#4 Bridge Boat Ramp & Fishing Pier

Spent the day here fishing with husband and our boys. We loved it it was an amazing day just relaxing and fishing. Everyone on the pier is nice and friendly. Just a great place to go enjoy the scenery and relax. There is a porta potty style bathroom is you do end up needing to really go.

We love launching from here to go kayaking in Cedar Key. This Cedar Key fishing pier is before you get into town. The great thing about launching from here is that within 30-40 minutes (depending on wind) you'll find yourself on your own private beach - part of the Cedar Key Wildlife Refuge. The paddle can be a bit tricky depending on the tides - when the tide is low you really have to watch out for oyster beds. Make sure you wear some sort of water shoes in case you need to get out to pull your kayak if the water is low and you get stuck. Aside from that, though, this is a great place to paddle and spend an afternoon.

Awesome place to fish and hang out, we loved it! I hope to go back very, very soon!

I never get tired of watching the beautiful sunrise from here, boat launch is narrow so be careful but we usually launch here weekends not too busy lots of wildlife and some good fishing in the right spots from a boat or shore, nice long pair that you can fish from or just walk out and enjoy the view

Perfect place to launch a boat or kayak. Nice Pier to fish off of. Be ready for Catfish and anything else. Bring Chairs cause there's no place to set. And enjoy a day of fishing. Or Boating and Kayaking.

My husband and I visited this fishing area around 4pm on a Monday. Encountered about 7 people who were fishing near the end of the pier. There was 1 person in a boat hitching it to his buddy's truck when we arrived but no other boats. Nice first-time visit experience. My husband used their solar powered mini-outhouse and he said it was OK for #1, however if someone else needs to #2, not the place to do that (there's no running water available).
Fishing is was an outdoor activity, so people weren't wearing masks although we still were since the air was cold and the gaiters kept our necks warm. 5 more people arrived we were there and the pier had just enough space for everyone to keep social distancing guidelines in place. Everyone was fairly courteous and friendly. About two seagulls taking interest in the fishing, other than that, wildlife at a minimum.
We didn't catch any fish here but it was pleasant enough to want to return another day, much earlier than 4pm.

Super low tide and we still got out fine with 13' Boston Whaler. Quick access to great fishing. Not too many parking spots but we got one at 8:00 am.

Mid Fishing. Can catch small Rays, Whiting and croakers

This is the spot to catch the fish ..please don't come here , it is my spot and I dont want anyone here ..
If you do go please pickup your trash and don't be rude to others ...
Also watch for pilings when casting , you can lose your net on one of them. Be careful when reeling in many rocks to snag your lines on . Bring a licens for fishing when you are here .fish and wildlife officers check the lot often.

If a place can be beautiful because of the memories it holds, this is one of those places for me. Bring the family, wet a line, catch your dinner, and if you're lucky... make some memories of your own

We were amused by some teens who hooked a shark. They did a great job releasing it AFTER they got measurements and we got a video. A fun memory.

Good fishing from the pear be sure to bring good bug spray nats are pretty bad.
