Big Deck Raw Bar

This was one of our favorite restaurants in Cedar Keys. The food was good, the atmosphere is beachy and fun, and the prices are fair. They offer live music on certain nights.
The servers were nice and the food came out quick every time. I recommend the steamed clams and bbq chicken sandwich, the fries are good too.
Be cautious of the "flying teeth" bugs.

Visiting Cedar Key for the weekend & had lunch & drinks while supporting a musician from St Augustine. This is in the downtown area by the water & a nice place to enjoy the outdoor scenery & people watch. Food was fresh & tasty with great service. Was busy on a Sunday afternoon but our group of 6 got seated.

2023-12-09: I have been to Big Deck Raw Bar in the past and really liked the burger. The Big Deck Cheeseburger had a very good flavor and was a decent-sized burger. Olivia was the waitress and did a fantastic job keeping my drink filled after a long walk through a nearby preserve. There were a lot of Boat-tailed Grackles waiting for handouts.

Very reasonably priced drinks at this cool little outdoor bar. We enjoyed listening to live music at night. We also walked across the street to the sister bar, Liam and Madie’s. They have a huge selection of alcohol and really cool place to sit inside with air-conditioning. They have lots of games and unique decorations. Also, very reasonably priced drinks that are well-made. They also have a sweet cat that likes to hang out.

One of my absolutely favorite places to eat in Florida. This is old Florida to me, a claming town, this restaurant sits on the sound side. Very relaxed atmosphere. Not air-conditioned, but covered deck with huge fans. It was 98 degrees and we were very comfortable under the roof and fans. Highly recommend the steamed clams first. Butter and garlic and fresh opened clams. And the grilled Grouper sandwich is the best I have had in Florida, and I have lived all over the state of Florida.
All around great place to experience old school Florida and feel true tropical vibes.

Have dined here twice so far and love this little place. Servers are great, drinks are great and usually have music which is great. The food has not disappointed us both times. Really recommend this place to go on Dock Street for fun

Pulled into town. Never been here. 2 days on the road. Half starved. Treated like family. Grouper sandwich excellent. Po boy sandwich excellent. Old school Florida tiki outside bar one man piano player was good. Dogs welcome.

Love the vibe here. I wouldn’t say dive bar because no dive bar has this good of a bourbon selection. The beer easily matched the bourbon. It’s dog friendly which is important to us. It had some good live music as well. Would certainly put this on the list to come to again.

Really enjoyed our lunch here. The pig wings were amazing! Could of eaten 2 orders of that alone for my lunch! My husband got the steamed clams (liked them although they were sandy which is normal, I think) and I got the cheeseburger, which was pretty good. The curley fries were good as well. Server was so nice and the atmosphere was awesome!

Big Deck Raw Bar is one of favorite places to dine in Cedar Key, FL. They have a great selection appealing for the seafood lovers and the land lovers. They have a full bar and great selection of whiskey and scotches, as well as some great local beers.
The clams are fantastic for an appetizer and the shrimp po’boy is one of my go-to’s for lunch. If you want bigger portions they have dinner plates with more options and additional sides.
After fishing we stopped in and found some seats at the bar. The bar tender was awesome, kind, and always kept our drinks full and stiff. I ordered the crab cake sandwich for dinner and it was fire!

The bathrooms were super clean. And the music was great in the evening.

Stopped in today for lunch. I had a great salad with a fresh piece of grouper. My hubby got the grouper wrap and fries. Both meals were excellent! We loved our waitress as well. She was so sweet and on the ball.

Went there for a snack and was pleasantly surprised. Unique place with a relaxed vibe. I was hesitant about the loaded fries because it comes with ground beef and "veggies". The veggies were sautéed onions, peppers, mushrooms, banana peppers, and jalapeños. Holy s*** it was awesome. Curiously ordered the pig wings, and those exceeded expectations as well.

We love this place, it's our go to spot in Cedar Key. Great place to chill and have some adult beverages 😉

The perfect complement to the L & M Bar. Big Deck has the food and drinks, great outdoor seating, live music just off the water. L & M has awesome bartenders that can mix it up good any way you like it. The cats, Lawrence and Mort, are regular bar guests and make for great conversation peices and like to be loved on. Great places to people watch and enjoy all of Dock St.

Food was excellent. I got a crab cake sandwich with fries. My wife got a shrimp po boy with fries. It was less than $25 and more than enough food. Their menu is short and simple so dont expect tons of options. They only have 3 sides fries, potato salad, and cole slaw. Nothing fancy but absolutely delicious.

Our best experience yet. Lunch time on Wednesday the 29th... The servers were awesome. Beer cold & pig wings A MAZ ING !!!!!!! They are the reason we came. That & we love the ride on the Harley out here.. It makes it an even better ride when we can get our pig wing fix😊...... we will be back! Hopefully sooner than later😁

Probably best meal I've had there. Waitress was lovely, polite, kind, and efficient. Definitely will look forward to eating there again.
