Cost Cutters

I haven’t had my hair cut in five years, and am a man with very long hair, so I was pretty nervous. Nikki did an incredible job and was so friendly! I love my hair cut and absolutely recommend anyone else go to Cost Cutters and ask for Nikki. I am a seriously picky person but I am 100% pleased with the experience.

Vivian did an absolutely amazing job she was actually the first person that's ever sent went over things to how I wanted my hair done the way I wanted it which was a very great experience that most Barbers or beauticians do not do anymore I had a great experience and I will definitely come back

I had different color tones , but caryon did miracle with my hair. I love my new look .

I generally don't write reviews, but in this case I felt compelled to do so: Caryn truly did a perfect job cutting my hair. While living in Champaign, I won't be going anywhere else for a haircut.

Great barber shop/ hair place. All the employees are very nice and polite over the phone and in the store. If you call ahead they usually always have openings and can usually fit you in if your schedule is flexible. They have a good selection of hair products and usually always have some sort of deal on them. Overall a great convenient place to get your hair cut. A+

Rachel was my AMAZING hair dresser!! I am one of those people that gets her hair trimmed once about, oh, every 2-3 years. My hair looks and feels amazing!! I bought everything she used! Very reasonable, friendly and I would recommend to all!! I am pretty sure I will be back within a couple months.

I have been getting my haircut here for years and I always enjoy coming to this place. the staff is always friendly and pleasant and always great to talk to. Normally I try to add one bad thing from each place I review but I can honestly say I can't think of a thing to say negatively about the location. they let you book your appointment in advance will usually see you early and I been getting the same great treatment here for years now.

So I am someone who never gets my haircut. I called cost cutters and spoke with a really wonderful lady Melanie. She made me already feel so comfortable over the phone, and when I went in, it was very clean and welcoming. Melanie was great. She listened and talked me through everything. As much hair that I got cut off after 15 years I couldn't be happier. Melanie you are my forever hair stylist. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Caryn was my stylist and she did a PHENOMENAL job. I’ll definitely be coming back. She was professional and had a lot of helpful info for my hair type and how I should care for it!! Best haircut I think I’ve had!

I walked in here today and was seen by Melanie within a half hour. I had very long hair and wanted a short pixie cut. She did an amazing job. My hair turned out exactly how I wanted it. This is a great value and the hair dressers are very attentive.

I have two girls with incredibly thick, wavy, and curly hair. The stylists here always take great care and spend any time necessary to work out tangles and they never seem rushed. Their rates are insanely reasonable, and I couldn't be happier with their work.

All of the hairdressers are very friendly. Melanie is great and I always enjoy talking with her! Cost cutters is most affordable place to go and get quality work. :)

Friendly staff, excellent at styling and making you feel at ease. Price is great especially on Tuesdays when that leaves me more room to tip. Just call ahead so you don't risk not being able to get in when it's busy.

I moved back "home" to Illinois in April and I didn't realize how difficult it would be to find a hair stylist. I don't have to experiment any more, Vivian was amazing and my hair looks perfect. Yes, even the next day after it was dried and styled at home. She listened to what I wanted, asked before she went to far, talked to me about color that I do myself and when she said she knew how to razor cut, she really meant she knew how! I like my hair super short in sort of a choppy pixie cut and I would post a pic, but I hate photo's of myself! The shop was CLEAN and the other stylists were friendly. My search is over!

Melanie has done my bangs at the last second, numerous times. She is very professional. I totally would have expected her to pressure me into more than just my bangs. Not once. Love her.

Vivian is always excellent! She's attentive to detail and knows what her customer wants or needs. Mel is always very pleasant and makes you feel welcome!

I've been going here for a fair amount of my college career and I've left satisfied every time. Friendly staff and good haircuts for good prices. Keep an eye out for coupons to make it even cheaper!
