An unexpected delight in every possible way‼ For my 80th birthday three generations took four rooms (entire first floor) and was best happiest multi- generational holiday. The hosts are like the family you dream about, welcoming, warm, smart, extremely service driven, literally drove out to get a specialty order cake; oh so generous beyond measure. The spacious immaculate rooms with the best beds we (well traveled) have ever experienced.
There is no way to over-praise this family enterprise which makes you feel their inn is yours. Literally. An exquisite holiday. Upon checking out, one feels as if leaving
dear friends/family but taking home the happiest of memories.
We can’t wait to visit again and again and again.

A delightfully cozy place to stay! Squeaky clean rooms, warm and welcoming hosts, a cute little family enterprise. And downstairs, the attached cafe has fresh warm sandwiches. Just the thing for a rainy day, or to energize you before a hike. I recommend the veggie monster or the gyro sandwich!

The river is just minutes away by foot, and you can browse the stores on Main Street along the way. Cold Spring is a lovely place to visit to be quiet, relax, and meander leisurely, and the Cold Spring Hotel & Cafe is a great place to stay while you’re here.

This place is absolutely amazing! The hospitality offered here is something that is hard to find. The food at the cafe is delicious and very filling. Jimmy treats you like you are a part of his family and accomodates for everything. Definitely stop in here while in town!

I recently stayed at the Cold Spring Hotel and Cafe and appreciated how wonderful Jimmy was to work with. The location is a short walk from the Metro North train station, and the rooms are priced well. It's a cozy spot conveniently located near plenty of shops, activities and restaurants and is above a cafe if you need a quick bite. Thanks for having us!

Quiet clean and just as cozy as the town it's in. Just a 10 minute walk from the river with easy accessibility to everything on main street. A perfect place to stay for a nice relaxing getaway.
The staff is warm, friendly and hospitable to everything you could want. Great snack selection and coffee. As a returning guest, it feels like home each time.

Absolutely loved my stay! My girlfriend and I were spending the weekend kayaking and happened upon this place and it ended up being fantastic. Jimmy and the entire staff was super hospitable, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the food was simple and good.

Jimmy, Mona, Adam, and Frank of course are the best in the business when it comes to hospitality. Family atmosphere here!!! Superb food on site. Guests at hotel get 50% off. Really don’t need to eat elsewhere. There is ice cream and pizza next door which is pretty good too. This should be your place to stay. If you’re heading over to West Point or in the surrounding area definitely will not be disappointed.

Some of the best service I’ve ever received. Incredibly professional staff, fantastic coffee and inviting atmosphere. Would highly recommend to a friend.

Cold Spring Hotel is a great place to spend a night (or a week) in this quiet little town. It's right on the aptly named Main Street, which is the major road that cuts through Cold Spring. Places to eat, charming boutique shops, and the waterfront are all a short walk away. Plenty of local parking.

We had a wonderful stay, Jimmy was extremely accommodating. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

There is a little cafe in their lobby where you can grab a bite to eat or something to snack on.

This was my first time in his lovely town of cold spring and this establishment made me feel welcome. Whenever I needed something they were always on it right away. The coffee in the morning really gave me a great start to the day and the chicken sandwiches are to die for. The air conditioning always rejuvenates me after being in the hot sun. Overall 10/10 experience at the Cold spring hotel.

Second time staying here, the rooms are comfortable and very clean. The staff is friendly and the owner is very attentive, always makes sure you have everything you need. The location is perfect is right on Main Street along with all the stores and cafes. I will be staying here every time I come to Cold Spring, NY.

"Welcome Home"... that's exactly what this is, home away from home. Jimmy and his wonderful family from wife to daughter to son make you feel right at home. The atmosphere is beautiful and the rooms are each unique and set up different where you feel like you're home and not a hotel. Private bathroom with the essential amenities and Jimmy is always a call away. Let's not forget the hidden cafe GEM within the hotel and for the public. The pressed paninis hit the spot for that break and lunch right before you head out. Snacks/water and coffee available for guests, everything you need. Definitely coming back, hint hint book with Jimmy to avoid those insane charges on sites!

We had an absolutely wonderful time... very grateful to Jimmy for setting us up such a wonderful stay. The room and bathroom were very clean and cozy and the bed was perfectly comfortable. He went over and above to set us up with "provisions" like snacks and hot chocolate! It really was a wonderful stay, and a perfect location; we were able to wake up and walk right out to town to enjoy the shops and restaurants. It was the perfect trip and highlighted by having the perfect place to stay!! Thank you!!

Such a great little hotel right in the Main Street! Our host, Jimmy, was such a great guy. So welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable. The shower was good. He offered coffee and tea throughout the day.
Pro-tip: if you are in the first bedroom on the first floor, turn the shower head towards the wall before turning the water on, or you'll get a soaked bathroom.

Welcoming and comfortable! Best accommodations and pricing in Cold Spring. Jimmy was outside on the cafe "deck" greeting neighbors and passersby when I arrived. He and his wife were so helpful and kind throughout my weekend stay. I felt spoiled, or at least treated like family. 😊

Room 1 was large and beautiful. Everything is remodeled with attention to detail. The shower was luxurious. I will absolutely return.

Every time I come Jimmy and the staff are extremely welcoming and treat us like family. By far the best environment for work or vacation. The cafe has a great selection and the gyros are amazing!

Cozy comfortable rooms, with complimentary water & snacks. Location is super convenient, upstairs over the cafe right on Main Street in the middle of town. Jimmy and the staff are super friendly. They gave me 50% off dinner from the cafe, I had the Caprese panini which was great.

Jimmy is an AMAZING host and this is a wonderful place to stay. Clean, comfortable, modern rooms with air conditioning and it's right in the middle of everything on Main St. Not even a five minute walk from Metro North. I had stayed here about a month ago and loved this place and Cold Spring so much that I went back to stay for another night. Booking over the phone is easy and the recommended way to request and pay for a room.

HIGHLY recommended and I can't commend Jimmy enough for being such a friendly and fantastic proprietor. I've stayed here twice and intend to go back again and again!

A great little hotel run by a friendly man and his family. The location is right in the middle of town with an ice cream, pizza parlor, yarn shop, and breakfast restaurant literally right next door (or across the street). The rooms are nice with individual character and everything is in tip top shape. The owner also runs a small restaurant downstairs with great sandwiches, and the prices are cheap compared to the rest of the food in town (which can get kinda pricey). Parking was never an issue. If my husband and I ever come through town again, we’d stay here no questions asked.
