Great place for pub food and drinks. I had a specialty burger and tots, my wife had french onion soup and onion rings. We had the pork belly appetizer. The food was very tasty. They also had a nice drink menu.
Friendly staff and lots of big screen TV's.

What a great experience at The Goat this past Saturday at 10:30am! Our group wasn't sure if they wanted breakfast or lunch so The Goat's brunch was perfect! Service was terrific, too! Thanks for a fantastic time, we'll be back!

Went during the Christmas season to get the full experience and wasn't disappointed, just expect to wait awhile as they do not take reservations; plan accordingly (went down the street to a brewery to wait). The holiday themed drinks were great additions to the menu. Where they really shine is the amount of beautiful holiday decorations, which are quite literally everywhere. Everywhere you look, there is something different to see. The food is nothing special but tastes good, mostly sandwich type meals. The burger was as expected, pasta salad as well. A fun holiday experience to be sure.

They made our day. We were having a bad day but after visiting tjis restaurant we both were so happy. We played music bingo and we also got discount (buy one get one free)

We visited during the Miracle bar pop up. It was great! Wall to Wall decorations for Christmas. Phenomenal drink menu. Server was awesome as was the food. We will be back.

What a great find...

This was a really cool place for lunch. The decor is rustic and goes well with the theme. The food was delicious. The service was slightly off, but I think the waitress was just having an off day - she was really sweet, just not attentive. I had the goat thunder burger, which was a perfect combination of ingredients. The burger was cooked perfectly. Baby girl had a mac and cheese flight, which was awesome - she really enjoyed this. This is a great place to stop...

Great service, great food, all at a great price. Definitely stop in for 10 cent wing wednesdays! Wings were delicious. All food came out together, so if you want apps first definitely order separate. I definitely would come back

The Goat was literally so good. I got their Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese with cornbread!! I ate so much yet barely made a dent the servings were massive! Great cornbread, really cheesy mac, and perfectly cooked burgers Rustic style eatery with a bar serving beers and booze. Many TV's showing sports, classic cars, etc... food was really good we’ll be back for sure!

While in Portsmouth, we had heard great things about The Goat and decided to stop in for dinner. Loved the vibe, and they were able to seat our party of 5 right away. The food was all pretty tasty! Great cornbread, really cheesy mac, and perfectly cooked burgers. The cookie skillet was a great way to end the night.

Came here on a whim for Easter with the family. Great food, great drinks and great service. Highly recommend the fried pickles for an app. Fries were cooked to perfection and not over loaded with salt. Good size portions. Overall good vibes.

Stopped in early on Sunday to watch the Monaco GP and grab a bloody. Ended up getting a breakfast sammie and some tots and was pleasantly surprised. We lived in portsmouth for a while and never popped in for some reason. Definitely a great spot to watch sports (and early). The bloody was delicious and spicy - and served in a fun Effin glass.

This place is AWESOME. The food is delicious and fresh, big portions and won't disappoint! The waitress was awesome and recommended us to go on Saturday for brunch. The burger was finger licking good. The pulled pork was perfect. The kids meal was free on Friday. We will definitely will be back to enjoy their huge drink selection and amazing food. You must try the goat sauce and onion rings!!!

I know I should probably start with a great food review, or maybe mention the fantastic location or the wonderful hours or the attentive service. And yes, all of those were fantastic this morning after our morning walk around Portsmouth. But I think it's best to begin with the gorgeous Bloody Mary! A build your own beauty, with choice of spice level, everything fresh, really pretty presentation. Jump started my Saturday morning. I also had a wonderful Bernie's omelette with bacon, goat cheese instead of cheddar, and avocado with cilantro lime aioli, tater tots that were crispy and tasty, and a lovely marbled rye toast. Oh, and the cost for all this fresh gorgeousness? Very reasonable. And did I mention that the wait for the restaurant across the street (which is also very good, but super crowded), was out the door, while we walked right in at 8:00 a.m. opening and were seated at a table by the window. Bravo GOAT!

Great food, happy hour specials and very friendly, attentive staff. I also really liked the outdoor seating area which features some heat lamps and long tables. We had the fried pickles and shared a poutine as an appetizer. The fried pickles came with jalapeños and a yummy sauce which I wasn't expecting, really good. The poutine is normally a meal but we shared it as an additional appetizer with our group of 4. The beef gravy on the poutine was flavorful and the fries were thin and crispy. I do think it could have used a little extra cheese but we all enjoyed it. Among the group, we had 4 burgers. 2 Beef burgers, a friend chicken burger, and a veggie burger. We were all really happy with our food. It's also cool that the burgers come stamped with a "goat" shape. There's also an option of "tumbleweeds" which are like thin onion rings, instead of fries with the burgers. We also had some beers and drinks and the waitress was really good about noticing when our drinks were low and asking if we needed anything. Definitely reccomend!

Fantastic find in Portsmouth. A must stop for burger lovers (especially on days they run the 2 for 1 special). Burger meat itself could be better and juicier but the toppings and combos are what you come for. Creative American food. Everything on the menu sounds so good I will definitely be back. Can't beat the daily specials. Check their website for those!

We went here for brunch while on a short vacation and liked it so much that we went back the next day and ordered the same thing again. I had the Brisket BBQ omelet with the Fools Gold mimosa (St. Patrick's Day special). My wife had the Goat Hash Special with the Boozy Shamrock Shake (St. Patrick's Day special). On the first day we shared the Goat-Cane drink, which was huge! It was $35, but definitely worth it. All around, the food was amazing, service was good, and we had a great time!

Great place! We went for Brunch on a Sunday, and it was really busy. The service was great, and the food was amazing. I had "The Hungry Man" which was 2 eggs, home fries, ham, sausage, bacon, toast, and 2 pancakes. The Bloody Mary's are soooo good! Lots of toppings for the Bloody Mary's as well. I will definitely be going back. I want to go back at night when they have live music.

Good food and service - Had BBBLT and brisket sandwich. Love the goat printed on the bun- nice touch!
