Kasturi Indian Cuisine

Nice place. This was my first time coming here. I looked up restaurants near by where I'm staying and this place had good reviews. On the walk in I was greeted right away and seated. The menu was very diverse with different things to choose from. I got the vegetable samosas and tandoori chicken. The food came out hot and steaming. It was also very flavorful. They were very busy and it looked like they were short staffed but they did a good job as far as getting to everyone.

First time really trying good Indian food. Srinivas walked us through the menu and recommended the London Sizzler which is what is pictured below. It was absolutely delicious and presentable. It had a little bit of everything, very savory but not overwhelmingly spicy. You can choose for most dishes the level of spiciness (sweet, mild, spicy) so it caters to everyone’s palate.
From the time we walked into the door service was polite, inviting, and clean.
Price was fairly inexpensive for the quality of food you get.
We will definitely be back again!

We ordered lamb khadai, chicken madras, aloo Gobi Masada, and the requisite raita and garlic naan, which of course was too much for two people, but that just means we have lunch for tomorrow as well. The gentleman serving us was lovely and very helpful. The food came out quickly and it was delicious!

Everything is great! I eat here at least monthly. I've never had to wait for a table. The food is excellent with plenty of variety and flavor profiles. They have tons of dietary options. It is sorta pricey around $15-20 per dish but great food and even better staff costs money. Worth every cent and I'll see you guys next month!

Very tasty food. Eager to serve staff. Definitely will return. Perhaps a bit of music would add to the atmosphere. Too quiet 😁 After talking with the Manager we determined why the music was off. We all had good laugh. Such a welcoming place. Give Kasturi a try!!

One additional note. The restaurant was extremely clean and well kept. I appreciate that.

I really enjoyed my meal here. I ordered a large takeout order online and waited at the bar while it was being prepared. The bartender was nice, and they had an interesting drink selection. The food was fantastic. I ordered during the dinner rush so my wait was a little long, but not longer than the time that was quoted. Definitely recommend.

Food really wakes up the palate. Everything we had was full of spice and packed with flavor. Our waiter was attentive. We were here for lunch around 12 midweek, and it was not busy at all. Love the decor and lighting. Will definitely return.

I love coming here for lunch. The lunch special is great but not on the menu you get three items, rice and bread plus dessert. Their food is consistently good.

Tried this restaurant on two separate occasions. Both times were satisfying as the food was full of flavor and a nice portion enough to feed one twice.

Recommend the shrimp briyani, chicken tikka masala, aloo gabi masala, and the chicken tandoori. The chicken tandoori was so moist and flavorful. The onions and peppers were cooked perfectly. I rarely order chicken tandoori because oftentimes it is dry and the veggies are undercooked. This is the best chicken tandoori I’ve ever had.

I have to admit the flavors here are on point. I'm not easily impressed with many restaurants in Winston when it comes to flavor. Many have a nice atmosphere but the flavor of the food is really lacking. Not here! I definitely recommend the kabob appetizer - 3 types of chicken that are all delicious and perfectly grilled shrimp! They also understand heat when you ask for "hot".

I travel all over North America for work. I’m in a different city almost daily. As an avid Indian food lover, (vegan), I will clearly say this is in my top 5 indian restaurants. It is definitely the best one in North Carolina as a whole.

By the looks of it you don’t expect much, but they actually put a lot of effort into the food! We come here every time we are in the area!
I have loved everything I have gotten from here and will return again!

This place is amazing! My mother & I stopped here for lunch & I ordered Gobi Manchurian, Dal Fry, & she got some kind of aloo curry - I am vegan & there are so many options on their menu! My mother was very happy with the meal as well, we watched the guys in the kitchen making our food & naan from scratch! Absolutely delicious & the staff was so friendly & kind! Beautiful atmosphere & very clean!

Went here for dinner and the food and atmosphere were phenomenal! We got the paneer tikka masala, dal fry, and vegetable samosas which were all delicious. Srinivas was our server and he was very kind and attentive. We will definitely be back!

I'm a vegetarian, husband eats meat and Thoroughly enjoyed the Chicken Curry. EXCELLENT DELICIOUS FOOD!!! So much variety, outstanding flavors! *Choose your spice level* which is perfect for me ;-) Intimate, peaceful atmosphere.
Srinivas was kind, courteous, and enjoyable to converse with. All of the staff was pleasant <3

Legit food. Mild + was perfect for me and I like some spice. Spouse got mild. Loved the palak paneer and garlic Naan was good (needed). Reasonable price. Went on Monday night so it was perfectly laid back.

Sriniyas’s service was PHENOMENAL.

The food here was AMAZING. I came here twice in one day and I may repeat the a following day; YES the food is THAT GOOD. I enjoyed Dal Makhani and the Vegatable Seekh Kabab. GRATITUDE TO THE CHEF THANK YOU SRINIYAS FOR A GREAT DINING EXPERIENCE

We had a such a delightful dinner here. The food was amazing! Rahul was so very attentive and gracious making sure our experience there was perfect. I can’t wait to go back to try some of the other dishes. Would highly recommend!!!!

The food was amazing. I never really eat spicy food but this was amazing u actually taste the food and the spice was just perfect everything was fresh and hot. The waiter was helpful on the gluten free which was good cause my son has celiac will return
