Poor George

Stopped in Poor George for the first time today while exploring Cold Spring with my mom. The owner was most welcoming and helpful. It is clear she takes pride in her shop, which she most definitely should! It's a bright and cheery store with awesome finds. I got a jumpsuit and a dress that I absolutely love. I plan to visit her website and order more in the future. I highly recommend stopping by Poor George when in the Cold Spring area.

I love shopping at Poor George, this place is the coolest! They have such a huge variety of the cutest, most up to date clothes / sweet vintage finds / house plants / stationary / accessories / beauty products. Honestly, what don't they sell down at Poor George. Before you even walk into the store, you get the vibe. It’s so welcoming, fun, and creative. The owner, Cadah is so great. Such a kind hardworking stylish young women. Not to mention, I live in Cold Spring and when I take my dog for a stroll around town, she has to stop in and say Hey to the Poor George folks!- which all love her. And we appreciate that love so much! Go check them out!!! 10/10

So glad I popped into the store. It had great curb appeal and when I went in, it was perfect! The owner is very personable and helpful. She even found a vintage belt for me and showed me how to style it. I ended up buying a cute, fashionable sweater and the belt. I found a handbag for my sister and she bought that. It is wonderful to shop at a place that is not a chain. Excellent experience!

Welcoming, socially conscious and high quality store! I had an amazing experience both online and in store with Poor George. The owner went out of her way to help me with my order that shipped almost immediately and the products were exactly as advertised. It has a great variety of vintage and new! It was well worth the drive and I can’t wait to go back!

Poor George is a gem of a store that Cold Spring is so lucky to have. The environment Cadah & her staff have created is welcoming, beautiful, and inspiring. And to top it off, they’re some of the kindest folks you’ll ever meet. It is a joy to step through those doors, and I’ve never failed to leave with my new favorite thing from their exceptionally-curated space.

Such a great store! I've bought some awesome vintage and modern go-tos there. It's so much fun just to browse too, I love the selection: Shoes, clothes, jewelry, stickers. Great curation. The staff is so friendly and helpful and really values customers' safety during these uncertain times. It is a great addition to Cold Spring's downtown!

I love this shop. I always look forward to visiting whenever I am in Cold Spring. There is always something new and interesting to check out. Whether it’s vintage clothes or a new candle to smell. Such a good mix of cool finds. And the people who work there are always friendly and helpful. Definitely worth checking out if you visit Cold Spring!

Poor George is my favorite store in existence, hands down. I have never left without a new piece of gorgeous vintage, home decor and a plant. But, the best part of the store is the super sweet and funny owner. I can't wait to go back!

Poor George has a fantastic mix of new and vintage clothing, gorgeous houseplants, and artisan made soaps, candles, and jewelry. The owner is super friendly, and has a great eye for interesting items. A place you must visit if you find yourself in Cold Spring!

Love this store and I am thrilled it is on the Main Street of Cold Spring! This shop is making good finds available and accessible to peeps living in Hudson Valley....yay! I was eyeing this shop on social media for months so when I finally came in, I was pleasantly surprised about how great it looked in person! Such a lovely place. The owner is a real sweet heart. Definitely one of those cute shops that makes Cold Spring such a unique place.

Really cute clothes and gift items at a reasonable price. I love sifting through her vintage selection and always find something I love. I’m also totally addicted to the face mask I picked up last time I went. And I’ve always gotten great customer service from the owner who is really friendly and helpful. If you visit Cold Spring don’t miss this beautiful shop!

Every time I shop here Cadah, the owner, is a delight and brightens my day. Her clothing selection is so on point. I have recommended this store to countless friends and will continue to do so. Did I mention the plant section? It's impossible to visit this store without buying something and leaving with a smile.

absolutely amazing! the owner was super kind and so helpful. all of the clothing is fairly priced and in great condition! the skirt that I tried on was just a tad to small so she just sewed a new button on in an instant! my new favorite store for sure. I hope to be back again soon! and I got a free sticker too haha :) and ignore the bad one star reviews. they’re all from entitled anti-mask karens ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Awesome little store I didn't know was over here, what a find! I was able to get gifts for almost everyone I was shopping for here as well as a few new pieces for the house. My wife was even impressed with them and wants to come herself but we are a little distance away. Anyhow - great shop with unique finds, store clerk was very friendly as well.

Poor George is the cutest little store! My family and I visited the town and were so happy we stopped in! Not only is the store packed with great products, the owner, Cadah, is the kindest & friendliest person who proves that good customer service is still alive and well! I went to Poor George with my friends on vacation and it was the coolest store ever. I bought tons of gifts for family and almost filled my suitcase. I wish I lived closer!

Poor George is the perfect store to wander into when up in Cold Spring! I found some great staple pieces and honestly could have bought so many more things (jewelry, purses, plants!). Highly recommend.
