Bleu Restaurant and Bar

Beautiful restaurant, dim lighting definitely more upscale. Service was nice, drinks were always filled and food came out fast. I ordered the lobster ravioli and it was wonderful, ravioli was filled with straight lobster and they were stuffed, the cream sauce really made the dish and the mushroom paired great with the rest of the dish. My husband got the lamb and it was super tender with a great char on the outside. We were also served complimentary bread and an herb oil which was nice. Overall it was a great experience.

Bleu Restaurant and Bar saved a difficult situation for us when our reservations for 30 at another restaurant for our son's rehearsal dinner were cancelled 5 days prior to the event. Being from out of town, Bleu Restaurant was the first restaurant I called and explained my situation to the manager who picked up the ball and ran it in for a touchdown and extra points too! They accommodated our party, menu options, extras and service staff was amazing! We now have wonderful memories also. Will be returning when we are back in town. Herb Roasted chicken was wonderful as was the filet and salmon. Our family cannot thank Bleu enough. They welcomed us and embraced our dilemma and event. Amazing service!

Great service and food! I had the grilled salmon, mashed potatoes, and Brussel sprouts. Hubby had the pulled pork, collards, and fried okra.

This food was amazing. The lemon-wine sauce is a must! I order that over a filet mignon w/broccoli and potatoes. Wife ordered lobster ravioli. Kicked it all off with starter salads. This is a must if you're in the area. Coming back 100%. Our waitress Emma was also super sweet and attentive.

Quite the romantic atmosphere really. Ah, but the food is superb. Our waitress was excellent and the host/manager?/owner? was very professional and checked on us regularly. Meatloaf and Salmon meals were super tasty. Place is a wee hard to find but you will not be sorry you exited 40 to eat here. Highly recommended.

Bleu was able to take our last minute reservation for 26 guests and I couldn't have asked for better service. Our group's reservation at a different establishment was canceled 6 days prior to our event, and Bleu was able to accommodate us with no issues. We had our own private room that was spacious enough for our guest count. Our servers were extremely attentive to everyone's needs. Even with such a large group our orders came out as expected and everyone got their meals around the same time. The service was nicely orchestrated. Even down to the separation of the checks, the servers were on top of it. I had absolutely no complaints. If I even have a need for a restaurant to host a large gathering again in Winston-Salem, Bleu would be my first choice.

If you want a unique, flavorful experience that leaves your tastebuds pleasantly surprised with a desire for more, this is the place to visit. They provide an elegant interior design accompanied by well mannered staff and creative creations. The food is fresh and meticulously layered with all types of flavors. It’s colorfully plated through the use of vibrant vegetables and beautiful sauces, all wrapped together with a Cajun kick that’s balanced out nicely with a touch of creaminess and sweetness. For the price, we were not at all disappointed with our experience, and we would 100% return to order these exact dishes again and again.

This was my first visit, with family and after a funeral. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. They have glass cabinets at the entryway, you can see exactly what the alcohol selection is while you're waiting. The tables are quite perfectly distanced and yet everyone has an intimate setting for a conversation.

My uncle and his wife have been to the restaurant a great many times, took us out and I cannot say enough good things about ordering the catfish. There's a few photographs... It really doesn't do it justice. They talked up the entire menu and I believe them. I certainly plan on going back soon, with a romantic guest. I suggest anyone else reading this does the same.

The food is absolutely delicious. Everything is made in-house, and the attention to detail is evident in every dish. The bread is delivered to the table warm and soft, and the garlic pesto is a perfect accompaniment. The salmon was cooked perfectly, with crispy skin and a flaky interior. The roasted chicken was also juicy and flavorful.

The salads were fresh and crisp, and the dressings were classic and delicious. The desserts were also homemade, and the creme brulee was the best I've ever had.

The service was excellent. Our waitress, Michelle, was attentive and knowledgeable, and she made sure that we had everything we needed. The rest of the staff was also friendly and helpful.

The price was very reasonable for the quality of the food and service. We paid $120 for a party of two, which included appetizers, entrees, salads, desserts, and drinks.

The only thing I would change is more wine options by the glass.

Overall, Bleu Restaurant and Bar is an excellent choice for any occasion. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the price is very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

Stumbled on this gem while in town for a winter track event. The staff was attentive and efficient. The food was amazing, large portions. We had duck, bass and crumb seafood. Definitely on my list to return when in the area.

I went there with my mother last week. Family members mentioned it was delicious.Flavor was in those crab cakes I tell you. Being from up north. It's so nice to be down south. Where flavor is emphasized. Even the olive oil and pesto was scrumptious. I forgot our servers name.She was nice also, and my chocolate martini was very moist,try it!!

Everything was amazing and perfect, the food sublime and the atmosphere *chefs kiss*. We happened to be seated next to a loud, semi large group of coworkers who where celebrating the Christmas holidays, the manager and our server, at separate times offered to move us because they recognize how loud they were. Super nice, we have never recieve that kind of service before in a restaurant, but we told them no because we were actually entertained by the work holiday party they were having. We look forward to our family coming up and staying with us so we can take them here. Thank you Bleu for giving us a wonderful experience. Also we love the hand seats upfront.

My husband and I would go to the Bleu restaurant every time we went through Winston Salem, North Carolina. It's our favorite place to eat. The steaks there are incredible, the seafood is amazing. They have a plate for every season. I would get the summer plate full of vegetables and pasta salad. He would enjoy the surf and turf. Then when the meal was over, my husband would request to see the chef. He got to know him personally, and he would always compliment his cooking and give him a big tip. His name is Frank. We used to have a blast in North Carolina. Then after we got our belly full of all that magnificent food, we would stay at the Laquinta hotel, right next door to the restaurant. Sometimes we would go back the next day for lunch. The service is impeccable. The hospitality was awesome. We recommended this restaurant to all our friends. If you find yourself traveling through Winston Salem N.C. be sure to stop at the Bleu. Enjoy....Carolyn Santos

Fantastic food, service, and vibes. Great price for great quality. While I was eating I was immediately looking forward to the next time I can come back. I had the beet & goat cheese salad with grilled chicken. Delicious!

Stopped by when shopping in the area. My husband ordered the lamb. It was perfect and the risotto! Yum! The drinks were perfect and the food was great. The lighting is soft but also useful. Comfortable, clean. And attractive. We will be back!

Food appearance and taste match. The decor was filling and made me feel comfortable on the date. Only knock I had about the restaurant at all had nothing to do with the amazing culinary art being served up. Parking was tight and needed.

The food that Alicia (bar keep) recommended was wonderful.
She kept checking on me regularly and we had some fun conversation.
The food is fantastic, I enjoyed the she crab soup and the diver scallops.
The she crab soup did not have any sherry in it (like the classic does), but was well made with a great flavor. The scallop and risotto with shrimp was one of the best scallop dishes i have enjoyed in a long time.

We have had a good experience! Nice place and delicious food with great service! The waitress was very nice and tentative. My stake was cooked well done yet keeping it juicy and tender !
The only thing is I felt that our table was a bit to close to the other table beside us!
And the parking lot was full and barely found a spot to park!
Other than that great experience!

We have never had a bad experience here! The soup could be served a little warmer, but the Brie appetizer is out of this world and you can't beat their steaks and Brussels!!

Went very late for my birthday. 8:30p reservation. The staff was pleasant. The food was dynamite. If you get the lamb chops the mint risotto is out of this world.
