A very caring provider.

I went in for an appointment and was showed into a small office with two women who introduced themselves (I don't remember their names unfortunately). The woman behind the desk started typing on her computer as soon as she began to ask me questions. As I told her of my opinion as to why I may have a memory deficit, she responded, "so you wonder why the doctors who did surgery on you have not acknowledged that the anesthesia had some effect on your memory deficit? I responded, "Why do you think they are actually going to provide me an answer or response regarding that issue?" I was expecting to receive an answer, but none came. Another question or two was posed by the interrogator and I interposed in response to my 13 operations within four and a half years (2012-2016 being mentioned), I asked the question quite seriously, what do you suppose it would be like to have no ankles? She didn't look up, she continued to type on her computer, and ignored me by trying to change the subject. I asked the question again about having no ankles and she ignored me completely. By this time I felt that she was being so rude that I said, " If you are going to ask all the questions and not have the kindness or consideration to answer any of my questions,
then we can halt this appointment immediately because that is not the way I expect to be treated." She ignored my statement and proceeded to remind me who was in control and how things were going to be. I decided to end this Gestapo interrogation gathered my briefcase and left the room without another word.
I have never been treated with such disrespect in the course of a first time or introductory meeting in my life. She and her office will never have the opportunity to offer me such discourtesy, unkindness or imperiousness again. If she attempts to charge me for two minutes of such treatment, I shall protest vehemently.
