I don't usually leave reviews, but I had exceptional service with Melissa. I needed help with quotes and which unit would be best for what I needed. She was very knowledgeable and wasn't pushy. I appreciated her helpfulness & honesty. I would absolutely recommend her & this storage facility!!.

Melissa was pleasant, she explained everything clearly. I'm renting out a pod, which was clean and roomy. The property was neat and clean as well. With easy access code and easy to remember!

I have nothing but great things to say about Shields Road Storage. The experience of almost 8 years with two climate controlled units has been exceptional. I never worried about the safety or security of our belongings be it from theft or weather conditions (leaks) or from pests. I never felt afraid accessing my units at night or during after-hours. And the staff has always been nothing but friendly, helpful, and gracious when I have done business or asked for assistance with them. I was always impressed that they have outside storage space for cars, campers, motorcycles, and boats. I have dealt with both office staff and maintenance staff and they were professional and really friendly. I am actually a bit sad leaving this place and experience and only doing so because we don’t need it anymore, not because of dissatisfaction. And I would definitely use them again if the occasion arises which I feel is the highest recommendation a client can give.

Shields Road Self Storage has to be one of the best I have ever used. They offer Climate Controlled units, outdoor units, and the only place in town offering outside parking for vehicles and trailers. The units are clean and well lit, and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! The security is top-notch with gates to the property and cameras recording every entry and exit. The staff is exceptional and are glad to help people find exactly what meets their needs. I would recommend this storage facility to anyone!

I am not one to leave a reviews, I just normally read them. However, I thoroughly appreciate Rhonda and her willingness to update me as unit became available. I was struggling to find a large climate control and Rhonda continuously updated me as she found out more information on upcoming availability. Needless to say, I was able to obtain a climate control unit when I was about to settle for an outdoor unit elsewhere. Unit was clean, service was excellent, and left smiling. Will recommend this business to anyone in the surrounding areas of Kernersville.

Me and my wife are storing furniture in one of their CC units while we remodel our living room, and this was the perfect place for what we needed. Great to work with and very clean units! Great to deal with -- I secured a 10x20 Climate Controlled Unit -- I thought this would be big enough and as it turned out it was not. It was the end of day and already signed the paperwork for the unit and everyone was gone. I called the next morning and they were all so great to work with and tried to find me a larger unit or two units that could possibly work.. unfortunately we could not find anything that would work but they refunded me and understood the situation. When other storage needs come up I am positive that I will call and store with Shields Road Self Storage if a unit is available. Thanks again and sorry it did not work out this time around

Very clean. Clerk was there past closing time and came to the door to motion she was willing to assist in my rental any way. A blessing since I was in serious need as this was on a Saturday and I needed the unit badly.

This has to be the BEST place to Rent a Storage Space in the Triad area.
