Oh. My. Goodness….. I went in expecting a mildly cool experience and was shocked- I’ve been missing out for so long! Organized, friendly staff, I was allowed to shop without harassment or pressure, and the inventory was impressive

My personal experience today was great! I dropped off items, and in return found a few items. Had a chance to talk toys with the owner. So it was a great trip.

The folks at Saga Toys are absolutely great and this store is amazing. We learned of this shop from AEW wrestler Ethan Page's toy vlog and he is right, this is a great shop. As a Star Wars fan I was in heaven. The store was also incredibly organized with all the inbox figured of Star Wars characters on the back wall being ALPHABETIZED. I have never seen a used toy store so well organized. Anytime we are in St Louis this place will be a regular stop.

I love this store! There are loads of Star Wars toys, but also a fine selection of Star Trek, DC, Marvel, and G.I. Joe, just to name a few others. Their inventory of Funko Pops is fantastic, too. The owner really knows his stuff. Make Saga Toys your first stop if you're looking for some figures. I will definitely shop there again.

Everything and more you need if you are a toy collector. Love this store. Huge variety, star wars, Legos, action figures, avengers, ninja turtles, masters of the Universe, horror movies and so much more.

I traded in two fairly large collections of toys I had amassed and no longer had room for at two different times. Having worked in a store like this before, I knew the basic trade in value versus shelf sticker price that most people seem not to know about. With a ballpark figure in my head, I emailed ahead both times to set a time to meet, and called ahead to confirm on the day of, and had no problems meeting with the owner and waiting for him to go through the 20+ boxes of collectibles. After he went through everything, both times the amount he offered was higher than the amount I was prepared for. Again, having worked in a store like this in the past, I was prepared for the numbers. I found his store to be packed with many gems, though he does seem to follow the trends and price certain things up when the heat rises around them. It's hard to blame him though since scalpers will simply snap them up and resell them on eBay for more if he doesn't. HOWEVER, many prices are negotiable and when you are purchasing several items together, he seems more will to flex a bit.
I will say though that some items were not priced, or the prices were difficult to see, and some of the other helpers in the store are not as customer focused and friendly. The newer location he moved to a few years ago is nicely laid out and there's a more than fair chance you'll find something to take home, but if you are going to trade things in, educate yourself on the differences between what places offer in credit or cash, and how they typically have to offer a fraction of the selling price in order to pay for overhead.

Great store to find your favorite Marvel action figure, plus accessories! My eight year old grandsons version of Heaven!

I'm from Tulsa, Oklahoma and I'm in st louis visiting friends. I collect action figures and comics and I happened upon Saga Toys. I love this store!!! I just wanted to send some peace and love to the owners of this store. I bought some toys there today and it made me happy!!

Really cool, they have a ton of Pop! Figures, and a lot of star wars, wwe, ninja turtles, G.I.Joe and other action figures. The prices are pretty good too. We have 3 small kids and they're always really nice when it comes to them running around in the store. We make sure they're respectful towards their toys and do our best not to let them mess things up or throw things around. The owner is always very sweet to them and even told us he appreciated that we made sure they didn't create chaos. (My words not his).

Went around St Louis looking for good action figure stores. This was by far the best one we found! Great selection! Great prices! Big store! Friendly worker. Found figures I didn’t even know existed. Thought it was going to cost more than it actually did! Definitely going back next time we’re in the area!

This place is fantastic. Tons of action figures and great pricing. You can get items at the same price or most likely lower than an online auction site. If you are not careful you could end up staying there for hours. The selection is unreal. They offer both figures in original packaging or loose figures in clear bags that look neat and clean. Finally someone knows how to sell loose figures. I got stuck in the Spawn section looking at everything and in the DC section. It's just great. Go now.

This place is amazing and the person who owns it is wonderful. He genuinely cares about his customers. He heard my father had a heart attack and he actually called to see how he was doing. Also if you are a veteran you get a pretty nice discount!!!

After coming to St Louis for the last year for work I finally got over to Saga Toys. What an amazing place! Excellent inventory of toys especially my favorite Star Wars. There was so much and it was so difficult to narrow it down to what I wanted to buy. Eventually I did and the prices were very reasonable. Customer service was top notch! I’ll be making a return visit for sure!

I have been here once.. it's a great place workers are very friendly. It makes me Sad reading some of the reviews on here so let's clear it up. The owner was a very nice guy very helpful when I was in there. It seems he is partially deaf. So people need to understand that first off. With that being said I have seems reviews saying they are anti-mask in this case I can understand if he does not want to force it. Think of it his way. This is his way of life being taken away when reading lips help day in and day out to communicate with customers and people around you. So it's very Sad seeing people bad mouthing this place over that. Once I found out I pulled my mask down to talk with him and it helped to much and he was more grateful to help and talk with me.
If your a fan of toys form the 80s this is the place for you they have great toys to pick from. Transformers, he-man, Voltron, Star wars and so on. Take a moment to stop in check it out. I hope this review helped other more because I look at reviews all the time and this one needs a strong 5 star review after reading other one. Thanks and go check out Saga toys. Awesome place! You can tell the owner is very passionate about what he does. They are definitely still a work in progress but so much progress is made every time I walk in! Lots of cool stuff coming soon (including a spaceship room for birthday parties… And they already make costumes and stuff so it’s really fun to walk in and have a decent conversation with the cashier about cosplay lol) and it’s family-friendly too so that’s definitely a plus! My eight-year-old little brother loves this place just as much as I do. The toy selection is great and I would highly HIGHLY recommend this place if you are a collector of pop vinyl figures (their selection on everything is awesome, but as a collector of pop vinyl figures this was heaven)

The Store Is Amazing. My Buddy Owns It. He Is Very Friendly And Always Willing To Hell The customer. It’s Quite A Big Store, so you will find something for everyone . The parking lot is quite huge so there be no problem finding a place to park . There so many new and old toys inside the store , so the range is great . I went with a friend a few times and everytime we go we have a blast . This time around I bought a shirt 👕. Thanks guys for a great shopping experience

So I was an 80’s kid. And I still feel like one in every way! (except my knees and my back.)😫
And ever since the big chain toy stores started disappearing, one-by-one... I felt like I didn’t really HAVE a place to look at toys, meet new people, basically just ENJOY the culture and WONDER of toy collecting. I accidentally found Saga Toys. The second I walked in I loved it. They’ve got everything a collector like me would want, and everything a kid could DREAM of. Most of the stuff is super affordable, but there are high-end items that come with high-end prices, 🤷🏻‍♂and if you’re a collector-you KNOW that comes with the territory. The owner is a great guy and super helpful in finding obscure toy lines and well known franchises as well. I’ve visited Saga Toys quite a few times now and every time I go I find something I didn’t notice the last time. The store is a work in progress (they moved from a previous location I guess?) but the presentation is on point. It doesn’t feel like a cramped flea market with over inflated prices, and a disinterested staff. I can tell there was passion and enthusiasm put into this place.
The used figure collection is mind blowing. If you don’t mind not having the box, this is your Disneyland! If you want new figures they have that too!
I’m trying to pick out my favorite parts without writing a giant review, but .. yeah if you want a place with positive vibes, good prices, and none of the toxic nonsense that some collectors and stores bring to the table..🤨. this is your place. It’s pretty much impossible to be in a bad mood when you’re there. 😁
