Black Dog Bar & Tables

If your looking for a easy going cigar bar with the most craft beer offerings around, look no further. The owner TJ has out done himself here at the Black Dog. With a large draft selection from Stouts, IPA's, Porters, and Pale Ale's or a bigger selection in the bottle Black Dog has it. You can also sit and chill in a barber chair or in the couch. Oh yea did I mention the enormous wrap around patio. Do yourself a favor and get here.

Actually the Black Dog Bar occupies the bottom floor and a burger joint called Away From the World occupies the top floor and this is where we have gone twice so far. Restaurant is clean and has a great vibe, the wait staff is friendly and the burgers are fantastic! Great beer selection, too. They also have a wonderful outdoor deck that is puppy friendly and even have several puppy sammich selections on the menu. We will definitely be going back.

The hostess at Steamers told us yesterday that our party of five could not sit outside because there is only room for four and there was rain coming. We left and went to the Black Dog where we were welcomed with open arms even though they were closing in three minutes. They sat us outside and weather was perfect our entire stay. All the food was great also!

The Black Dog Bar & Tables in Cedar Key Florida is a cozy and friendly pub style Bar with a truly amazing selection of craft beers, a beer for every taste,and the staff is very knowledgeable about their selection of beers from around the world, oh and did I mention that they are uber friendly. The view from the deck looking out over the Gulf of Mexico is great, I truly enjoyed my experience there and sort of made it my official watering hole while I was vacationing there. I'm sure that anyone who visits Cedar Key Florida will also enjoy a visit to the Black Dog. Big thank you to TJ for making me feel welcome.......Cheers.

About the only place with a large craft brew selection. Solid cigar choices. Chill atmosphere. Engaging owner. Highly enjoyable.

Great spot for a large variety of beers in Cedar Key with Cornhole, darts, checkers, and chess. TJ is quite knowledge of his beer and great to talk to.

Really relaxing and fun. Sitting on deck overlooking water. The guys enjoy a cigar and cocktails. We love it!!
