Ripley's Moving Theater

Staff was wonderful! This was a lot of fun! Not sure why the other reviews mention a lot of water being sprayed in your face that wasn't our experience. Our experience was just a very light mist. It's a part of the experience. Highly recommend lots of fun! I also didn't feel that it was a rough ride. You're definitely moving again it's a part of the experience. We enjoyed it. The staff was really wonderful! They want you to enjoy your experience and they were very accommodating and kind.

Overall this was a great experience!!! I truly do not recommend for kids that don’t like jerky movements, darkness, or motion sickness. The only I didn’t like that much was being sprayed with water so many times during the last scenario. We saw two, a dinosaur one and one where it was racing but it was like floating cars. It’s was a new experience but also a great one!!!

The staff was incredibly helpful, and the kids had a blast. Although the movie was short, it made the visit worthwhile.

My kids did this while in Gatlinburg and they said it was a great time. They sat through 2 “movies” and said they were good. We purchased the bundle tickets so we could do all of the Ripley’s attractions.

The waits a little long but if you have patience the shows are actually pretty cool and the staffs very friendly! Be prepared to get a little wet and thrown around a bit! Over all we left smiling and laughing it was a good time!

Such a fun time! It was so immersive and I had a total blast. I will definitely be taking more of my friends next time I’m in town!

We bought the aquarium + tickets online ahead of time and they were so simple to use. You watch two movies. They were both good. Between 5 and 10 minutes each. Sometimes hard to get seats all together, but everyone was very accommodating and moved together to make room.

The ride itself was really cool! As someone with wide hips the handlebars dug into my skin a bit but it wasn’t anything that could have ruined the experience. The seatbelts are a bit tricky to put on and don’t be afraid to ask for help! I had to do it a couple of times before I figured it out. The dinosaur one was my favorite!

So awesome!! Worth it!

I screamed the whole time. I am a wus. Husband said it's the closest to a roller coaster he is going to get me.

This was fun! Kids liked it and us adults had fun too!

Fun experience...you get jolted in the seat but it's so much fun

Had fun a quick inexpensive fun ride. Me and my daughter loved it 👍

We had to wait about 15 minutes to get in and there were 2 four minute movies. My chiropractor may not appreciate me going on this but my 80 year old MIL did great so it's fine. I sometimes get nauseous on these things but I did not on this. I caught myself smiling several times so I guess I enjoyed it! Lol I don't know how much it costs by itself, we did the whole Ripley's pass. Which, if you go with children, is enjoyable for them. I would have experienced our one day in Gatlinburg totally different.

This was so awesome! Saw two different short films. The Aztecs & a Christmas one with Santa's sledge. The seats move with the movie so you feel like you're on a rollercoaster. It was a blast! I really enjoyed it! The kids really liked it too!!

I & mom was first time 2005 & free in. That's AMAZING place. 💜😮 So fun ride moving theater is great. Wear 3D glasses and little rough ride, not bother me no getting bad pain neck.

We were skeptical on this event at first from the reviews but me and my family enjoyed this attraction! It was a lot of fun! Highly recommend! The only negative was I wish it was longer. It was very short.

It was a lot of fun took the family and did this my little girl loved it, the Films are kinda short but there is 2 so that helps, your kids will absolutely love the ride and movies!!

Lots of fun for kids and adults! You'll see 2 movies. They're less than 5 minutes each. Seats move, shake, vibrate, etc. They offer stationary seats for small children or anyone that prefers a chair that doesn't move.
