Alamo Rent A Car

We rented a Nissan Rouge at the Alamo rent a car at The Kansas City Airport. We had a great experience when we picked up our vehicle there. Very friendly staff and helpful. I would definitely rent from Alamo again there in Kansas City at the airport.

We did the pre-check in and just walked out to the cars, picked one consistent with our booking, and drove out. The man at the gate checked our papers and off we went. No lines, no delay! It was amazing!

Had a great experience renting from Kansas City airport. I arrived early in the morning and was able to print my ticket and grab my car from the lot without any issues. The attendent in the booth as I was leaving was curteous and helpful. Dropping the car off was so easy and fast. I didn't experience any issues with my rental.

I wanted to write a review about both the pros and cons of my experience with Alamo.

We originally booked a car rental in Denver with Alamo and intended to bring the car back to this location. Due to flight cancellations and weather, we ended up driving back to KC. The Denver Alamo location was then attempting to charge a significant amount of money for the change, when ultimately the issue was their fault due to us not being able to get in contact with them after multiple attempts.

At the KCI Alamo, i was able to work with a lady named Lyric. She listened to my situation and the multiple issues we had with the Denver branch, and worked with me to adjust my billing to what i believe was a very fair rate. I was not asking for the change to be free, but rather to be a reasonable.

I really appreciated working with Lyric and the attention she gave me with our situation, an ultimately reaching a solution to my problem.

I haven't needed a rental car in years and was a little nervous due to previous experiences. Alamo was awesome. I wish I could remember the guys names checking us in and helping with the return. They were so helpful and kind. After this experience in the Kansas City Airport, I booked with Alamo again for a trip to Pittsburgh Airport.

Reserved full size car, got a Chevy Malibu. Great car, clean, no issues. Customer service was friendly and helpful. Hailey at the counter answered all questions and was pleasant. Returning the car was a breeze. Joshua Hubner was extremely helpful, made sure we had all our belongings. Great experience with polite, efficient Alamo employees.

Our experience with Alamo was great. Robby was so helpful when I dropped off the car. He was friendly, Considerate and gave us great instructions on finding our way to the airport van.

Alamo Rental Cars are the easiest company I have ever used. Always get the car I want. Skip the counter and go pick out your car is the best feature!

Getting the car was easy dealing with the Kansas City airport. Bus shuttle was a pain, but that had nothing to do with Alamo.

Everything worked great. Barry took us to the car and made sure we knew how to work everything. He was super super friendly and helpful and Josh was right there when we arrived and did a wonderful and efficient job of getting us checked in as we arrived after having the car for over eight days. Another super nice guy. The car worked perfectly the entire time. Yes, it was helpful that we had made reservations over a month in advance. Price of gas was also good in Kansas and Missouri at about $3.49 vs. $6.00 in California. We probably drove over 700 trouble free miles that week. Had a great experience! The vehicle was nice, Joshua the greeter when I dropped the truck off was very personable and had great customer service!

It was easy to rent the car online and once I got to the counter it was just a few minutes and I had my car. It was clean and it drove great! When I brought my car back, the person that helped me was so nice and friendly and it just took a few minutes. His name was Joshua Hubner.

Excellent staff. Pleasant and professional. Painless pickup & dropoff. Had to change our plans and drop off car a few days early. No penalties & they adjusted our bill to be less than expected. Clean, new van. Definitely rent from them again.

From our check-in to selecting our car on the lot with a help of a great guy to returning our vehicle back at MCI/Kansas City Int’l Airport, we had a great experience. Reasonable price, new vehicle, a win-win!

Exceptional experience with Alamo. Check in was quick and the rep was friendly and helpful despite the fact it was 11:50 in the evening. I had to extend the rental and was able to do that via email and received a quick reply and confirmation. I will for sure rent from Alamo the next time travel takes me to Kansas City. Thanks!

The Kansas City Airport Alamo Rental team are top notch. From check in with Kristopher to drop off with Xavier who offered a genuine smile and a hand shake. I had elderly people with me and it was difficult to choose a full size vehicle so I was very happy that the 2 lot attendees were so incredibly patient and kind with us. The car we finally chose was a hybrid Honda Accord that was very clean. It was easy to email with the customer service team and I even had success getting someone on the phone at the rental location. Alamo has great locations, great cars, and always on point. Skip the counter is the best thing ever. I’ve never had any issues booking online and always a quick easy return.

Very simple, smooth process, and I ended up with a brand new car (I think 400 miles) which was pretty cool.
