The clam chowder was delicious. There is limited seating but we had no problems getting one. The restaurant also sells their concentrated canned clam chowder for 7.50 a can.

Made the 2 hour drive from Tallahasssee just to try the Clam Chowder. It is amazing. Great service as well. They had to do a huge re build since the hurricane so the menu is limited for now.

Delicious clam chowder!! Cute little town. Quite expensive for the amount of chowder you get, but worth it to help cover the cost from the storm damage.

TONY’S is a regular stop for us. We can’t come to Cedar Key and not get some Clam Chowder. We’ve been up and down Florida and have had wonderful Clam Chowder from Marathon Key to Valdosta Georgia but Tony’s remains the bar that we measure against. It is our favorite. Their fish and shrimp are wonderful and we love the light batter. You have to come here if you visit Cedar Key!

I had a platter of unlimited clams and some fresh shrimp dishes. It was one of the best foods I ever had in Cedar Key. The clam chowder there is the best that I have ever tasted. Definitely worth visiting again. Our hostess was very warm and welcoming, she made sure that everything was good for us and we are happy.

Enjoyed an excellent delicious lunch at Tony's Seafood while visiting Cedar Key. The Clam Chowder is truly amazing and my best recommendation is to visit Tony's and try a bowl yourself! Words can't really adequately describe how delicious Tony's Chowder is.

Also enjoyed the Shrimp Roll which was equally amazing.

The clam chowder really IS 5 ⭐s. We drove 3 hours from Kissimmee to Cedar Key and had to stop in. Service was quick on a Thursday at 2:00pm, our waitress was friendly and attentive. My man got the chili dog with cheese and also gave it 5 ⭐s too. Hush puppies were delicious and so were the fried shrimp. Bummer that it closes at 3pm because I would’ve been back for more super come dinner time!

The best service I have ever received. The servers were amazing, friendly and attentive. Excellent food with great prices. They are well known for there clam chowder. It was well worth the 3 hour drive. We will return.

The best clam chowder on the island. We even took a quart to go. They offer hot, cold, or frozen. It’s a small restaurant but worth the wait. Highly recommend!

We drove an hour and a half for Tony's award winning clam chowder and it was well worth the trip! Misty was our server and she was very friendly and fun to talk with. The drive and scenery made for a great day trip. We visited during the off season, which for us is always a perk. A 5-star day for us!

I literally go out of my way to get this clam chowder. Many places claim to have the world best whatever, this place legit comes through and show why they earned those gold medals. I’ve never eaten anything else here but the chowder alone is worth a stop.

We bought a half gallon of chowder to take back to our condo. I’m a huge soup lover( most I make myself) but not really a clam chowder fan until now. OMG. This is amazing chowder!! We will be getting some frozen to take back home with us. Thank you!!

This is THE place to go for New England Clam Chowder. Hands down the best this native New Englander has ever had...and I've had a whole lot of clam chowder! Small place closes at 3 usually a wait.

Stopped here for lunch while we were staying Cedar Key bc of all the rave reviews!! It did not disappoint. Staff was super friendly. Claim Chowder was amazing (I am pretty snobby when it comes to Clam Chowder being from New England). Food was delicious. Highly recommend stopping here for lunch and then heading across the street to the little Coffee Cafe for chocolate covered Key Lime pie on a stick for dessert.

It must be true (the world champion stuff) because this is totally delicious clam chowder. Creamy with enough potatoes and clams to create the perfect consistency. I cannot remember the last time I ordered clam chowder and didn't add some black pepper and/or Tabasco and this needed neither!

Excellent chowder. We are moving around the island sampling a variety of places. We are not "foodies" but know good well balanced, innovative entree's when we experience them. We've had a lot of great food on the little side street establishments of Key West. The bit of spicy heat this chowder has really sets it apart from just being "comfort chowder" imho. Service was right at expectations also. They say Cedar Key is much like Key West 40-50 years ago, while I'm pretty well educated on the history of Key West I wasn't there so I really can't say but take "their" word for it I guess. If so it's been an interesting time travel so far this week.

Really good. It's a must stop if you're in cedar key.. I'm not even really a clam chowder fan, but my wife and I shared a bowl and it was delicious.The shrimp roll was also great and filling. They don't skimp.. Oh and the staff is super friendly. Next time we're in cedar Key we'll be back.

Absolutely delicious, of course you have to get a bowl of their clam chowder. Did you know they have it by the gallon to go? Totally going to get that and a long straw next time!

There’s a reason they won the Chowder Cook Off 3 times ! We rode from St Augustine to get chowder and we were not disappointed. Delicious to the last scoop. Perfect clams in every bite. Great comfort food for sure.
