Maggie B's Wine & Specialty Store

This is a really cozy cafe & wine bar in downtown Weaverville. They do excellent cheese and charcuterie boards to complement their abundant wine selection. On our most recent visit we stopped by for a quick lunch. I had the pimiento cheese panini and my mom had their club sandwich on gluten free bread. We appreciate that they have vegan cheese and gluten free options, as well as a few vegetarian choices on the menu. Whenever I’m home in NC I always have pimiento cheese and there’s was one of the best, like classic homemade pimiento cheese. You can’t beat their prices either. It’s counter service only but they are incredibly friendly and efficient.

We ended up in downtown Weaverville and found Maggie B's. It's so cute. Awesome wine selection and the lunch was amazing. The prices are reasonable and the staff is super friendly. We highly recommend the cheese tray. It was a perfect pairing for a chilled glass of Chardonnay ❤

It's a fun place, wonderful people, delicious food, The wine is the best. You feel like you're in your own living room.
You may go in as a stranger, but come out as a friend. Love the people.

9/22/2023: Great place to meet a friend and enjoy great wine. Enjoyed the cheese plate with olives. Wine tasting on Friday night is a great way to pick your wine choice. Great place to purchase a bottle of wine and share with friends. Great atmosphere with friendly, professional staff. There is also a good selection of food to pair with wine.

Great time as always. We like to go after a long week at work and they never rush us out at closing. Thank you for that and for the delicious plates.

Maggie B’s is an intimate “happy place” with an excellent wine selection, delicious & healthy food offerings, and a welcoming atmosphere perfect for sharing a meal or reading. The staff is exceptional in their kindness and knowledge.

Stopped by for a coffee and to meet up with our realtor. While there I had a rueben panini and my wife had the veggie panini both were full of flavor. Heading there again 5/26 for happy hour and another sandwich or just try something else.

Met my ex co-workers there for lunch. The food and atmosphere is always appealing and relaxing and good. I had a special theywere having. Spinach wrap with roast beef stuffed with lots of other good stuff in it. Cranberry mayo, lettuce, tomatoes. It was so delicious 😋.

Always the best experience! Friendly team, delicious food, and an excellent selection of beer and wine. It's the greatest!

Fresh sandwiches, lovely soups and fine desserts can be had here. Eat outside for a fun street-side view. Also check out their nice selection of gourmet cheese.

A little treasure chest full of delightful homemade treats and a pretty good selection of wines and specialty drinks.The ambiance of the place is clean,cozy and welcoming that also offers a outdoor patio right on the mainstreet drag to sit back and watch scenery pass as you drift into the weaverville abstract with a cold one. But more than anything though it was the staff that really set this place on the map for me when I need a little chill time downtown rather than others in close proximity.

If you have not tried this place out, you are missing out on a great place to eat. Don't let the name fool you, Maggie B's serves outstanding food as well as the best selection of wines in the area! Any sandwich with their house made jalapeños pimento cheese will rock your taste buds! Coupled with the fact that the owners and staff family will treat you like you're family, in true southern hospitality form, makes this place a MUST!!!

Maggie B's is always a fun destination, but is even more a delight most Friday evenings when guest wine distributors feature new wines in a free tasting. My wife and I discovered ten years ago that Maggie B's Friday night tastings were a great place to make new friends - everyone in Weaverville shows up eventually. And we still are still meeting new and interesting people ten years later. Maggie B's has a deli type selection of cheeses and meats, and they make great sandwiches. And, oh yes, they have a carefully curated selection of very nice and reasonably priced wines.

I love this place. My wife and I usually come here to steal some quiet time with a glass of wine and some snacks in the afternoon. The selection of wines by the glass is always great and the food, especially the cheese, offered is really high quality for the prices asked. We love Maggie B's and will be back many times.

My husband works in Weaverville and has been raving about the lunch they serve. Yesterday I decided to pop in after working a bit from my new office in town and tried the Grilled Jalapeno Pimento Cheese sandwich with tomato and ham, it really hit the spot. There were so many good selections of hot and cold sandwiches available, and if you're ever there during your cocktail hour, they do wine tastings as well. This is a special little find in downtown Weaverville that I can't wait to get to know better.

A wonderful space owned by fantastic people who not only offer a great glass of wine but care for the community as well. My wife and I love the atmosphere and all Maggie B's has to offer. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a sweet date night or just a break from the bustle of everyday life.

Great sandwiches, easy going and friendly staff. Lunch was fresh and awesome. Definitely returning here for one of there wine/beer tastings or for a date night.
