Cedar Key Harbour Master Suites

Our stay at Harbour Master was wonderful. The room we got was called Corrigan's Reef and had a small balcony overlooking the Gulf and historic Atsena Otie Key. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was well maintained with all in working order. What impressed us most was there was no noticeable odor at all inside the room. The characteristic mustiness of many waterfront accommodations was not present here. Everything was so fresh and clean. My only critique was that checkout was extremely slow due to complicated reservations another customer was attempting to make. Maybe if Harbour Master got a second computer at the desk, another employee could have handled my check-out. Despite that, we would like to return and get the same room next year.

Service was extra mile and warm-- you can't beat Southern charm and hospitality.
We got in after hours and they left us very clear instructions and three emergency phone numbers.

Our room was spacious, clean, cozy and the view of the water was fabulous!

We dined right next door then sat out on our private balcony where the stars were breathtaking!

The king-sized bed was very comfortable! The sheets were pretty and so soft. My husband was tempted to steal a pillow! 😆

This was our second visit to Harbor Master Suites. I would not want to stay any where else. We stayed in the Pearl on this visit. WHAT A VIEW! These rooms are wonderful, comfortable, and are just divine. We’ve already booked our next visit in February. The service is great. This has become our weekend getaway. It’s special!

I've been coming to Cedar Key for nigh on 50 years and always felt Harbour Masters was out of my price range. Big Mistake! We chose this for our 20th anniversary directly on the gulf and it far exceeded all our expectations. The cleanest room we've ever stayed in anywhere, the best place to see dolphins, sunrises and sunsets and within walking distance of everything. Plan your visit carefully and way in advance- one night only 2 places were open for supper. Staff is friendly and helpful and on premise all day in the store below us. No fishing from your room but you can probably cast your bait from the city pier to your balcony.

Love this place. The views from Cedar Key are amazing and the little shops are fun.

I couldn't get over what we got for our money. The view was unreal. That being said, we probably got the best room (tropical tranquility). Beautiful, clean, spacious room. Watched the sunrise and sunset from our balcony. Loved everything about it. And also all the staff was very polite & helpful.

This place is amazing. Will definitely be staying here again soon.

What a great place for a weekend getaway! The amenities were excellent and comfortable, and the place was immaculate! The staff were so kind, helpful, and accommodating. We would definitely recommend staying here in Gulliver’s Rest!! However, on the weekends the Big deck bar and grill is across the street and they have live music until 11:30- midnight. You can hear it pretty good from the bedroom. I personally enjoyed listening to the music but if you go to bed early and are a lite sleeper then it may be an issue.

We have stayed at Harbor Master everytime we've visited Cedar Key, primarily in one of their stilt homes, and love it. This time we stayed in Gulliver's Rest, which is their largest room right on their property on Dock Street since our favorite stilt home was not available this time. The room was beautiful, clean and large but the noise at night from the bar across the street was terrible! It's the only place on Dock Street that's open til Midnight and the band played right up to the time. This is something that didn't even cross our mind when we booked. It would be a wonderful room to stay in during the week, but if you are not a late night person we wouldn't recommend this particular room on a weekend. We will stay at Harbor Master again, but wait for a room in the back or our favorite Lucky Catch stilt home.

The blue bungalow was perfect! Very clean. Nice decor. Watched the July 4th fireworks from the balcony. Everything was in walking distance.

This is a little piece of paradise. The gardens are perfect photo op and gorgeous. The rooms relaxing and beautifully decorated. The breakfast looked and smelled scrumptious, but for my husband, who is ever in a hurry to see and do more, did not allow for the delectable delights. Maybe next time.

Warmest welcome. We were shown our room "Forget me Not" which is all restful pastel blues. Lovely place, spectacular views and wildlife watching. Very private terrace with comfortable chairs for an evening glass of wine. The room was spotless and we were asked each morning if we needed anything or maid service. Thank you! Everything we needed was there for our stay. Wonderful gift shop with kind staff and lots of cute restaurants surrounding the suites.

This place was hands down the most amazing place I have gotten the pleasure to stay at, we stayed in "the gardens" room and it was absolutely beautiful, the pictures in the brochure don't do it justice at all! The hospitality was nothing less than perfect. The views, the accessibility to cedar key and dining were great. We could sit on the balcony and listen to the live band before going in and enjoying the most serene atmosphere. Not a doubt that we will be returning for a longer stay!

The staff here are top notch. Friendly and attentive. The room was spacious and cozy- slept like babies. Extra clean and we are booking our next weekend- came here for our 21rst anniversary. Kitchenette for eating in-washer and dryer!!!! Great places to eat within walking distance. ( drinks too ;) loved the sunrise and sunset. Great place to decompress and enjoy each other.- thank you for a great stay!!!!!!

Blue bungalow is great. Quiet, very clean and maintained, 2 minute walk to the party. Will rent again. Under house boat parking.

Beautiful, clean rooms and location! 2 couples in our group. 1 stayed in the tranquility and we stayed in Corrigans reef. Between 7:30 and 8 am and again around 3pm dolphins would be playing on the north side. You could film and watch from our balcony. Beautiful sunrises. If you go east to the end of block, you can see beautiful sunsets. You can Kayak, fish, shop, eat and drink. A lot of the island businesses close on Monday and Tuesday. We still found plenty open.

Had a wonderful stay here. The staff were great. The rooms are amazingly decorated and huge. We had our own private deck with a great view of the gulf and both sunsets and sunrises this time of year. They have a lot of really cool common areas to hang out and chat with other guests.

We stayed at Lucky Catch for a long weekend. Everyone we spoke with at Harbour Master Suites was super friendly and helpful! The unit was very clean and amenities aplenty. The porch was screened and I think we spent most of our time there! Great view of the sunrise! Everything was within walking distance for us which was great! We will definitely be back! Thank yall so much for helping make a great getaway happen!
