Had a delightful lunch here. Great food, atmosphere and service. We had a delicious salad with hearts of palm and avocado. The soup of the day was lentil. It was a perfect soup for a damp day. The main was a roast pepper ravioli and a spaghetti with wild boar sausage. Cappuccino for dessert was nutty and with perfect foam. Service was warm and the place is easy on the Eyes.

WOW. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since. We had the alla Buttera with gf penne and Lamb Ragu with gf gnocchi. They were able to make both gluten free easily, and I was beyond impressed with both. Cathryn’s has a vast wine selection, and there were many options to pair well with the meal. The waiter was so friendly, and the atmosphere is beautiful at night. There’s a reason this place is packed- it was a really lovely and memorable experience, cannot recommend highly enough.

Service was excellent. Staff were all helpful and courteous. Everything we ordered was wonderful. We ordered the squid ink pasta , venison, mussels, and oysters. Of all these, the venison really stood out. It wasn’t gamey and the reduction was a perfect companion. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a place to eat.

Amazing service and amazing food.

Came here after a hike and ready to eat. They had gluten free pasta and was understanding of celiacs. Portion size were a bit small for the pastas, but still pretty filling.

If you can get a window seat, great place to people watch as well. Definitely recommend if you have celiacs or a gluten allergy!

Enjoyed meals her often over 7 years. It’s always very good food. The waitstaff knows their stuff and the atmosphere is always enjoyable, dim warm lights. I typically get a fish dish.

Came here for dinner and they do take walk ins. We were seated right away. The food is good. We had the specials of the day, cod and rack of lambs. The cod comes with mushrooms and grape tomatoes. The lamb is juicy. Both the cod and lamb comes with green veggies, carrots, and mash potatoes. We also got the half a dozen of raw oysters. It taste better with the cocktail sauce. This place does take card payment. We also had the tiramisu and the lemon targuto. The place was celebrating their 25th anniversary.

Food was very delicious. We had the lamb patties for appetizer and the vitelo for main. Both were very good. For dessert, we had the apple cake and the chocolate mousse cake. Both were amazing. Service was efficient and kind (although it was a slow night). In sum, all was good. A bit pricey, though.

Love this place! Portions are on the smaller side compared to the typical Italian spot, but everything tasted amazing.

Their insalata glorioso was summery, bright, and just lovely to have as a starter.

I also took a chance on one of their specials and am happy I did! Boar sausage and broccoli rabe with thin spaghetti. The sausage itself was excellent and the whole dish was delicious without making me feel heavy afterwards.

Some may consider this place pricey for the portion sizes but I know quality when I taste it. Would 100% come back here again!

Food was great! Loved the pasta, tried some of the salmon scrambled eggs too which were also delicious 😋

Would recommend making a reservation if you plan to go, not required as we did not have one for a table for 2, but it was very busy and we were lucky!

Charming restaurant in the heart of Cold Spring. Food & service was excellent. I came in with a group of 12 & were seated at 2 lovely tables in the Garden. They were very accommodating and were able to give us separate checks. We cleaned our plates, it was yummy!

Two words: lamb ragu (with gnocchi… so 4 words?).
We came here on a weekend away for our anniversary and had such a lovely meal we came back a second night for the same exact pasta dish. The waiters are kind and attentive, a very extensive wine list, and the meal was phenomenal.
Started with the mushrooms and prosciutto which was a perfectly surprising pair.
The salmon was light and lovely.
The lamb ragu with gnocchi was our favorite!! Could have had a second bowl.

My favorite restaurant in Cold Springs! Whenever I visit family in Garrison, I have to come to this place. I've tried plenty of dishes here, but my favorites are the squid ink shrimp pasta, veal, and duck dishes! Don't forget to ask what specials they have.

Very nice atmosphere, delicious food and perfect service. I will definitely visit again in case I will be around. I really appreciate that the were very flexible with my daughters menu.

We really enjoyed having lunch here! The staff is so kind and knowledgeable. Food was hot and delicious.

Enjoyed a wonderful & memorable dinner here with my husband. The spaghetti caccio e pepe was legit and classic - none of that goopy sauce business, just freshly grated cheese. The fettuccine con fiori di zucchini was so flavorful and well-balanced. We enjoyed some nice wines and the grillo is A+. Dessert? Oh man, the upside-down pineapple cake will blow your mind. They’ve clearly put care into the decor/atmosphere of the place - dim but warm lighting with pretty things to look at. Shout out to Dan, our incredibly fun server that night. Looking forward to another meal here next time I’m in Cold Spring. Thanks guys!!

Had the sweetest waitress Emma and the food was delicious. I had the salmon with brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. The chefs made an excellent meal. The cheesecake was delicious too.
