Huron Meadows Metropark

This park is large with a little bit of everything. The farm is a good experience for kids. The lake is good for fishing and has a nice beach. Walking trails are well used.

Just a great golf course. Well kept greens, no dead spots on the fairways. Clean facilities, plenty of food and drink. Staff was nice. I bit slow but they make sure things are correct. Please make this one of your courses to play , you will enjoy it.

Trail winds around a stunning lake. Other trails into the woods. Golf course, playground.

Small playground with lots of open space. Good trails for walking and enjoying nature. A great view of the water. Plenty of tables for a picnic.

Good park

This park is so peaceful, quiet and beautiful. One of my favorite spots.

There are two sides to this park. The North side has multiple playscapes, fishing, golf, groomed and lit cross country ski trails, and more. The South side is quiet and has backwoods trails and weaves around the Huron River. The South side of the park is all on dirt roads.

Today we saw a snapping turtle making a nest in the wood chips near the spring, probably to lay eggs, very interesting to watch.

Wide open hilly trails, lot of loop options. Great for cross country skiing, they have groomed trails, ski rentals. A great park!

Awesome cross country skiing. Groomed for both skating and classic skiing, skate and classic ski rentals, and three snow guns that produce man-made snow for a lighted 2.5 km section of trail. The Frosty Fest (second weekend each January) has two ski races on the trails. Best XC skiing in southeast Michigan.

This was a nice easy hike on a Saturday morning. The trail is well marked and it feels like you are somewhere uncharted because there were not a lot of people on the trail. Easy to get in and out of the park too.

Its a small walking park, however its nice quiet and a nice location by the river

Great place to kayak. Not overly crowded. The Huron River is fairly calm with slow current. Drive down to river to offload kayaks. Launch, paddle upstream, them paddle back downstream to landing. Lots of wildlife! Saw a deer swimming as it crossed the river!!

Love this park! You can find a ton of great sight seeing areas and pathways, it's definitely a little slice of heaven. Taking my pup here for even just an hour wears him out.

Really beautiful hidden gem in Livingston county, and there's a cute playground for the little ones to enjoy.
