Stairway to Heaven Comics

We found this store by seeing a flyer someone posted online and couldn’t be happier we did. We’ve only been twice since it’s not super close to us but we will be back! The store is loaded not only with stuff for adults like comics, figures, cards etc but also stuff like Baby Shark comic books my little guy loved. So excited to come back!!

Brad is one of the coolest, nicest, and most knowledgeable guys I know and, oh yeah, he has an amazing comic store with equally amazing staff! Go check it out!
They've got new, used, and discount comics as well as assorted other cool stuff like D&D, card games, toys, etc. You won't be sorry!

Hands down the best comic book store on the Seacoast (and perhaps the world!)😍 Always packed with so many cool items and owner Brad & staff are super helpful with ideas and suggestions! There is always something going on with a game being played making it a welcoming community space. We are so lucky to have Stairway to Heaven Comics right here in the Portsmouth area!! Solid plane for RPG's, miniatures, CCG's. Friendly staff, good selection and they will order anything not in stock.

Always a pleasure to visit. Staff is welcoming, friendly, inclusive and knowledgeable, plus they've got a great selection of reads.

A gem of a comics shop with a great selection of current and back issues, clean and bright interior, and extremely friendly and helpful staff. You can scratch your itch for the standard superhero fare from the Big Two, but there's also an expansive selection of indie books from Fantagraphics, D+Q, Dark Horse, etc., self-published stuff, a wide variety of manga, and dollar bins. A great place to dig if you've got the time.

I’m giving this store 5 stars because they have the one thing that all comic book stores should have: comfortable seating for bored wives while they wait for their husbands. In this case, a really comfortable rocking chair. On a side note, my husband also loved the store. :-)

One of the largest comic shops I have been to. Large selection of comics and manga, and there are even some model kits and trading cards. Shop owner and employees are very friendly and are passionate about what they do. Great shop, will definitely be back

Brad is the coolest and its his passion makes this place is such a precious jewel. He's one of the nicest shop owners who really cares about and cultivates local talent as well as carrying all of the big names in comics, roll playing games and more. If you haven't been there then shame on you!

Great shop, great staff, great products. They have everything from new release comics to collectibles, trading card games, and more. Best comic shop in the area, hands down.

Love it here! Favorite part is I bring 4 young kids in almost every time and the owner treats every child as if they were a paying customer. I love it as much as The kids do. They have tons of comics and books. Also a good selection of trading cards. We usually go for the Pokémon stuff and seems like it’s always changing! This place forever has my business.
