Kostas Pizza House

Wow! This little Greek pizza corner store absolutely blew my mind! From the moment we walked in, the decor was just stupendous. The shop is filled with huge, beautiful, live hanging and potted plants. There is what I can only guess is some old Greek music playing, and a single, older, but incredibly upbeat and very funny guy running the whole show from behind the counter! He does it all, takes the orders, makes the food, waits the tables... all with a big smile and classic witty Greek banter! The food was absolutely fantastic. I had a gyro on my first visit and it was the best I've ever eaten! The wings on my next visit were cooked to perfection and came fast too!

I would 'hands-down' %100 recommend this place to anyone! It was an all-around wonderful experience and I will definitely be back again and again!

Fantastic, this place is a step back in time, a good time. Cash only becausewhat is a computer. He treats you like a friend. Locals were in there, giving the owner a hard time and he was giving it right back. The decor was put up when I was a kid, and I'm no spring chicken. The pizza was phenomenal, seriously. Crust was not burnt at all, buttery and chrisp on bottom and perfection in the center. The proportion of cheese to toppings were just right. I will be going back!

What a fantastic little pizza joint. The BEST pizza I have had in a very long time. Kosta still does pizza the old fashioned way and with a lot of heart. You will miss a great time here if you pass on by. I have been to many pizza shops and one that serves a counter instead of behind a wall is definitely worth going back for. I know where I'm stopping next time in the Syracuse area. oh, and bbring a bit of cash, as that is what is accepted. ATM is available, however. Eat and leave with a smile.

This guy is awesome, food is amazing service is top notch. It's like going to your uncles house who is going to feed you until you pop, o and it's some amazing ny pizza.

Gr8, fresh, hand made right in front of you. Don't be surprised if there's a line. And definitely don't plan to dine in during peak hours. Arrive early & bring cash (not expensive), cuz seating's limited & they don't take credit cards. The food's just that good.

I came here for a quick lunch and decided to get a gyro. It was hands down one of the best gyros I’ve had in the area! The owner is very friendly and I couldn’t have been happier with the service. I look forward to going again to try the pizza!

Do you want to temporarily visit heaven? Get lunch at Kostas Pizza House. Every element in the gyro is perfect and the baklava is out of this world. On top of that the owner is wonderful. Always make sure to stop when we're in town.

Wanted to find a local place for today’s meal and decided to give this a try. The best decision of the week! Amazing Food at Great price with a terrific owner/chef. Very welcoming atmosphere with an owner who is happy to answer any questions and chat about the food or life in general while managing the food on the grill. Most things tend to be home made, rather than bought frozen and dropped in the fryer/oven. If you’re in the Syracuse area, give this place a try. I rarely post reviews, but this place is worth it!

The Special Pizza lives up to its name. I love it! The crust has just the right amount of crisp, and the toppings are fresh and generous. The owner is amazing!

Checking out some stores in Syracuse Kostas caught my eye for a quick bite. As soon as you walk in your can tell the atmosphere is warm and accepting. Ended up getting a Greek pizza and it was super tasty definitely would stop here again to try the gyros!

Very nice establishment. The owner/operator made me a great tasting pie. Different from the style.of pie that Im customed to eating, but quality cheese and sauce. Nice Greek vibe in there also with the music.

Huge, delicious gyros! The owner is so upbeat and friendly! First time here but definitely not the last.

Update: I've been back twice and the gyros are just as good. Going for lunch again in a couple of days. Fresh, delicious food at a reasonable price and the owner is very personal and funny.

Kostas has the best wings I have ever ate. Some how the sauce ends up inside the wings. Perfect flavor. I hate that I had to move to Florida. Pizzas are good. Atmosphere is perfect. He cares about his customers

Being a 12 year old from Arizona I have never had a restaurant as good as Kostas. The food was amazing and service was outstanding. The owner was an amazing person and had the most heartwarming personality and treated us as family. We got a pizza and mild wings as well as mozzarella sticks and Kostas fries. The pizza was great and so we're the wings. The mozzarella sticks were awesome and the Kostas fries were outstanding fresh and homemade and greatly seasoned. Overall I recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This is definitely a Hidden Gem I've been getting pizza here for as long as I can remember and the owner is quite the riot always in a good mood Don't Worry Be Happy!!!!One of his Greetings he is just an all-around hard-working Bussiness Owner Who takes pride in what he puts out the food is phenomenal you've got to try the Special Pizza the Kosta fries and the wings....all are top shelf as well as his Gyros best in central New York as far as I'm concerned just read his other followers keep up the good work Buddy thanks again for putting out a great pie!!Theres very few people...the hard-working taking pride in what you do and the Product you put out left on this planet... definitely not your cookie-cutter coprate pizza place give him a try...You won't be disappointed and the prices are more than fair along with their portions.Thanks for putting out such a great product all these years
