Overall: 5/5 great place to chill and relax. Right near the docks to see the small boats come in. Lots of outdoor seating, great selection, and always events to do.

Food: 5/5 fantastic selection of beers. They have flights that you pick four, and try out their different varieties.

Atmosphere: 5/5 get place to check out. A little out of the way from other things, but they make it worth while with all the events they put on.

Service: 5/5 great crew that help you pick the best beer you would want to try.

We were waiting for our tire to be fixed across the street after snagging a nail and it turned out to be a happy accident that The Virginia Beer Company was across the street.

We happened to be there on a Sunday and had a great time while waiting for our tire to be fixed. There was live music, a food truck, and good beer. My friend had the flight and her favorite was the Oktoberfest. I stuck with a mountain dew for the drive.

The food truck was also phenomenal! It was some of the best pork belly I've had since moving from Hawaii. Loved the mixture of Korean, BBQ, and of course tacos. We all wolfed down all our food and I only wish i was closer to get more of that Mac n cheese.

Would absolutely stop if you're in the area but maybe skip the flat tire.

Thos was our first time checking this place out. I must have driven by 100 times, and missed a truly amazing establishment. We arrived on a partly rainy day, 15 min after they opened and tables we already filling up. .the local selection of offerings will definitely be bringing us back. The variety of food trucks is a great option. We tried 2 flights, very reasonable in price and size. We sampled a total of 8 and now have three favorites. The live music and theme nights will give us plenty of "excuses" to make this our new place to be. Service was top notch and friendly !! Amazing team here.

Absolutely love this local brewery! The staff is friendly and helpful. You can check the website for the food truck schedule. We bring games and our kids and just relax. The beer tastes great and is constantly rotating. You won't regret checking them out!

Been living here a year and seriously, this is the best brewery! Trivia, 5k runs, and just because fun!

Watched them clean up broken glass with no attitude and they are incredibly kind!

Still our favorite local brewery!

I have beed going to VBC for a while and I love the beer, always have a few interesting special beers on tap. I do have my favorite that is always there. Not only is the beer great the staff is just as amazing, they take the time to get to know us locals and what we like to drink. Nothing better than getting a nice warm welcome and a great cold beer.

Absolutely wonderful experiences there every time we go. The staff is so kind and thoughtful. The owners are incredible. And the beers are wonderful!

Delicious beers, great customer service, and fun atmosphere. Being local we try to come as much as we can. Our favorite beers in town. Tonight we were able to bring our dogs with us for the first time and the patio was the perfect location for us to hang out. They always have a good selection of food trucks rotating through. Today was Hangrys and we had a delicious Mac n cheese grilled cheese. Paired perfectly with the Evil Santa flight we had. Be sure tobget here before the holidays end to try the final two varieties! Not to be missed if you like stouts.

Stopped in for the Get CHEESEY food truck. Plenty of parking, beautiful outdoor patio . Pleasant helpful staff. I had the classic grilled cheese and it was super. I pass by all the time during the week and see a new food truck daily. I'm super glad I stopped today. Definitely recommend and will return!!

Somehow the name "Virginia Beer Company" hadn't been taken yet when these folks founded the company several years ago.

It's a great taproom location with many different options, and a great flight of 8 pours for $15 at the time of review. $15 is a bit steep, but that there is a fight option at all is great since it's becoming more and more difficult to find a breweries who offer that.

Kudos to the staff who are on point, even with a crazy busy space on a Sunday night!

Great atmosphere and good beer. Food is not served inside, but they have food trucks on the regular. Though I sivisit regularly I make sure I do back every fall/ winter for the Evil Santa.

Good place for beer. It has the brewery aesthetic, and lots of neat games inside. Food truck outside had good food. Got a free sticker from an inside connection - don't expect the same! Lots of new releases all the time. A good place overall.

Friendly bartenders and a nice atmosphere. Beer is great and served well. We've been a couple times now and will continue visiting.

Great beer, friendly staff. Would love for them to block the road view with some trees or something like Smoke in Newport News does. Still one of the places I go to hang out. Food trucks are hit or miss love when they have good ones. Not a deal breaker though because I can bring food or uber eats it. Glad they seem to have gotten rid of food attitude that guy was really unfriendly. I love trying the new beer options they always have some fun flavors.

Nice place to hang out and have couple of diff local beers! Would definitely recommend and visit again when in Williamsburg! On top we enjoyed nice peanuts from local vendor! I usually by peanuts from Whitley’s Peanut Factory!

Chill/clean/friendly setting, excellent beer and selection, awesome staff, and an owner who cares about his team while fully integrating with his customers. I’ll be back - thirsty! Oh yeah - great options for folks who don’t drink alcohol as I enjoyed the Sprecher ginger ale and cream soda.

Great space!

This place has a lot of space. They have indoor and outdoor patio seating. They have live music and an Octoberfest event. There is a food truck there as well. They have a lot of IPAs and offer $12 flights. Very friendly staff! I would come back.

As always, awesome and amazing beers! Free Verse with mango orange is out of this world!!
