Very helpful and the guy does not try to up sell items you don't need. I even came in wanting to buy some upgrades and they said for wanted I wanted to replace the Traxxas ones are very good and no need to waste money on that. That gives me some trust and we keep going back to get repair parts for my son's truck that he seems to break often.

Always a great interaction, been going for 20+ years and never a bad experience. Guys know their stuff and always helping. Keep up the great work. Best hobby shop in the area.

This place is awesome! Ton of knowledge from these guys can tell they are really enthusiasts comparing to other shops in the local region. May not have the part on the shelf at the time u think u need it but it’s a smaller old school shop with the knowledge you’d hope for especially from a newbie like me…

5 star review for this place. Even though they don't have a market for HPI products or on road cars they still took in my HPI sprint 2 flux. They did a wonderful job with freshening up my kit and even replaced my oem screws with my supplied titanium ones. Once they finished they only charged me for an hour of labor and keep the price the same. I was out of town and they held onto my car without rushing me and even said it be okay when I called to see if they would stay late on a Friday and they wouldn't even let me give them a tip. I called and rescheduled for another day. The pick up was easy and I'm super happy with what I can see so far. Runs great for the past 30 minutes and is very responsive. I'm so happy to have my rc in good condition now and it's thanks to Checkered Flag.

Absolutely wonderful experience. I, for all intents and purposes, was not necessarily a great customer (meaning I’m new to this hobby and needed help, but didn’t know what questions to ask). Both employees were fantastic, asking me questions to narrow down what would be best for my needs. Extremely grateful for their time and hope to be a customer for years to come.

I recently got into the RC Hobby, wanting to get into racing 1:10 electric buggies. David and Steve have both been tremendously helpful and accommodating. David in particular has been a huge help in educating and directing me with what I need, and Steve's been instrumental in getting everything set up and tuned and dialed in. This has been a lot of fun so far and I wholeheartedly recommend Checkered Flag for all your RC needs. Oh, and they have Gunpla too.

Side note: They also own SmacTrac raceway, so visit there and go racing too!

Went today with an unknown issue and was given great help. They took time to try out different solutions and helped me get my car running before I even left the store. Can recommend

Great store for rc cars and planes. They even have some drones and models for young to old. The two men that were in the store even helped fix my buddy's car. They know their parts. You can buy kits or parts to build your own as you like. Very good place to go.

We were in search of a rc truck with a trailer for our son's birthday. The man working the counter and even another customer were so very helpful. They took a lot of time with us explaining what vehicle would work best, what batteries would last longer and are worth the extra money for a longer life, even took the time to explain how to program the truck for the different battery and how to charge the battery. We would have been so lost when we got home if not for them :) I saw the bad reviews before we arrived at the store, I can personally tell you that they are incorrect because it was a great experience and we will be a customer for life even when they move to the new location.

Had to drive an hour and a half to get to this store but it was totally worth it. Staff is friendly and helpful and they had everything I was looking for. Will definitely be telling my friends about this store and returning on the near future.

Great customer service and great prices. I recommend going there before you buy online or anywhere else. More than likely checkered flag is cheaper. I can honestly say the stuff I've bought there. I couldn't find it cheaper online.
