BenchMark Physical Therapy

I have been going to Benchmark in West Asheville for over a year and a half now—first, with Tyler and then Kelly—for several issues that needed physical therapy. I cannot say enough about the enthusiasm, professionalism, and personal attention provided by these therapists. I started going there for serious neck problem—which was addressed and alleviated, and then later for rehabilitation after knee replacement. In between was some general neck and shoulder pain relief, including dry needling. I have been treated personally and professionally throughout, and truly look forward to my visits. Kelly could not be more engaged with her patients—she has a marvelous touch, literally and figuratively, with every single person. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I had chronic Achilles tendon pain for something like 16 or 17 years and had been to countless PT places for help. I'd get temporary relief through stretching exercises, but it took a long time to get relief. After going to Dr. Kelly John, I IMMEDIATELY started feeling relief. She did a few different kinds of therapy, dry needling, and rubbing this metal smoothing device on it. (Can't remember what the technique is called.) I felt better right away, and that relief would last a day or two at first. Gradually, the pain would go away for longer and longer periods, until finally I can say it's gone! I'm so happy with the results, and I really appreciate that Kelly came up with a new approach that nobody else had tried. She also listened to me as I described where the pain was and knew right what to do. Thank you, Kelly, and everyone else at BenchMark PT!

Kelly is giving me so much hope that I will be able to get back to the gym, gardening and a life without dizziness! And Jack is stellar with scheduling.

Kelly shows her passion for physical therapy through her willingness to help patients return to their prior level of function. She listens to what patients have to say and is very receptive with their feedback. She is great!!

I’ve been going to this location for almost 3 weeks now and I can say it’s one of my weekly highlights. Both Kelly and Vanessa are absolutely wonderful individuals and have made a fairly awful situation extremely positive. I’m so glad I was recommended this place! If you need a place and professionals who will hear you, listen to what hurts and get answers on how to heal- come here. You absolutely won’t regret it!

I recently started physical therapy at BenchMark in west Asheville and I can honestly say it has been the absolute best experience I've had over many years of therapy at various places in Asheville and Western NC. In just three sessions, I feel so much relief from back pain and foot pain. I am amazed! Tyler, who I've learned has his doctorate in physical therapy, is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He is also modest, humorous and delightful person. He listens carefully and respectfully to all my worries and complaints about various aches and pains. He provides the right therapy to address those issues and, in a very short time, has provided a lot of relief. I plan to continue with him as long as I can. I highly recommend him and BenchMark. The location is also convenient and there is always ample and easy parking.
