Cedar Cove Hotel

My wife and I come here once or twice a year and have been doing so for about 13 years minus a year here or there. We only stay here. The view is amazing. Right on the water and get to see dolphins swimming, fish jumping, and sea birds doing bird things. We love it here. If some of the other places here in ceder key were as good as this place we would spend more time there.

We loved staying here! We stayed two nights and our room was lovely. It was very clean when we got there and had a very nice atmosphere. The owner was super friendly and even let us check in late when we were running late on our drive 😅 yesterday morning we did see a man who said he “owned the place” arguing and screaming at a teenager who apparently parked in the wrong place. Not sure if he’s actually an owner or even an employee but if so maybe a chat about his colorful language would be in order. Other than that it was a lovely stay and we will definitely come back!

Room 213! Brand new loveseat and king-sized bed. Kuerig coffee maker with coffee and creamer provided. All linens and towels are new as well. Such a beautiful room and so convenient to the beach, park, and restaurants. Pictures don't reflect how wonderful the room is.

Me and my fishing crew stayed here for two nights. We were greeted by Gina In the check-in office, who has exceptional customer service and people skills. She was very informative and accommodating. She also has a good working knowledge of the whole town and boating in the Gulf. Room 214 was modernized and very spacious/ clean. The room features two queen beds with a spacious day bed that had an additional pull out bed for a total of 4 bedding areas. The exterior of the hotel is a bit old and rural looking, but it all
Ties in with whole “Small Town” Oceanic Heritage type Vibe. The Hotel is adjacent to a really nice park that has picnic seating with a view of the Gulf. This is a really nice place to stay no matter the occasion.

For a not so diverse town, the accommodations and customer service put us at ease.

Great room with a view over the bay. We will be making another trip to visit Cedar Key and Cedar Cove Hotel in a few months. Wonderful brunch at their restaurant on Sunday morning topped off the weekend.

We loved 311! Perfect view and walking distance to all the restaurants and fishing tours. Front desk was polite and helpful. Room was clean and fully stocked. We will definitely stay again.

My husband and I always get the same room. They are individually owned and decorated. Our room has a balcony with perfect views. They have a pool and restaurant, though we have not eaten there. The staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel is close the beach area, park, charter and tour boats, main drag with restaurants and shops.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cedar Cove. They are located on the east end of the key, but we were still able to walk to most places in town. The staff are very friendly and helpful. One staff member in particular, Stephanie, went above and beyond for us. I ordered some swim shirts to the condo and Amazon said it was delivered, but it was really in a PO box at the post office. The condo office was closing, but Stephanie went to the post office (on her own time) and got it for me!!

The room was clean and comfortable. It was 90+ degrees outside, but we were always cool inside. King size bed was great, bathroom big and clean. Lots of water pressure in the shower and endless hot water. The balcony was nice and overlooked a small old dock area that we could observe the tidal changes.

We enjoyed the outdoor pool. Staff gave us extra towels to use at the pool. There is also a big gas grill that you can use.

Elevator worked well and made moving our stuff back and forth from the car and condo much easier.

This was an excellent trip and the hotel and its staff are a big part of that. The room was clean and the loft was a perfect touch. The view was great. The best part was this: my wife accidentally left her late father's necklace there. We didnt notice it until the hotel called to tell us. They then agreed to drop it in the mail for her. Exceptional people...

Fantastic views for the price If you stay on the water side not the pool side. We stayed for a week and the hotel staff was very accommodating. The room has all you need and more. We brought our own beach towels for adventures and wiping down our golf cart seat when needed. We also brought beach chairs. The beach is right outside the hotel and the restaurant down stairs has good food and a nice bar on the water. The staff in the restaurant were wonderful. I look forward to staying here again.

Beautiful!! The room was perfect very clean and adorable set up thank you to the owners of room 317! The balcony was where i spent the majority of my time the place is so peaceful! Everyone is friendly and helpful from the bartender to the cleaning crew to the desk clerk!! We loved our trip cant wait to go back!!

Love Cedar Key. Will retire here. The hotel was great except our room 214 had a broken dishwasher, a bathroom door that stuck and wasn't as stocked as we thought.
Was well worth the $$$ great price and staff. Ps. Get a room on the top floor as floor 2 guests we had loud people above that kept us up often. Overall would do again and love it .

Very nice room, great view of the gulf, friendly service and very nice amenities. The pool was awesome, and the town of Cedar Key was just what we were looking for...quiet, friendly, great food, beautiful surroundings, and a nice island vacation. My wife and I want to retire here. This is definitely one of our best vacations ever.

My husband and I came here on a whim for my birthday. This place was such a gem. The rooms are completely adorable, not necessarily uoscale but hey! it's Cedar Key. The staff was awesome. They have a restaurant right on site. We are bringing the kids back for sure!

The owners and staff treated our family fantastically. The newly renovated restaurant, called the Island Room, has delicious food (the kind that makes you want to lick your plate when you are done lol). Rooms were perfectly designed and look like the best place to stay in Cedar Key. Thank you for making our vacation the best!

Very clean beach area right out the back door it's like a studio apartment fridgerator full size full size stove with oven sink microwave also had plates pots and pans silverware paper towel you name it was there awesome place. And the pool is icing on top. Would definitely stay here again.

Cedar Key was a last minute decision taking the long way home from Destin. This was the first hotel that we came to (side note as we pulled in we noticed that there was a 3 day minimal stay) we decided to give it a shot anyhow and we were so glad we did. The manager was very friendly, had no problem letting us stay only 2 nights in the 1 room they had left which was in the process of being cleaned. The room was not only super clean but also beautiful with a great view. There were parts of the hotel that were still under construction from damage that had been after the last hurricane and still our stay there was great. We plan to return to Cedar Key and to the Cedar Cove Hotel.

Love this hotel. Well maintained, clean rooms with lots of space. Kitchens, balconies, great views. On the water. Close to boardwalk and downtown. Super friendly.

Stayed in room 211 February of 2018. A wonder experience. Helpful, caring staff and owners. Waterfront balcony, sunset views, view of the boat ramp, best restaurant in Cedar Key is at Cedar Cove Hotel. Everything is walking distance. Will definitely return!
