This was our first time back for awhile since they changed ownership. Right after the change things weren't as good, but we were pleasantly surprised to find out that Ilarios has returned to its previous excellence.

The servers were quick and attentive. The food was excellent. They even brought out a bowl of the creamy jalapeño sauce for me to try before deciding on my order!
The servings were generous, but not ridiculous.

My only complaint would be that it's always cold in this restaurant. I imagine that's because the cooks are trying to stay comfortable because it's a small space with an open kitchen. So I'd recommend bringing a jacket. (There was a young lady there with a blanket. I was jealous!)

Ilario’s Italian Cuisine & Catering in Kyle, Texas - My husband & I are new to Texas from Southern California. We live in Kyle, Texas and heard about Ilario’s excellent food so we had to try it! My husband is Italian so of course we went. A friend of mine from So Cali also moved to Texas so he drove up to go eat with us. The food was AMAZING!!! I’m a vegetarian so I ordered the cheese raviolis with marinara YUM!!! My husband ordered fettuccine with alfredo sauce & our friend ordered fettuccine alfredo with chicken. Everything was so GOOD! I highly recommend Ilario’s Italian in Kyle Texas! Kim & Tim

First time eating here. Best pizza we have had in a very long time! The Spaghetti and meatballs were delicious as well, and the bread that came with the meal was amazing! Service was great! Atmosphere was nice, nothing fancy, but very relaxing. Can’t wait to try more of thei items on their menu!
They also have gluten free crust and pasta!

Have eaten here twice. First time I had the Italian pot roast. It was as excellent no complaints very flavorful, very good. Second time I had gluten-free pasta with meatballs and Italian sausage. Again extremely good, well seasoned, and flavorful. Both times we had excellent service I have absolutely nothing but positive things about this restaurant and would definitely eat here again!

Food was delicious, service was good, kid friendly. Wednesdays are $5 glass of wine or 1/2 off a bottle. We will be back!

Providing an updated review for this restaurant as I was able to snag a couple pictures of their updated menu. My last meal here there was a multiple page fold menu so perhaps this will be new to others as well.

The restaurant still has amazing food and on a nice day like today, I highly recommend sitting in their outdoor patio area. Our waitress was outstanding being exceptionally nice and attentive. I also want to add that the location is dog friendly, just be prepared to sit out on the patio.

I love eating here when I come to town and introducing friends to this wonderful restaurant. Please check them out when you get the chance!

Cute little place right next to HEB. The food was surprisingly good, the bread was delicious, and the wait staff were all super pleasant, especially Luke. Luke was a fantastic waiter and incredibly fun to talk to.

Also, the to-go bowls are awesome, I was legitimately surprised at how nice they are, and talked for probably way too long about that.

Highly recommend giving this place a try!

The wife and I moved to Kyle last April and finally stopped in to Ilario's for lunch.
The atmosphere is relaxed and homie.
The food was good, with large portions and balanced flavors. It's not going to change your life, but it's good food.
The surprise for me was the service.
I spent twenty years in the service industry and these days especially it's very rare to come across fantastic service.
Ruben was stellar. What really stood out, and this may sound silly, but the hostesses (one of the hardest jobs in a restaurant to be great at) who were both highschool aged, would descend on a dirty table like trained ninjas and have it cleared and reset immediately. They even came by once and pre-bussed plates from my table.
Everyone was just very attentive and despite the relaxed vibe everyone was still working and focusing on making sure the job was getting done and it did not go unnoticed.
We will definitely be back. Next time I'll remember to take more shots of the food. 😂

Great Italian! Very cozy atmosphere. Our food came out quickly, and was absolutely delicious. I ordered the manicotti and was not disappointed. My granddaughter got the cheese pizza that is pictured and loved it. Prompt and friendly service, we will return!

Hidden little gem. Good food! The waitstaff was very friendly. We never felt like we were waiting for food on a very busy night!

Always enjoy coming here for a quick and cheap meal. My favorite is the pecan-crusted chicken with side caesar salad. They also have a limited menu of drinks and desserts as well.

We got there around 8:45pm. They close at 10pm. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, culture and the food here. Great prices! Our waitress was super chill, awesome and really showed she cared about serving us. We are new to the area and she recommended me three meals and I settled for the Fettuccine Chicken Alfredo ... she made us feel at home, made feel welcomed and not rushed although I’m sure she wanted to get home. With myself and my three kids. She did well and the food was again.... GREAT! I’ll be back not just for their food but for the customer service and to me. Customer is key... the team there had that going on for sure. If you don’t like their food I’m sure you’ll be back at least for their services. :)

Ok...took my sis and nephew there to try it out....it was SOOOO good! Even the doggone pizza...and I'm from Chicago so you know I don't play! Waiter was quite distracted...could have been so much better ..

Food was very tasty and excellent and we are extremely full and definitely recommend. My son Ellis is a waiter there and our first time there and I was amazed.

My husband Frank Washington & I was Celebrating our 36th Wedding Anniversary this evening and we wanted to come to Ilario's Italian Cuisine. The customer service representative was excellent and the food was extremely great.

It was our first time in Mother’s Day. Restaurant was packed. Good service and good food.

ilarios catered the food for our daughters wedding recently. The food was delicious! I particularly enjoyed the vegetarian lasagna. Andrew was lovely to work with, and considerate of all food/allergy needs. I highly recommend!
