One of our favorite places in CU! We don't live in the area anymore, but anytime we're back we like to stop by to get beer to share with family. Amazing selection and knowledgeable employees!

This is the best liquor store in the area, very convenient for me to drop in on my way home, and the staff has always been knowledgeable and very helpful.

Went in for a particular port and any old almond-flavored sparkling wine. Couldn't find the latter because of the dizzying number of sparkling wine options. Helpful staff took me right to it.

They have more alcohols that I sometimes couldn’t find at other places.

My fiancé and I went last week for the first time and both of us were impressed. Employees were nice and helpful on the phone and in person, and we found exactly what we were looking for. We ended buying a range of well-priced wine and liquor, and so far we have been very happy with our purchases. We intend to go back in a few months, as we don't really drink large quantities of alcohol. Good stuff!

Best selection and best service in CU area liquor stores. Also best home brew supplier in region. Prices are good, too. You won't overpay on anything and might find some surprising deals on high-end items.

My husband and I love trying new and different beers. We sometimes shop at Binnys, which does tend to be slightly lower in price. But Friar Tuck has a better selection of the more obscure beers. And that's what's most important when we shop for beer. They also have a better variety of the larger bottles.

Awesome selection of craft beers. Have several local breweries and meaderies represented here. The staff are very helpful and can provide some great recommendations.

I was so happy to see they were open Labor Day morning and had everything I was looking plus more. The gal at the register was in great spirits and really made me feel welcome to be inside the store.

Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The selection is the best in Champaign, Urbana, and Savoy. The prices are reasonable and the sales they have are great. It's always clean. The only reason I don't buy here more often is because it's in Savoy.
