Updated October 8, 2022 - Still a 5 star experience. Loads of Fall & Halloween goodies. Great selection of meats (fish too.) Not too crowded for a Saturday morning. Love this store. Wish it was closer. We drive from Providence Forge in New Kent County; about a 30 minute drive. But, it's worth it.
Updated January 2023 - Remains 5 star. Best supermarket for meats. Everything sold here is fresh. Worth the trip.
Updated August 2023 - Remains 5 star. Little later going today. Steaks and fish were limited. Go early for better selection. Autumn candies in stock. Plenty to choose from.

The Fresh Market has a great selection of produce! You will find nicely organized aisles and spectacular deals

Dave in meat department is most accommodating.

This is such a clean pretty store. The prices are higher than some places but they have good weekly sales. Recommend the banana bread and rotisserie chicken. I believe Thursdays you can get two for one nut breads. They also have a really good rotisserie chicken meal with corn biscuits and two sides.

Pricey but convenient. Beautiful deli, but out of my price range. Incredible fresh-baked bread.

I would not use them for my weekly grocery shopping because of the high prices. However, the quality and atmosphere are awesome and it’s a nice change over the typical grocery store.

says! More than 50% of their merchandise is FRESH & Quality ! If you look at my reviews , most of the time if my review missing star is cuz of the prices, but this this time no ! One of the places on my list where you pay for what you expect/get! Their salad bar, pastries, hot&cold food plus all meats and Salmon Cakes :)

Love fresh market!!!!! Awesome fresh wraps, coffee beans, cannoli, desserts and bread. Their meat section is great too.

I have decided to purchase all of my Christmas and New Year meals at Fresh Market. The meat and produce are exceptional.

Fresh Market's Meat Department is the best. I have been purchasing all my meat products here for many years -- the meat, poultry, and fish are the best. Dave is a professional butcher in the meat department. Dave helped me with a large purchase over the holidays -- there were lots of people in line, but Dave never rushed me. The best part was how he volunteered to trim up the standing rib roasts! Big Shout Out to the Fresh Market store, but especially Dave for his great service!

This fresh market is absolutely amazing. We talked to Scott about seafood and fresh produce. Very knowledgeable and you can tell he truly enjoys giving his experience and recommendations. Gerry the manager walked us to the wine section and gave his recommendations based on our preferences and what we were looking for. Again, Gerry was very engaging, and knowledgeable about any questions we had. The best customer service I have ever had at any store. We will make the longer trip to this fresh market simply based on the customer experience we had.

Sarah, the manager of the bakery department, went entirely out of her way to help me with an issue I had with an order!!
She seriously deserves a raise!! Awesome customer service with great kindness! I really appreciate all the help to my many questions too!! Stores like these are always better with employees like Sarah!

Always a great store (no matter what state I'm in). Always fresh and good. They only downside was that had nothing other than Mustard for condiments. How do you sell meals or anything that requires condiments without them? Anyhow we made it work. Would still recommend this store.

Great selection of specialty foods, beverages and beer plus wine.

A little on the pricey side, but worth every penny. Staff is always friendly, amazing selections of so many varied items, I love to browse. Fresh Market is just a delightful experience!

Extremely clean and organized. Fresh produce, quality cheeses, delicious pastries, high end meats for reasonable prices when on sale. Their nut and snack sections have such a great variety. Coffee, beans or ground, flavored or natural, all quality and tastes amazing. You will pay higher prices overall, but the staff, store, and products are worth it.

Dave in the meat dept. Is the best. He he very nice and helpful.

I love the service and the quality of produce, as well as meat, at this location. It's worth the money you spend. The flowers we purchase there are always the most lovely . I work in retail/food service, so I'm no stranger to rudeness. However, I haven't had a problem at The Fresh Market since I started shopping there. Most of the rudeness comes from the customers themselves, not the staff.
