Steel and Ink Tattoo Studio

My 11 year old daughter wanted to get her ears pieced and I knew I wanted to have it done by a professional. I looked into multiple shops and ultimately decided on this one. The staff here is amazing. Very friendly and welcoming. The piercer walked my daughter through every step of the process and made sure he had her consent through each step. An amazing display of respecting someone’s bodily autonomy. Her ears have healed beautifully and unlike me who got her ears pierced at Walmart in the 90’s my daughters piercing are actually even. We’re gonna give it another month wearing the earrings the piercer placed just to be sure she’s fully healed (will be 4 month by then) but if she ever wants more piercings or I decide to get another tattoo I definitely know where I’m going. For the piercings they don’t do appointments it was a first come first serve/waiting list situation so we did have or wait about 45 minutes but with south county mall being right there we just went and did some window shopping and snacking and then returned and they were ready for us within 10 minutes of our return

I’ve been Tattooed and Pierced by many people here and everyone is very nice, understanding kind, and patient. That’s something you can’t find at a lot of places, they have a great team. Definitely my number one place to go and will be for a while!

i’ve gotten tattooed by a handful of artists at steel n ink and each one of them brings so much talent to the table and whoever you choose, you cannot go wrong. no matter who helps me out with perfecting a vision, im never let down. aleenah has done a majority of my traditional sleeve and i could not be more satisfied. i’m constantly getting complimented and connecting with people regarding my tattoos, and every time i’m approached i have to mention the shop. there is so much talent in one place. i’m happy with whoever ends up being available when i feel like getting inked because each artist is incredibly talented and i am never ever let down. my favorite place to spend my free time by far.

Awesome shop and tattoos. I was a walk-in and got Lorenzo as my artist. He was not only professional with me but also provided honest feedback to the piece with what I wanted to get accomplished.. Truly did an awesome job. Linework and shading were on point. Although he is headed to Houston in a couple weeks, this studio will always have great artists on deck, and Will definitely return again. I had been to Steele and Ink for my first tattoo, and decided to go back for my first piercings. Mackenzie was amazing!!! She had a gentle touch, and I barely felt anything. Everyone else was also extremely professional and knowledgeable. I can’t wait to go back again for my next tattoo or piercing.

That was my first time getting a tattoo, and I absolutely adored these folks and the whole place itself! The tattoo artist I asked for, Rachel Meister, was so sweet and lovely, responding to me each time I had a question or doubts, and she indeed did an excellent job! The snake tattoo I dreamed about turned out even better than I expected! Many thanks to you again!!!

What a cool studio! I brought my mom in to get pricing on a Rosie the Riveter tattoo, and ended up meeting Fino. We talked about stretching lobes and ended up piercing with a 10g and immediately stretching to an 8g. He was super knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I will be back!

I LOVE Steel and Ink. I won't go anywhere else. The artists are amazing, the space is open and clean, the atmosphere is awesome, and the prices are completely fair. I've been tattooed by 3 artists here (one just recently moved out state) and I have had a great experience with each. The artists are honest, creative, and genuinely want you to have a positive experience, and walk out happy. I just got done with the first session of a big piece, and it is better than I ever imagined. Tyler absolutely crushed it! I have to go back for a color session, but he took great care of me! You will not regret going to this studio!!

*note: it is on the second floor of the building, and the stairs are fairly steep, so accessibility might be a barrier for some people.

I have had nothing but positive experiences at Steel and Ink. Everyone from the front desk staff to every single tattoo and piercing professional are the coolest and most friendly people. I've gotten all of my work done by Shawn and he kills it every time. He never fails at bringing my ideas to life in his own unique artisic style. Im always blown away and so happy with his work and get compliments on my tattoos everywhere I go. It's always a fun time and I look forward to more work in the future. It's a great feeling to walk into the shop and be welcomed with smiles and friendly faces who seem genuinely happy to see me again. I recommend Steel and Ink to everyone who asks where I go.

Very clean and friendly studio! The entire staff from start to finish are the greatest! I have been there twice for 3 tattoos since October 2023. Their piercers are amazing as well. I won’t go anywhere else for tattoos or piercings!

My go to forever!! Everyone at steel n ink is so friendly front desk always greats me by my name! I started getting piercings here and I’ve never had any issues with them plus they offer trendy jewelry and good prices. Shawn has done all of my realistic tattoos he goes above and beyond my expectations I always get compliments on my tattoos and piercings from them!

Would never go anywhere else for piercings! I have an upcoming procedure where I have to remove all my jewelry, and both Ava and Fino were amazing. I didn’t know about retainers before, but I went home with a few of them so that I don’t have to worry about my piercings closing while already worried about my surgery. Thanks for the excellent service every time I’m there! ♥

Rachel is amazing! I came in April for a half sleeve tattoo and had two sessions with her. I explained what I wanted, showed her a couple of photos, she did everything I wanted and she did such an incredible job with it. She also checked in during the session to make sure I was okay or if I needed a break. She’s the best! I get compliments on my half sleeve almost everyday! ❤

Everything about this shop is perfect! The shop is clean and all the artists are friendly and professional. I have been there 4 times now with 2 more sessions being booked this year. I have been tattooed by 3 different artists, and they have all been quick to respond to inquiries and worked tirelessly with me to create perfect pieces. Booking is also easy! I have tried to book with other shops before and I don’t get the same professionalism and treatment that I get from Steel and Ink, so I won’t go anywhere else!

i went in january to get my nose pierced... best decision ever! the end of july i got matching tattoos with my mom and sister, also best decision ever. i would recommend this place in a heartbeat. as soon as you walk in, it's very welcoming and everyone has great customer service and smiles on their face. definitely will be coming back soon!!:)

One of the best shops I’ve ever gotten pierced/tattooed at. The artists are passionate about their work and their clients happiness. Super friendly staff, clean atmosphere, and all around great energy! I’d recommend Steel and Ink to any and everyone.
