Riverside Doctors Hospital Williamsburg Emergency Department

Amazing staff! Everyone was very friendly, fast, knowledgeable, and even helped keep our child occupied when he was running around causing mayhem. You can tell everyone there enjoys their job and works as a team, which is a sign of a great work environment and a high functioning team.

The doctors and nurses really took time with me to make sure I was well cared for. Dr. Donaldson sat down with me and took time to see what my concerns were

Every person we saw was smiling, interested, and trying to help. They are well trained as a unit. Every person knew their part, was ready to use their tools, and responded quickly and correctly. The level of professionalism was extraordinary !

My daughter was in excruciating pain she had a pulled muscle. We are here visiting from out of state. I was very impressed- I was in and out in less than 45 min. Nurses, doctor, and front entry reception were all fantastic!

I went to this ER for vomiting and dizzy they were very nice and fast the dr gave medication and listened to what i had to say great hospital

Took my daughter to the ED due to a cut on her forehead. While I understand the triage score is very low for this type of injury, it took over 2 hours to be called back and spent another 20-30 min in a room. The staff were nice and friendly but incredibly slow. I guess they don't have a fast track at this location. Long story short, left ama and steri stripped the cut myself( which in hindsight is should have done from the start.)

The PA I saw and our nurse were kind. I had to have an emergency ultrasound and did not appreciate hearing the ultrasound technician complaining about coming in on the weekend for a non-emergency. No matter the stage of pregnancy, a loss is a loss. It should not be treated as an inconvenience to do your job. I also heard the staff discussing my bloodwork and urine results before anyone even came in to talk to me. I think we often get into a routine at work and forget that people are people and not just another body to get in and out the door.

Very unprofessional personnel, and the doctors dont give a damn about your problem. I got sent to ER from urgent care after they did an x-ray and read that I have a partially collapsed lung. After coming to ER, the doctor raised an eyebrow as if i couldnt have it because of its rarity and proceded to make another x ray. He came back and he said "your lung is fine, just take ibuprofen, clearly the doctor from before doesnt know how to read an X ray." I tried explaining him that i want further tests, but he gave me some useless arguments that the tests would affect me more than i am affected now. I still have chest pains
