I had an urgent need to sell my house quickly but I didn't not have a positive experience with most of the cash buyers in the Austin area. However, when I contacted Austin Home Buyer, they had a representative meet me at my house the day after I talked to them. The rep was professional, polite, and a knowledgable buyer that evaluated my home and made a competitive offer within 24 hours. They were able to close it the next week. The other companies I contacted either gave me lowball offers or wanted to wholesale it. Austin Home Buyer came through with everything that they said they would.

After interacting with many potential buyers on selling a FSBO run down duplex, we found Robert's offer very competitive and also the most straightforward. Many potential bidders in the FSBO process hummed and hedged over needing more time to secure their financing and needed longer closing periods and various contingencies.

With Robert, none of that was presented and the closing indeed did happen with him on time and without any problems whatsoever. Lots of brief emails were needed to finalize various points along the way as is typical with a sale, but Robert always responded in a timely manner and on point, often within minutes. There are a lot of greenhorns in the market these days, and sometimes that extra $5k isn't worth the bother for what might turn into weeks of drama caused by a novice buyer learning the rehab market. Always get as many offers as you can, but then go to Robert.
