Super delish. A highlight for coffee and pastries in Blacksburg, VA

We shared a large breakfast sandwich and some baklava. I bought a Lebanese pastry with spinach and feta. Everything was so good!

We didn't have time for a beverage but the selection was quite good (Bourbon CaramelChai, Red Velvet Latte etc.). I'd return. Highly, highly recommend.

Love this place!!! SUCH cute decorations, plenty of seating. Great vibes, I love hanging out here to meet with people or do homework. Every drink I’ve tried has been so yummy. The employees are super kind and personable too!

Love this place! The coffee is great. When I go I typically ask for my baked goods unheated because their microwave kinda overdoes it. Their sweets are delicious and I love to buy them for my friends!!

Great coffee shop! Love the Middle Eastern decor which also makes the interior more cozy. The mocha and latte flavors are amazing! And if you want something other than your average coffeeshop pastry, this is the place to go, esp. if you like Middle Eastern flavors. Of course they have a more traditional menu too.

Halwa Bakery & Cafe in Blacksburg has a wonderful atmosphere and some of the best baked goods around. The cafe is cozy and welcoming, perfect for enjoying a treat. Their pastries and cakes are top-notch, full of flavor and beautifully made. It's a great spot if you're looking for tasty baked items in a friendly setting.

The greatest coffee shop I think I've ever frequented. Massive menu with loads of customization and diverse flavors. Cozy atmosphere, perfect for studying. Delicious pastries, great service, baristas are always nice. Never had a bad experience ever.

I hope this place stays a Blacksburg staple for a long long time.

Such a cute little cafe! The employees were very nice and gave me a good recommendation for a sandwich when I couldn't decide on what to get. I also had the pleasure of trying a candy apple latte and MAN was it delicious! I'll be back to this location soon to try their other fall treats!

Very authentic and friendly place. I like variety of pastry & drink choices. Pastries are fresh and delicious. Many seating areas and parking was easy.

My husband and I love it here. Small gem in Blacksburg. The staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, the salted vanilla chai with oatmilk is fantastic so is the date latte for something less sweet. They will make you any of the many things on their menu with variations you like. The pastries are great and the baklava is real authentic delicious, tastes like a family recipe. Highly recommend this place!! The Arabic influence here is very cool as well it feels cultural and welcoming at the same time like everyone is welcome which my husband and I adore. You guys are doing great!! One of the best coffee shops in Blacksburg!

I've been to Halwa a few different times since it's opened and I always enjoy my time there.

I've had their regular coffee and cappuccino, both of which are pretty good.

The atmosphere, I think is the best out of all the coffee shops in Blacksburg. It has nice comfortable seating and just a good aesthetic overall.

Always recommend!!

Update: they serve Counter Culture coffee which is tremendous coffee. 10 stars!

One recommendation too: I would add a standing desk portion to dining area along the window portion.

Really nice coffee shop in downtown Blacksburg with a bakery and a variety of coffees. There are couches along the wall, extension cords on the floor for easy charging, and a good number of tables. My only regret: open till 9pm only.

Some of the best baklava I’ve ever had! Bigger than expected portion, flakey and delicious. I recommend the Nutella latte too.

Fantastic shop!!! I love the Turkish coffee and the quiche. The store has a homey vibe and the people who work here are very nice. The Wifi is quick and the playlist is good

Love Halwa! Their food is unique and delicious. Love the lattes, desserts and cakes. I had a custom cake made a while back and it was perfect- so beautiful and delicious!!

Such a beautiful decoration with comfortable seating. The night lights are so wonderful. Great coffee, smoothie, and desserts!! I am not an avid coffee drinker but it is my go to place when I want some hot coffee in cold weather.

Absolutely delicious coffee shop with so many options to try as well as the classics. I had a salted vanilla iced latte and it was perfect! The cashier was also very sweet and the interior of the Cafe is beautiful.

A pleasant mid-day Sunday experience. A single employee managed about 15 different guests with pleasant, efficient, and friendly energies. The food and beverage was perfect.

halwa is great for studying and their coffee tastes ok too. their service is great and if you dont mind the noise, it can be really good for doing work. their wifi is solid and you can usually find a table available for working here.
