The Weaverville Main Street Nature Park is hidden behind Main Street, but is a great little semi-forested walk! My family and I go there often when we go downtown and enjoy the flowers, birds and trees.

There is a little creek as well that is very enjoyable there. This is a great place for quiet contemplation, reading a book, getting some work done or play with family/friends.

They keep it very clean and it is available to all. They have summer concerts here as well which is greatly appreciated by the locals. Thanks for having this park and it really is a great addition to the town!

We walked around this park daily during our stay on main street while searching for a permanent residence. It is beautiful, very nice walking paths small streams with bridges, birds, squirrels, trees with the occasional happiness stone find. (which I left for others to enjoy after a photo)

Nice and peaceful park trail in downtown Weaverville. Perfect place for a solo walk, family time, or a stroll with your dog. Right across the street from all of the cute shops and the parking lot is so convenient.

This park is really cute and well taken care of. It's not a very big park but it is perfect to bring kids or walk your dog. It looks great for a picnic for families. There is a lovely stream near the park and it is very tranquil. We will be coming back.

Very nice park! Enough trail to walk for about 15 minutes and mostly in the shade. Well kept park too. You might even see local artists painting or sketching while using an easel. Read the park rules/ordinances posted near the parking lots.

This is a nice place to stretch your legs and enjoy nature without leaving downtown.

Local Scout troops have cleared and mulched a lot of the trails as service projects in cooperation with the town. Very considerate. Quiet stroll just off the main drag. Only complaint is that although the city provides bags and waste disposal stations there's always those self-centered people who just flat won't clean up after their dogs, leaving it for the rest of us to step in hot, steaming landmines of poo. People regularly walk their big dogs off leash, too, so bring a walking stick if you don't want them jumping up on you. Will never understand why some folks refuse to be considerate and think only of themselves. Karma's a you know what.

Small but nice park, generally quiet and not busy. Very convenient access from Main Street (where the clock tower is) or from Pine Street. It has various walking trails, open meadows, a small creek/pond, and a few benches and sculptures. There are not many benches so I typically bring a picnic blanket to sit on. This is a great place to bring your dog because it is not nearly as busy as Lake Louise.

What a great place right downtown Weaverville. And the town does such a great job maintaining the park.

I come here to walk my dog when I'm in the area and lake louis park is overcrowded. Main street nature park has less people in it and a few different paths of walking trails with a small creek with flowing water. It has a portable toilet for the public. Not great, would prefer if they installed real public bathrooms but it's there in case you desperately need to use it. This nature park is a lot more peaceful and quiet lately as compared to the overcrowded other parks around the area.

Beautiful wide open areas with a trail and is pet friendly. Definitely will return when I have time. The birds chirp and the breeze felt so nice. It was bliss and very peaceful. Not too loud, but still close to town.

A really sweet place to walk with you small dog. Creeks, beautiful benches and parking on Main Street with accessible parking behind the library. Mulched paths are not great for wheels but awesome for feet: 2 or 4!

Really cute and secluded park. Has lots of shade, places to sit for a picnic, and a few walking paths. Saw a few people playing music, including some bongos

Great place. Local Boy Scout troops have done some great projects here. I was surprised one day to show up for a walk only to find the city employees working in various capacities and not a single one of them wearing a mask. Not one. So much for the sign on main street about the city enforcing its own regulations. Also, our experience is that the runners huffing and puffing through the park are Communist Sympathizers spreading their Commie virus because they don't have enough red, white & blue patriotism coursing through their veins to believe they should protect their fellow Americans by wearing a mask. Shame. Quieter than Lake Louise.
