This park is great for little kids because it's fully enclosed, so your toddler won't wander off indiscriminately into the wild yonder as mine tends to do. There are always a hundred discarded iterations of tricycle and the like here, which will probably be fun for my son in a few years, though now he mostly just enjoys pushing them around. There are four baby swings and two regular-sized swings, which is a good distribution for me, the toddler dad. I highly recommend it, it's a good playground with good vibes.

What you see is what you get. This is a very modest park with a lot of sand everywhere. And hundreds of used toys littering the playground. That is the reason my family and I loved it as we raised two boys in this village years ago, and when we look in these days and see the younger children playing, it brings back fond memories.

Wonderful little play ground for the little ones ! We take our 2 1/2 year old there . Seems people donate old kiddy bikes and pedal cars , and the children have a great choice of things to play with . Bring snacks and drinks and stay awhile , let the children play .

This is a really cute park! I took my (then 2 1/2 year old) son over the summer after getting ice cream nearby. I appreciate that the park is enclosed with gated access, has ample trees for shade, and plenty of benches. It has a lot of equipment for the kids to use, several structures to climb on, and plenty of things for kids to play with. There's a board path around the play area so kids can use the provided bikes/ride ons. Overall, it's a really nice park with a lot of space.

Huge variety for toddlers. Nice slides, swings, sand area with plenty of toys that's surrounded by a loop walkway that kids can ride various tricycles, push cars and scooters around. There's even a small yard with a soccer goal. There's a few trees that provide plenty of shade to some of the benches. Very clean, well maintained and a friendly atmosphere.

My favorite national park I've been to, beautiful scenery for miles. Ten times better than Yellowstone or Zion or Glacier or Grand Canyon or Arches or Volcanos or Denali national parks. Basically better than any national park you could think of, would recommend.

This park is built on the original site of the Haldane Central School.

If you are a toddler, when you come here you will think you are in TOY HEAVEN ! This is a repository for toys of all shapes and kinds! There are more toys that have wheels, than you could shake a stick at.

In 1997, the park was a center of local controversy, as the Village of Cold Spring, wanted to cut all the trees near the park down, their justification was a recomdation from their Insurance company. The Village refused to disclose the documents, and a lawsuit ensued. At that time, Adolf Philips was mayor.

In the Summer of 2018 the park got a new fence.

The funding for the park came from The Philipstown Community Council,in 1991, which was led by the late Mrs. Edith Nelson. I knew Mrs. Nelson well, as I worked for her husband, the late Professor Glenn C. Nelson for many years, when I was a teenager.

What an awesome time for my little toddler. I have been trying to figure out what ride on you to get him a few minutes here I
And I could see what he liked what he could actually ride and what looked safe.

Great place for exactly what it says "Toddler Park". Otherwise not much for older kids to do but play ball on grass.. Great little park though..😊🤗
