Avis Car Rental

First time renting with Avis and the process was quick and easy. The agent was fast and efficient. Selected a pickup truck and received this Jeep Gladiator.

The car we rented seemed to have an issue with the tire, but the staff swapped it out for another car. The process was quick and easy and the staff was super friendly. Great location, great people.

Tyler and James were fantastic! They were friendly and helpful. So great after a long day of travel! Even the checkout guy was great! (Didn’t catch his name, but super friendly!) Great experience at MCI Avis!

Dropped off the car at 9:30am with the person saying that they do not give a receipt and everything is good. After 6 hrs, I checked my app, it still says that the rental car is in my name. Reading through the reviews and comments it seems that Avis charges whatever they feel like to their customers returning car at this center.
What a trap!! And I have rented at least 6-7 times from Avis, never faced such issue. Even customer care is unable to help. Hope they can take care of it.

The Kansas City International Airport Avis did a great job...I received a Jeep Grand Cherokee with low mileage for a reasonable rate...I booked the vehicle last-minute through Hotwire, the check out and rental return went easy. The experience added value to my trip!

Avis at the KC Airport made the pickup and drop off process very easy without any hassle. I didn’t have to worry about hidden fees or pressures to buy add ons either. I would highly recommend using their service again!

I have no complaints. My brother and I traveled out to Kansas City, and we were given a Nissan Dodge Charger. The car worked well with a very impressive range and mileage. George, the gentleman who helped us, was very professional and did a good job.

My Avis experience was exceptional! Easy to book a car. Pickup was easy and fast. Car was brand new and had power everything. Return drop-off was fast. AND- Avis had cars when the other rental companies were sold out. They saved the day!

We landed just before close on a weeknight, and were greeted with cheerful staff who were extremely helpful, despite being near the end of what I'm sure was a long shift. The staff member helping us, James, was extremely nice and made us laugh despite our tiredness. We got upgraded to a wonderful Mazda CX7 which was a pleasure to drive, and everything was clean and well maintained. Many rental cars have a weird air freshener smell, this car smelt completely neutral which was a surprisingly nice change.

Great place to rent a car. They have great rentals. My only issue is I didn’t come in through the airport. I came in through the train station and had to travel a half hour to get to the airport. It would be nice to have an Avis rental car hub at Union Station. Otherwise great rental cars.

Easy pickup and return. Staff is super helpful. I have been using rental cars for quite awhile but nothing beats Avis. They have best cars and i never had a single problem with their cars.

Smoothest and fastest car rental experience from flight arrival to vehicle pick up. Customer service at pick up and drop off were quick, accommodating, and friendly. The staff with the bus service was extremely helpful too. Best experience I’ve had with car rentals.

The ease of use of Avis preferred is outstanding. Being able to pick my car while taxing on the plane is a nice perk. Unfortunately, this time we picked up a car and it smelled of smoke. We were in a bit of a hurry and just figured it was due to the cleaners may be smoking around it. However, the next morning after sitting all night the car reeked. We had to leave it sitting for two days with the windows open to get the smoke smell out. I reported the problem to the Avis customer service line during the rental, and they assured me we would not be charged a cleaning fee. They offered to exchange the car, which was not practical for us so we kept it. Upon return, I scanned the code to let the local management know of the issue. And I received a very prompt reply before we boarded our flight. So, even though there was a problem, Avis took care of it. Highly recommend them.

To Avis rental experience at Kansas City international airport was very easy very convenient very hands off and all done with the app I was in and out and then back and drop off in a heartbeat. I would do it again.!

We reserved a Tesla but received an electric Hyundai which proved to be a great car. We had a wonderful experience driving the car. There were some snafus at the counter but they were handled wonderfully by two counter agents JoDee and James at the Kansas City Airport.

Airline made an unexpected landing at a different airport due to weather closing down destination airport. Instead of waiting for rerouted flight, decided to drive home from airport. Made it home faster and was able to enjoy Christmas holiday without delays. Thanks AVIS.

Used Avis for a last minute rental in Kansas City. At first reluctant only because of the time it takes to rent a car but Avis made it super easy and efficient. We were in a car within 5 minutes. Great service.

We had to return the car we picked up at JFK AIRPORT a few days early due to a maintenance issue it was quick nice folks, a lot of respect due to the young man working there I think his name is John as he was wearing many caps that night.

Never have rented a car myself before for leisure, and the experience was nothing short of amazing!! The car was better than I thought for the price I paid!! People were fast and soooo friendly!
