Hillsdale Shopping Center

So glad that this shopping mall was renovated over the past few years. The new shopping areas are clean and beautifully designed, including a large indoor food court area that’s significantly better than before, along with several new restaurant additions.

Classic and classy mall.
Large with many wonderful stores, huge new cinema, places to eat both inside and outside.
Food court includes composting and two height levels for handwashing.
And how many malls can boast Bufano sculptures?

Improvement needed for accessible parking spaces. Difficult to find in the parking structure.

I have been living in the Bay Area throughout my life and never heard of this mall before. I clearly don’t understand why nobody talks about or go to this mall, but this is one of the best malls to go to in my opinion.

The mall has a very nice dining terrace where there are plenty of good food places to go to. As usual, they have Cheesecake Factory, Uncle Tetsu, and Panda Express. The design of that area pars with the one from Westfield Valley Fair Mall since to its modern design.

Next to it is the exterior side of the mall. This is better than the one from Westfield Mall at Valley Fair because it has a bigger space for people to hangout and a place for children to play on the grass.

There are good shops to go to such as Hot Topic, Macy’s, Apple Store, Zumiez, and GameStop. I am surprised that some shops sell anime products, which is something that doesn’t come across as usual.

I highly recommend this mall to anyone who lives in San Mateo or closer to that city. There is plenty to do here!

Hillsdale Shopping Mall has been a delightful experience every time I visit. From its diverse selection of stores to its impeccable cleanliness, it's evident that this mall prioritizes customer satisfaction. Whether I'm looking to shop, dine, or simply stroll, Hillsdale consistently delivers. Kudos to the management and staff for maintaining such a top-tier shopping environment. A must-visit in San Mateo!

Very nice and clean mall a lot of shopping and food

A must see store when you are at Hillsdale Shopping Center. The Sock Harbor located on the first floor right in-front of Kiehls is a one stop shop for your gift giving ideas. The store has lots of fun sock prints and themes, fun slippers, Stance products, college team socks l, sports socks, dog magnets, souvenirs, name it 😊

This is unequivocally unique and the best mall in all of San Mateo County. There are every kind of store looking 👀 for. Its diverse and has huge collection of stores, outstanding atmosphere to spend time with your family and loved ones. Safe environment with multiple options. It does attract a lot of tourists too and lately affordable and friendly place. Big department stores like Macys, Nordstrom Highly recommended

We went to Winner Winner for dinner and has some great fried chicken sandwiches and loaded fries. The portion size was generous and the cook on the chicken was really good. We also tried the quarter chicken which was well seasoned and equally delicious. Staff was really friendly and welcoming. Food came out fast

Has a nice public open square near Jamba juice and Apple store, for kids to play, and many chairs/ tables. We had short birthday cake function there too and friends enjoyed it.

Shop till you drop. So many good stores and places to eat. The outdoor area in front of the Apple store is great for families with small children who need to run around.

Shopping mall with modern renovation near the food court.

This is a great "everything at your finger tips" shopping center. It has all your stores that you need to do a complete day of shopping. I did not get a chance to go to every single store, but the ones I visited were perfect for my needs.

Great shopping mall well clean and neat👍👍. Nice to see all the stores are open again 👌👌. Also nice to see all the security gards 🧑‍✈👩‍✈👨‍✈👩‍✈ and police officer 🚔🚔 around to keep it safe. Great spacious food court 🥗🥙🍲🥘🍛.

Great time for lunch and a stroll. Holiday decorations are up early, so it's very festive. New build out and outdoor plaza hit the nail on the head

Wow I really like this mall I walk it all enjoyed the food court. Got me some shoes at the walking store like the area it's location. Lots other place to eat at . The court area Amazing the Fire place's to keep you warm just outstanding place a must visit.. ate at humburger place Brooklyn Hamburgers it good. Order the Golden State double burger and fries and a shake. It's a good burger to say. Fresh off the grilled hot. Its was a good visit ate outside in the court yard cause no room inside the restaurant it's very busy place. Oh the water jams to the beat of the music. Awesome

I love to shop around in this place. It's not crowded. Parking was easy.

Perfect mall with all the stores I need for the family. Macy's, Nordstrom, Gap, Uniqlo, H&M, plus a newly remodeled food court that has all upscale dining. Plus movie theater, bowling alley, escape room, VR game room. Parking can get crazy though.

Big Beautiful Mall. Nice ambiance. You will find most of your favorite Brands here. You could spend one whole day shopping 🛒

Ever since this mall was renovated, it has a great modern look. It was quite busy when I was there, which proves that the renos helped attract more people to the mall. There was a good variety of shops; not just clothing stores. Great place to hang out with friends.
