Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Winston-Salem Hanes Mall

On Tuesday, May 21,2024, we attended a funeral and stayed here. We drove 5hrs to get here and needed to change clothes before going to the funeral. We were able to be checked in long before our check in time so that I could get dressed in the hotel room vice the public restroom. Reme was AMAZING! We will always use this location when we come to Winston-Salem because of the high standards of customer service and the cleanliness of this brand! We love the Marriott brand of hotels❣

The front desk was super friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable, and shower pressure was great. Variety of breakfast items and plenty of parking. This hotel is also in a good area with many amenities accessible. I would definitely stay here again.

The customer service at this hotel is exceptional. We will be repeat visitors. The breakfast was good, the hotel and rooms were clean. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I would like to say as an experienced custodial worker for a hospital, this hotel gets a 10 star rating on cleaniness. Super clean hotel from lobby to the rooms. We enjoyed our one night stay. It was clean, quiet, and the staff was friendly. The hot breakfast selection was plenty and delicious. The pool was super clean. They even have a great choice of snack bar with medicine for health concerns. 10 stars for my review!

My room was very clean, and everything worked as it should. I had the king suite that had a separate bedroom. Very comfy bed and furniture, I was pleasantly surprised how clean everything was. Ice machine was broken but they have mini fridges in the room to get your drinks cool. TVs were HUGE .. we had the ac going all night so didn't notice any road noise Front desk person's were great. Greeted with a smile and took time to recap the door policy (locks at night) and breakfast We will certainly make this our place to stay when travelling.

Every single person we interacted with was exceptionally kind. The rooms were clean (I'm a stickler for this). The location was unbeatable. My only complaint, it's entrance was under construction. No issue, just a little inconvenience.

Great hotel! Good breakfast that changed daily and was fresh & area was clean. Breakfast was available until 10am which was really nice. Coffee bar available around the clock. Lots of places to sit and congregate. We were there with our track team and all hotel staff was amazing, especially Michelle. Rooms were clean and a very important thing to me is the AC was clean and cold!

Just stayed at this property this past weekend and it was fantastic! Traveled to Winston-Salem with 10 other families for a soccer tournament and had the best experience ever at this hotel. The property was clean, safe and well prepared to host a large group like ours. ALL of the staff made us feel totally welcome and cared for and went out of their way to be accommodating during the entirety of our 5 day stay. Janet and Pamela were particularly helpful and we really enjoyed our time at this hotel. Would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling with a large group! The staff here is THE BEST!!

We stayed here for Thanksgiving while visiting relatives. The person at check-in was one of the most pleasant front-of-the-house staff I have met in some time. She even suggested some wineries in the area for black Friday.

The hotel was clean. We had a king suite, which is basically a king with a sofa to sit on instead of two queen beds. The room was clean with everything you needed for a night's stay. The bathroom was clean and bright. I really enjoyed the strong water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was the typical make-your-own waffles, breakfast meats, yogurts, and fruit.

I am not sure of the regular rates, but we paid $119 with AAA and felt it was worth the money. We would stay again.

We have received excellent service during our 5 night stay! John Lu at the front desk has been exceptional! He is always kind and helpful. We highly recommend staying at this property!

I would stay here again just for hot cocoa bar. I stay on the road a lot and this is a good one.

Rooms were nice and complimentary breakfast was good. Currently has some renovation work going on at the front entrance, but no issues of noise or entering and leaving the hotel through a back entrance.

We are Bonvoy members. Really like this Marriott chain. People are always very friendly and helpful right down to the cleaning and repair people. Off season the rates are extremely reasonable which helped me decide to pick this hotel. On site free parking and complimentary breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here about 2 months ago and really enjoyed this property because the room was nice and cleaned. But the best of all is the staff here. The treat guests with hospitality and truly kind to everyone. I choose to stay here even though my meeting is a little more than 41 miles away in Greensboro. Thank you to the staff and what they are doing everyday to take care of their guests.

We walked in for an unplanned stay and got a great room with a huge bathroom and a cool suite situation. Partial wall but two rooms with tvs! Bed was truly one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on and great shower and water pressure...met nice guests at the pool and everyone was very friendly. Building a little dated but rooms are clean and looks recently redecorated. Pet friendly

Clean rooms. The suites are very spacious. The breakfast was great and better than most free ones, spinach quiche, waffles, fresh fruit and yogurt. We'll return if in the area.

The hotel is what one would expect for a Marriot property. Clean comfortable and decent breakfast.

There was one outstanding employee. She worked in the breakfast area. Great attitude, nice to everyone and very diligent. Jannette is here name. If anyone deserves recognition it is her.

This is our first choice when visiting Winston-Salem. It's right off the highway and within a 10 minute drive to nearly everything you need or want. The rooms are always clean, coffee stays ready, and the staff are always helpful and pleasant. The cleaning crew is THE BEST!
