Lil Shark Park

Great little park in Cedar Key. The park has restrooms, a pavilion, beach with swimming area, and a playground for the kids. Very relaxing escape. Worth checking out if visiting Cedar Key and you want to dip your feet in the gulf…be sure to bring aqua shoes.

Located in Cedar Key, Florida, a great place to eat, shop, stay for a while, was there for the Pirate Invasion a weekend long annual event. And if you're a fisherman, there's plenty of Redfish, Trout, for you to catch, I was camping near by at Shell Mound Campground, another great place, if you love to camp, Cedar Key is a very small town, but very nice people, great restaurants, and seafood 🦞

The playground is clean, and the people are great. The beach is right there, great for kids. Water isn't clear. the swim area is for kids who just wanna get wet.

What a fun little place. The beach itself is kind of small but it is surrounded by a cute little town, full of shops, and a few restaurants. There is a play area for kids and several launch ramps for boats. Public restrooms are clean and safe.

Best waterfront playground ever!! Kids have plenty of things to climb,spin and swing from. Adults have exercise machines and a beautiful view to sip coffee.

One of our favorite places to get away. Cedar Key is quaint and beautiful. All the locals are welcoming and the area is affordable. This lil park is particularly cute. A swing set for the kids and a small beach with plenty of shade. Give this spot a try, you'll love it here.

Cute lil beach and your dog can come swimming too. Cedar Key is an awesome hidden gem off the beaten path.

Over all a clean and cool lil place to let the kids play. Basketball court and play place 50ft from the ocean. Lots of places to pick and eat at if you get hungry. A lil expensive though so if you are on vacation I'd suggest a cooler and your own food. If you are wanting to try some sea food then this is the area.

The park at Cedar Key was cute, it has a full basketball court and about 4 grills. It has a covered Pavillion with about 6 tables underneath and a few other tables sitting around. Plenty of space to bring a tent and set up. The water was very warm. Clean bathrooms and friendly people.

New play equipment. People have small picnics. Family reunions. Renting kayaks. Dozens of kids swimming and playing. Screams. Laughter. Family togetherness. That's what life should be about. Ideal location on Main St/Second St. Adequate parking. Clean restroom facilities.

This park is great. It provides a playground with beach access. There are showers to rinse off the sand and restrooms too. I love the island relaxed climate of quaint Cedar Key! Go and takes the kids. The park offers picnic tables and grills. There was plenty of tables and benches even on this busy almost summer Saturday. Don't miss out on what Cedar Key has to offer in other areas either.

Plenty of equipment for kid to play on, basketball court and right on the small beach. Covered picnic tables, bathrooms and outdoor shower. Leashed pets allowed. Great place to watch fireworks on 4th of July.

Awesome park for younger kiddos. There are restrooms, showers, and covered picnic tables. Equipment is well maintained and beach is about 50 yards away.

Great beach town destination close to home - this area is perfect if you have little ones because they get a taste of the beach experience and then can hop over on the playground intermittently. Well kept facilities and the sand beach is easy on the feet. Bring sandals for the playground though- sand is mixed with mulch.

This is the best public beach on the island. We looked. Its small but adequate. Shallow water but can be a little muddy.
