D. YANNITELLI FINE WINE AND SPIRITS

Yanitelli's wine shop is a family run store that is 4 generations owned. They are always very nice to deal with. Also if they don't have a wine you like, they can order it for you. They have a very nice selection of spirits as well. When I have bought Bourbon from them, they asked how I was going to drink it and they said that my cocktail recipe sounded good. They are always very welcoming as soon as you walk in the door.

These people saved the day! It was my friend’s wedding day and due to a last minute change of plans we found ourselves at the venue preparing for the ceremony with no champagne or wine. We called this liquor store looking for a quick delivery and the man on the phone was so nice and recommended some affordable options within our price range and had them delivered to us, literally, within minutes. Wouldn’t even accept a cash tip for the delivery. We had much more fun thanks to them. Highly recommend!

Stopped here on a trip upstate to pick up two bottles. Walked out with a case (and saved too!). This proprietors knowledge, selection of Italian and French wines and prices are a great find. Do yourself a favor and make a trip here. It's one of (if not "the") longest continuously open wine stores in New York state. They have the state retail licenses to prove it.

Donnie steered us to a great inexpensive wine and then gave us a priceless recommendation for dinner - Richie’s Little Place in Ft Montgomery. Donnie met us there promptly at the appointed time and we stepped back into the 1950’s at Richie’s Place. Had a cut of the best prime rib of all time. Thanks very much to Donnie for making our trip even more memorable! Thanks again Donnie - can’t wait to come back…

We were at Westpoint for a funeral with our Moms ashes to be joined with our Dads. With one day left before we leave we drove to Cold Spring. On the way back to our hotel we stopped at this wine store. As an absolutely fortunate thing happened we walked in and only wanted one bottle of wine we were met with the owner Don. He steered us amongst hundreds of bottles of wine to the chilled house wine that only cost us 10.00 and was perfect for our last night in town. But what else he did was steer us to the secret to tourists of the town Little Richard’s for the fantastic prime rib. We met Don and enjoyed a memorable dinner at the bar with a man that we will remember forever.,Don the owner of the wine store. Wine and Spirits owned by Don Yannitelli. Have been shopping at YANNITELLI'S for years. They are very helpful and courteous. They know their wines and can suggest choices that you might like for either yourself or for a gift.

I visited this store for the first time this summer looking for some bourbon and was very pleased with the customer service. They have a nice little selection and the owner, noticing I was a new customer, gave me a small bottle of local whiskey for free to try. I saw that other reviewers were upset with the service here but this was not my experience at all. I highly recommend giving this local wine store a shot if you are in the area.

Large selection of excellent wines and spirits. The older gentleman that assisted me was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

This store is always well stocked. I always find what I’m looking for and the staff is kind and helpful - not sure why the other reviewers are complaining! Prices aren’t bad in my opinion.
