Dr. Nutson is responsive, up to date on my records and has been a supportive part of my Medical Team. I would refer any friend to him and Well Med at Jefferson. Besides, it is very close to Allendale area!

My experience was very good. Dr. Edoka spent an hour with me, how often do you see that?! He was thorough, professional and knows his job! I'd recommend this place!

I called today and I pushed number one to connect to the person who was supposed help me with my refill and I asked him to send Dr Nutson a message from me.
First of all, the first time I called, the phone rang and they hung up on me. The second time I called, the guy sounded like he was higher than a kite. I asked him about my prescription and he said nothing about my Therapist being the only one to fill it. Then when I started to tell him what to send to Dr Nutson, he started taking the message but then he he said that maybe he should send me to someone in the back who deals closely with the doctors. Eva or Evon or something like that was the person who I was speaking with. When I finished my message I said okay do you have all of that and nobody was there. I kept saying hello are you there, hello can you hear me, hello hello. I realized that she had put the phone down.
I hung up and called back and she answered the phone. I said, “I was just talking to you about Dr Nutson and then she asked me for my birthday and name all over again which tells me that the guy who I spoke with first who sits right there next to her didn’t even have any of my information from the beginning.
Then she rudely tells me that Dr Nutson is on vacation for two weeks and I have to call my therapist to get my refills because she is the one who filled at a particular time.
I’m not dumb because I see different doctors names on my refills and Dr Nutson and doctors that I don’t even know have names on my prescriptions.
This is why I’m giving Wellmed a 1 out of 10 because these young people who work at the front desk are lazy and rude. They should have told me at the beginning of the conversation when I said that I wanted to send a message to Dr Nutson that he was on a two week vacation, but no, they were too lazy and lacked empathy for their patients who were asking questions and providing important information about their health issues that could give light as to why they are suffering from certain conditions.

Dr. Zaveleta is no longer here (unfortunately).

I was at this WellMed for many years but after Zaveleta left, I was seeing a doctor and PA who constantly said, "No worries, it's just because of your age. Enjoy your good health!"

Issues with aging kill the most people! After moving to a different Well-Med, the new doctor listened to all my issues previously ignored here, and found a lot of correctable issues.

Beware, the staff at this site is VERY dangerous to your health!

Stay the hell away from Well-Med, at Jefferson Square, located in Austin, Texas. I was the patient of Dr. Thomas Zavaleta, he was rude, disrespectful when talking to him, regarding your health. I never was told to undress and put on a gown to be check by the Dr. He would walk in, sat on his stool, and talk, never did he even check my vital signs, or do a complete physical. When you would asked him a question, "he would raise his hand, meaning to stop talking." His medical assistant Jennifer was rude, and did not have a good bedside manner. She would call in your prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy, on more than one occasion, and you would have to call the office informing them that Jennifer called in your meds to the wrong pharmacy, and for her to call the correct pharmacy. The Dr. yank one of my meds that I had been on for 4 years, only for him not to refill it. After placing numerous phone calls to the office, in explaining to the receptionist that I need to have this med filled, since I had been on it for a long time. She said "she would pass on the message to Jennifer." Needless to say. " Jennifer would never call back." My co-pay for a prescription was $5.00 for generic, and the doctor would call in the actual brand costing me $256.00. Every time you placed a call to the office, "it's document on your file." Also, when going to the Emergency Room, you're required to call the doctor's office, and informed them that you're going to the ER, and if you don't you would be getting a nasty call from the nurse, Marylyn, in chastising you why you didn't call the doctor's office. You're also required to make an appointment to see the doctor following your ER visit. It's all about billing your insurance.. Stay far away from WELL-MED.

Inefficient, haven’t responded to my requests for a refill or online appointment request. Avoid this office!
