Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel

We had a fantastic stay, the staff was amazing! We showed up early before check-in and they were able to get us into a room. The hotel is walking distance to everything downtown. The room was spacious and clean. Due to a late flight out we were able to get a late check out thanks to their amazing staff.

Beautiful spacious room, view from our room was of the courtyard, but it's design was a pleasure to see. Breakfast at the in-house restaurant was spectacular. Pool looked warm and inviting, but due to an influx of a hockey team on premises, I didn't get to use it.
Beds were comfortable, pillows extra fluffy, but we could have used an extra blanket or two. The one supplied was very thin and of little use. We slept in our bathrobes and extra socks to stay warm.
Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Notes: if you use sweet and low, be sure to pack your own.
Our room was super quiet, which is great if you like it that way, but we had a hard time sleeping without some kind of noise..lol
If you have a CPAP machine you should bring a long extension cord. Too few electrical outlets so you will need one to reach an outlet. We both use them and only one outlet was difficult.

Just a short walk from downtown Port smooth NH shops, but far enough for some quiet too. Prices were reasonable for the feeling of a high end hotel. We got upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite that was awesome with a dining room, living room, kitchen, office, bedroom and small balcony. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but it looked good, as did the bar. They did have a club room which had a stocked refrigerator, coffee machines and hot food at night and in the morning. Hostess in the club room was awesome. I would stay here again definitely.

Nice hotel in a great location in Portsmouth. Room was updated and well furnished. The hotel is very pet friendly. My golden retriever was welcome most everywhere. The main carpeted part of the restaurant was off-limits, but the lobby area adjacent to the bar has tables and chairs. I was able to eat and drink there with him next to my table. Staff was very friendly to him and to me. The restaurant was surprisingly good. Hotel restaurants are usually a last resort for me. But this one was very good with a large variety of dishes and a good beer selection. If there was one downside, that would be cost of parking, but that is standard for downtown Portsmouth. I was able to find a package that included parking. Overall, a great experience.

Enjoyed many reflexologist from around the country at the Reflexology Association of American RAA conference here at the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside!

I've been staying at the Sheraton Portsmouth for 7 years now. The front desk staff is wonderful as is Marcia in the restaurant and Brian who stocks treats for the repeat Bonvoy guests.
Even though I feel a bit guilty, every time I order the delicious breakfast with crispy bacon and those killer potatoes I am never disappointed! The potatoes are always fresh, hot and crispy, you can't beat that! Looking forward to my next visit.

Great vacation, super friendly staff, room was clean, in a great part of downtown just off center enough to miss the big traffic. Clean pool, amazing shampoo and conditioner. Awesome showers with hot hot water. Overall a very good time

We very much enjoyed our stay. Room was huge, lobby bar was perfect and had a great view of the water and sunset. Everyone we came in contact with who worked there was very professional. We will stay again!

Excellent location if visiting portsmouth. Within short walking distance to downtown. Rooms were recently remodeled. Beautifully appointed with cool modern furniture. Have never had a room with a view even though it is on the water, but if you're visiting portsmouth it does not matter as you'll rarely be in your room.

The rooms were great. Had some nice angles. Different, clean, comfortable. Lighting in bathroom could have been better. There was some working going on, so dealt with that noise. The site and neighborhood is blah. Not bad, but blah. But you are a very short walk to a great downtown, so the area has lots to offer. $35 to park (valet) seemed overkill after paying for the room, though. Staff and vibe was good. Room was very nice. We live 30 minutes away, it was a getaway night. I'd go back.

I was here for three days on a company retreat, and loved it. The meeting rooms were comfortable and roomy, and staff was extremely helpful whenever we needed anything. My room was immaculate, as were all the public spaces of the hotel as well. I'd come here again just for a weekend getaway.

I was crashing my husband's conference that he was attending 🙃. The food was great, staff was very accommodating and house keeping staff were helpful, and friendly. Portsmouth is such an awesome little town, we had a great time.

Stayed here for a company function. Nice accommodations, room was comfortable, not a ton of space though. Banquet hall was big and spacious, probably 200 people or so comfortably accommodated. Nice small auditorium that seats roughly 75 to 100 people.

Great service, very quiet, food services around the clock. Historical buildings and places all within walking distance.

Recently attended a 4 day, 3 night quilting retreat at the Portsmouth Sheraton. Everything was great! My room was perfect, thanks to Donna the housekeeper. The food was very good in the restaurant. Had 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 2 dinners. The sewing room had nice natural light and all the power cords we needed. Anything we needed was handled promptly and with a smile. Patrick the manager could not have been more accommodating. The whole staff is wonderful. The valets even packed up my car because the weather was messy. Just a great experience!

Our room was immaculate, like brand new!! The bed and comforter was super comfy, hotel was quiet etc.
From the time we checked in and were met by the young Valet Cam (he was excellent), till the time we checked out our 2 day stay was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great service, location, and staff. Booked my parents a trip here for their birthday after I had a great stay myself. My parents had an incredible suite and the view of as lovely. Will definitely come back. The hotel was also very clean!
