Great little store. Selection is good without being overwhelming with choices. Customer service is a big draw too, very friendly and helpful staff. I mentioned a fairly hard to find rum once and they offered to custom order a couple bottles and let me know when it was in stock. Details like that make it a wonderful place to stop at.

By far the best liquor store I’ve ever been in. From the best selection to the absolute best staff. So kind and helpful. From the fancy stuff to party packs to liquor inspired home decor. It’s great!

Second visit today. Knowledgeable staff. Great selection. Nice atmosphere. Usually have something to taste if you ask. We picked up a bottle of Pasote Blanco Tequila today for around $52.

INCREDIBLE such a unique liquor store, so many brands I've never seen! they also have a super friendly staff that's so well dressed. The store itself looks like a grand library of amazingly organized bottles of liquor many you wouldn't see in a "normal" store.

Beautiful liquor store! The way the store was designed gives it class and they carry so many varieties. If you can't find what your lookin for I'd be surprised. The staff is extremely helpful & polite. Real cool store... highly recommend.

Love the convenient location. Prices were good, I hope they stay that way and weren't just grand opening specials. I enjoyed the taste test of whiskey at the counter.

The only liquor store I go to now. The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable no matter what kind of liquor or wine I am looking for. Great selection and great atmosphere. I sometimes enjoy just walking around looking at the different options and talking to the employees. The Waco and Woodway locations are both superb, haven't been out to Mart but i'm sure it is just as wonderful.

One of the coolest liquor store concepts I’ve seen. Staff has knowledge and class. One time I asked if they had an obscure Bermudan ginger beer and they ordered it for me on the spot even though they didn’t normally carry it. Great people. Baylor location is even larger.

Beautiful store but everything has a significant markup. I would excuse this and even probably pay the price if the Whiskey selection was as good as the name implies. Staff never introduced themselves or broke from their personal conversation to ask what I was looking for.

Edit: I returned to the store and gave them another chance. Staff was very helpful and courteous. I would now recommend this store to anyone looking for good whiskey.

This place is elegantly crafted. The dark mahongany shelving provides a soothing shopping experience. I enjoy shopping here. It's my favorite adult beverage stop. Additionally, Firewater Liquor has a well organized beverage selection. 👍🏾

Absolutely the best liquor store in Waco or central Texas for that matter. I am enjoying a fantastic bottle of Royal Salute that I’ve been searched for for a very long time. Please go check them out. The customer service is outstanding.

The feel and look is so classy and inviting without being pretentious. You come in and feel like are visiting an old friend who has all the best liquors you never knew you wanted to buy because you did not they existed.

My wife and I were in awe of the selections and great inventory. I even bought my first crystal scotch whiskey glasses that I use regularly to enjoy my last 2 bottles purchased. I need to get 2 more glasses. LOL.

First time in the store today and I just want to say everybody was freaking awesome. They were out of stock on the liquor I wanted to get but about 4 to 5 employees got together to help me figure out a substitute. I've never seen anything like it. They all seem pretty busy and dropped what they were doing to help it was just an awesome experience. I'm pretty sure this is going to be my go-to liquor store.

Firewater Liquor is a charming, sophisticated, & elegant emporium. It is always a pleasure to go when curating a special gift for a loved one or special event. I first discovered this company when I was looking for a specific item that other retailers did not carry. Not only did they have the item in stock, they had others I've never seen before. This allowed me the ability to one stop shop all of my holiday needs at Christmas and New Years. My first impression was of a bright and illustrious atmosphere. The environment is pleasant & serene. The store has warm tones of dark wood shelves, beautiful chandeliers, & great attention to detail. They always have samples available at the register and the staff is very knowledgeable in helping steer guests in the right direction. The isles are coordinated nicely and everything is solid and well kept. You can see the attention to detail in making sure they run a well oiled machine. I'm always greeted with a smile and thanked on the way out for my business. This establishment has also gone out of it's way to listen to ideas from it's guest in discovering new products for the shelves as well as feedback. I suggested a product and they delivered on it, incredible. Furthermore, if you are at awe and unsure where to begin your venture, Firewater Liquor does offer gift cards for that special someone in your life. Overall, my experiences have been meritorious and I'm so proud that such a young entrepreneur has been able to evolve his business in an ever changing climate. I know the BU store will be a huge success. I'm a forever customer just by the staffs ability to show a "servers" heart. Employees even add their own personal touch to store designing lamps and merchandising elements to tie in the layout and wow guests. Thank you for reading my review, I hope it was helpful. My husband happened on this liquor store and dutifully asked, on my behalf, about a liqueur I had enjoyed in Hungary 6 years ago but which previously was unavailable in the U.S. (We used to get it occasionally from Canada on business trips.) They researched it, checked in with me for more details, and FOUND the liqueur in its newly labeled but authentic form, now imported to the U.S. I was amazed—no one else had taken the inquiry seriously. The store itself is elegant, the people smart and attentive, the stock both diverse and comprehensive, and the prices good. There is nothing else in Waco like it.

Absolutely the best liquor store I have ever been to. Very cool layout. Extremely friendly staff. Next time we are in town, we will swing by again for sure.
