I recently visited Aldi and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The store boasts a fantastic selection of fresh produce, which was both abundant and of excellent quality. It’s always a delight to find such a variety of fresh and healthy options available.

Furthermore, the store was impeccably clean, creating a pleasant shopping environment. I appreciate the attention they give to maintaining a tidy space, as it enhances the overall shopping experience. Even the restroom was spotless, a testament to their commitment to cleanliness throughout the store.

One new feature that caught my attention was the addition of self-checkout. It was incredibly convenient, allowing me to scan and pay for my items with ease. The process was quick and efficient, saving me valuable time during my visit.

Overall, Aldi exceeded my expectations. Their commitment to providing fresh produce, maintaining a clean store, and implementing self-checkout truly sets them apart. I highly recommend Aldi for anyone seeking a positive shopping experience.

Great prices and friendly employees. The food was really good also. We got salmon, streaks, and cheese.

I’m very grateful for Aldi’s affordability, since rent and gas prices are crazy. Stopped shopping at Publix because it was a waste of $$ on the same items I can get here. I can always find my favorite pasta, veggies and fruits here. Nice staff. Store is usually very clean as well!

We absolutely love the Aldi's grocery store in Franklin NC. We have to drive about 15 miles from Sylva but it is worth it. We are getting used to the SelfCheck out and we always have plenty of bags in the car. I have never bought anything from them that way bad. We Highly Recommend Grocery Shopping at the nearest Aldi's.

Love this Aldi and go about once a week. The produce selection isn't huge, but good quality for the price. The store employees are the real MVP's

Why do I love Aldi? Let me count the ways! Honestly, the food is fresh and reasonably priced. I can buy organic items at a fraction of the cost anywhere else in town. The staff is friendly and efficient. That's it. I've decided the best way to share the Aldi experience with you is through photos of my grocery shopping trip last week. I took a lot of pictures so you can see the selection, prices and decide for yourself. I prefer the Aldi on Swannanoa River Road. The store is always organized, and the employees are kind and helpful.

If you are unfamiliar with this kind of shopping experience, here are a few things you need to know:

*Bring a Quarter. That's how you get a shopping cart. Your quarter is returned when you return the cart to the storage area. Easy! (If you're someone who likes to abandon your cart to an unfortunate location around the parking area...this isn't the place for you.) The scooter/wheelchair carts are not locked.
*Bring reusable shopping bags. This is optional as of course as they sell reusable Aldi bags and paper bags. BUT my trick when I forget my bags? I grab a couple big boxes from the produce department and pack my items in those and then recycle the boxes. Easy and no cost.
*Name brands are sometimes in stock, but only as "Aldi Finds" so not guaranteed to be there the next time you shop. As for the Aldi Finds, this is something you'll have to experience to understand the scope and variety of things they find and offer at significant discounts. I've found everything from auto windshield weather protecting mats to really wonderful rain boots, culinary tools and kitchen necessities, and before Christmas, a portable Singer sewing machine!

Great selection, great prices, great staff. Clean. The parking lot can be packed & difficult to navigate, so be prepared.

I've been a customer for 16 years now. They always have great prices, super friendly staff and are a key part of my monthly budget.

The best Aldi in the area! This is the largest and most well-stocked Aldi in Asheville. A great produce section! The staff members are always friendly and helpful. Plus there's now a self checkout!

All ways good. I love the self check out. I can get what Need and done.

Clean and well stocked. Spacious aisles and easy to navigate. One of the nicer Aldi’s I’ve been in.

Aldi is the only place I've found in my state to carry (albeit randomly) Coffea Exotica.

And then there's the cheese selection...so much really well priced stuff to choose from. Just do yourself a favor and get a cart before you go in.

I just want to say that Nancy is the absolute best employee at this Aldi! Since they switched over to mainly self check out (which I found to be really time consuming with children in tow) I noticed Nancy was gone for a while and the place wasn't the same at all. Nancy has such an upbeat wonderful personality and is willing to take anyone in line, that she makes me smile and enjoy shopping here again. Thank you Nancy!!

Really good deals for fruit and veggies:)

Ample parking in the parking lot. Big spacious interior design with lots of light. It was well stocked when I went. Lots of self checkouts that made it easy to check out.

Lots of good organic produce today. Broccoli, raspberries,pears,mandarins, peppers,greens,carrots,celery, avocados. Good cheese selection although I wish they had goat brie.

I just need to leave a shout out to Nancy. She is an Aldi employee that no doubt goes above and beyond. The check out was packed! People everywhere, self check was hopping too. Nancy was so kind and kept a beautiful smile while doing it. I don’t know Many people that could handle that stress while being so kind. Nancy is an asset to Aldi, please give her a raise and never let her go. I live in West Asheville and will be driving back to this location just to see Nancy. Thank you for your kindness, Nancy.

It took us some time to finally stop at Aldi. We love Trader Joe's and know this is the parent company, always forgot about it. We are truly impressed with the quality of the products and the prices. We will definitely be back.
