Fantastic meal hosted by amazing friends at Tulsi Restaurant. Was a new experience for me. I’ve always enjoyed different cultural and ethnic foods but alway was reluctant to try Indian. Well I was wrong and I’ve missed out because this meal was fantastic. Everything I tried was perfectly cooked and bursting with complex flavors. Shrimp, Chicken, Lamb and even Goat. Meats were all tender. Nothing was over spiced nor too hot. The service was gracious and super friendly. Everyone got a huge kick out of India’s name.

If you have ever considered giving Indian cuisine a try please try Tulsi. You can thank me later

It's delicious , my fav is the goat Curry and chicken Tikka Masala( Love the spices but cumin to much is a no no). I wish they put more meat,,,, for the price we paid. Friendly bartender( he made the best drink) and polite, waitress are helpful, not sure if there is a manager but 1 lady came by to other table greeting and asking how's the food and everything but she didn't came to us(no biggie). Please bathroom have more lights in the hallway and inside ....! I was just afraid to get in by my self 😞it was uncomfortable feeling. And walked by the fridge or something smells like a old house. But after all....it was good except for parking are hard to get.

The paneer makhanwala had really nice flavor, I really enjoyed it! Raita was fantastic, but the yellow dal was a hard no lol texture and taste is nothing like it should be, really watery and more like chicken soup but everything else was great and the atmosphere (just from pick up) was very cozy and nice.

Tulsi is one of the best Indian restaurants in the NH/Maine sea coast area. Consistently amazing food (especially their Paneer Makhanwala and Bhindi Masala). Great vegetarian options, their drinks and appetizers are delicious too, and the service is quick and courteous.

I’ve been to almost every Indian restaurant in the area and this is one of the best (if not the best) in my 5 years of going here. Wish I could give 10 stars.

Editing it to say that it’s still amazing after almost 10 years of going here consistently (once every 3-4 months).

Great restaurant in Southern Maine. The chicken 65 and goat curry was superb. Felt the infian flavours of spices with great attention given to goat curry. Definitely would recommend to other travellers.

I had a lovely lamb curry here. The staff is incredibly friendly and clearly care about the quality of their product. It's a must-stop for Indian food in the area.

First time eating here, and they did NOT disappoint. I went there for a surprise birthday party and everything was amazing from the food to the waitstaff. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

One of the best Indian Restaurants in New England. The food is always fresh and delicious. Very authentic and not too rich, like some other Indian Restaurants. They offer a buffet on Sundays, which is outstanding.

Everything here is absolutely delicious. The Sunday lunch buffet is awesome, and let's you try a bit of everything. It's definitely worth checking out. Never had a bad dish here. Service is always on point, too. It's our favorite place for Indian food and one of our favorite restaurants in general.

Best food around. Our server was great, too. He was patient with questions and even adjusted the lighting to our table. Can't wait to go back!

Wow! I spent 5.5 years working overseas in AJK Pakistan. The Kashmiri lamb and the chapati/Naan brought back memories. The Tulsi cider is dangerously addictive. Excellent and authentic. The service (Mercedes) was excellent and her recommendations were on point. I will definitely be dining here as a repeat customer.

So, this was hands down the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Our whole group was really happy but I was sitting there in kind of a warm bubble of food bliss. One of our group asked for spicy, and we shared all the dishes, so I was in pain (I have a soft northern Euro palate) but a warm and happy place of pain mixed with contentment.

It actually makes me sort of sad that I don’t expect I will ever eat better Indian food…

Based on a friend suggestion while on business we swung by this place after work. I had the lamb curry and garlic nan bread. Very tasty. Although I request it extremely spicy it was not that spicy which was ok. They brought out more spices to add to it after requesting more. Food was excellent and the staff was outstanding.

I love this place. It's great to have an authentic Indian restaurant in Kittery, Maine and it is popular too! My favorite is the Sunday buffet when you can try all sorts of things. They usually have a soup (usually dal), a few different proteins (chicken, goat, etc.), enough veggie dishes for vegetarians to be happy, and lots of naan. My photo shows what a typical plate might look like. As my friend and I say, "It's so Dal-iscious is naan-sense!" :)

Absolutely delicious! Best chicken Tikka masala I've ever had by a long shot! Our bartender was excellent at recommending dishes and advising about spice levels, which made our experience that much better! The homemade naan was exquisite as well. Will definitely return!

The chicken curry was absolutely delicious. I got the highest level of spiciness but it wasn't insanely spicy. You can probably order things slightly more spicy than your usual at this place.

The drinks were also delicious!

Ambiance was spot on, after seated the service was great. Server knew the menu well and provided helpful recommendations. Beer selection was robust and the dishes had amazing flavor.
