Cedar Inn Motel

This is not a luxury hotel, and there is nothing fancy about it, but it's very relaxing, nostalgic, and authentic. It gives you a feel of Old Florida. And it's near the boat, landing and fishing piers, souvenir shops, bars, and restaurants. I'd stay here again.

Very nice small motel located on Cedar Key within short walking distance to restaurants and the Gulf of Mexico. We loved our stay, the rooms were very clean and the shower was fantastic! (Great pressure and hot water) AAAA++++

Clean, comfortable, easy walk to beach, shopping or dining. The hotel owner was so nice and very helpful. Already booked another stay!

This is such a great place to stay in Cedar Key, very clean, and walking distance to all the activities. The lady at the front office was very accommodating. Our room was ready early and she let me check on in , while I was just asking to park so we could walk the island. Book early,it is very popular 🥰

Cute, cozy, clean and comfortable rooms with a friendly staff available to assist! The cats were an added plus!

I Stayed here twice already and doing it again later on this week. Walking distance to everything and the lady who runs the place is very kind and does a great job keeping it up. Has a great cedar key vibe!

Owners are great. I can tell how hard they work just from my brief interactions with them! This hotel is the perfect way to immerse yourself in Old Florida Cedar Key. Walking distance to everything, CLEAN room, comfy bed (this fleece lined duvet is awesome on this chilly morning). Yes, it’s an older property, and yes it shows it’s age, but don’t we all? If you want sparkly, go to Disney. If you want quaint, cute, and convenient, stay here. I, for one, would come back.

This small motel covers all the basic needs. It is not what one thinks of as 5 star but if you are on a budget and care about location it is great. It was clean, with comfortable beds, great TV & WiFi and air conditioning. If you need more be sure to pack it. Yummy coffee shop next door for breakfast and lots of great seafood restaurants and activities within walking distance.

Very nice hotel for a great price. Visited just after hurricane idalia, very good people who deserve the business.

Cedar Inn is wonderful, quaint and a lovely place to stay. We stayed 3 nights and loved our room!!! It was so comfortable, clean, and cool! The AC works awesome so nice respite from the days heat! Staff here are so friendly and helpful-including Peppers the property mascot and greeter! Best little doggo on the planet! If you are looking for a great place to stay, we highly recommend. This whole island is so laid back and wonderful!!! Will most definitely visit again! Angie & Brian #10

My friend and I were looking for an old Florida feel quick get away. This was perfect. Walking distance to restaurants 2nd floor u could smoke right out ur hotel door and see the water. Everyone was super friendly. We had an issue with our TV and the owner fixed it and sat and talked and visited with us. Water was hot. The painting in our room was beautifully done wish I had history on the painting I'm hoping and would like to think it was a local artist. Just enjoyed it and will be staying again soon.

Stayed 1 night here as we were headed to the Keys. After reading reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. I can tell you this place is quaint, clean, & charming. Near to everything you want to do on Dock St.
Our room was clean, new duvets,towels, etc. I will definitely stay here again and again.
Oh, and I was atravel agent for 14 years so I'm aware of proper accommodations.

We stay here everytime we visit Cedar Key, and that is every other weekend on average. It's simple, affordable and clean. People are friendly and it has a laid back almost retro feeling, which is exactly what we are looking for. And the location is perfect, we park the car and walk to our favorite shops, bars and restaurants.

Very clean rooms, bedding, towels, bathroom and exterior. This is not the Hilton or Marriott but it is a clean and well run 12 room hotel. Debbie & Jim bought this inn 4 years ago and have renovated and run it themselves. They are a very nice couple and go out of their way to satisfy their guests and are a wealth of information about Cedar Key, best restaurants, things to see , great shops and even golf cart rentals.

The inn is close to everything, including restaurants, bars and night life, but just far enough away that your room is peaceful and quiet. We met old friends there and had a wonderful weekend! We are planning to return several time a year for rest and relaxation as we really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed Sunday night through Tuesday morning, it's a great place to stay. This is a simple, small, quiet motel with very few amenities, you get a mini fridge and a microwave. Bring your own hair dryer and coffee if you can't wait to walk around the corner of the building to the diner, which serves awesome breakfast.

The managers left the day before we came but we were still met with a smiling young man with a great personality. The rooms are average but the hospitality goes above and beyond what its missing. The guy running it was very helpful as where to dine and where the vest tourist attractions are. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would definitely come back!

we've stayed there before but its been a while, the new folks that have taken it over are great, right down to their little pooch. rooms are up dated to near perfection for an older florida Hotel. if your going to stay in Cedar Key, I really suggest Cedar inn. they won't leave you wanting anything!

We just loved this little Motel it was quiet and very cozy,the beds were great lots of nice pillows a pull out couch we didn't need but comfy also. The shower was great just let the water run a little to get hot. The hostess was awesome she made our stay even better. could not ask foe a nicer room. The price was the best in town. Will go visit again and always stay at Cedar Inn when we go back there. CC and Billy

Yes it is an older property but my room was clean and very comfortable. The staff (both of them) were great. I honestly didn’t want to leave.
