Winston's Grille

I was told this place had the best French Dip sandwich in Raleigh; after eating there, I am comfortable echoing that sentiment.

A bit on the pricier side, but the service was top notch (great job Diane!) and the food was excellent. I will definitely be going here again and trying other menu items.

We have been all around NC and hands down this is a first, 5 stats in every category. Our waitress was awesome and food was amazing. Everything was clean and the food quality was top notch!! This is now my favorite restaurant in NC!!!!

You will definitely want to make a reservation because this is a very popular restaurant.
The quality of the food was exceptional and to be honest, the food was less expensive than I thought it would be.
The dip was delicious, and my only complaint was that there should have been more of it 😋. The ribs were so tender and flavorful. My husband enjoyed his pasta dish as well.

The atmosphere was classy but not stuffy. Our server was friendly and made some great recommendations.
We will go back soon!

I have not been here in years, and it was as good as I remember. I had the southwest salad and it was spectacular! Chicken with chipotle glaze was great. Others had chicken salad and wedge. Everything is very fresh and very tasty. Rolls were also freshly made and very tasty. Definitely recommend. Very accommodating with my service dog.

I have lived in the area for years and honestly, it was until this year that I went there and I just realized what I have been missing. The atmosphere is great, really nice place to go with family, friends, on a date, and even by yourself. They have a great bar area section. The service was great, our server was super friendly and efficient. The food took a bit to get to the table, granted, the place was packed, despite that small inconvenience, the food was great! Yes, I have seen some comments about "price of food" but remember, you are paying for quality food as well as a nice atmosphere, and like any other place due to inflation, they have gone up on pricing. The food was great! Highly recommend it! 🔥🔥🔥

Everytime I order a Togo salad from Winston’s, it is so fresh and so delicious. I am very picky about my salads since a lot of restaurants in Raleigh won’t hesitate to use old lettuce, especially on a Togo order. You can taste the difference at Winston’s. Affordable, quality ingredients, delicious options… I would give them 10 stars if I could. The atmosphere feels like a clean house on a fall day with the windows open, it is so comfortable and such a beautiful, well taken care of-establishment. I have been a customer here for close to 10 years now and I am just amazed with how they’ve preserved the high standard of the restaurant and food while other places have lost their luster.

Excellent food and service. We tried the shrimp and grits along with a half chicken.
The shrimp and grits was literally the best I ever tasted and the chicken was juicy and tasted fantastic.
My friend has a gluten allergy and they have a large selection of gluten free options

Celebrated the husbands birthday at Winston's. This was our second time dining in at this restaurant. The food is very good and plentiful. The dinner rolls will cause you to go off your diet. 😂 Our waitress was amazing and made sure all of our requests and needs were met. I had the cashew crusted salmon and although I do not like cashews the food was top notch delicious. One additional plus is that we originally had reservations set for 6 in the evening but had some free time in the day so called the restaurant to see if they could move us to 4 pm, which they did. Definitely worth checking this restaurant out.

My friend and I went to Winston Grille on a Tuesday in March. Winston Grille always has a nice atmosphere. Our waitress was Diane and provided superb service sharing their specials and making recommendations. She always checked on us on food and beverage. She suggested the pork shank with grits instead of mash potatoes. The shank was tender I just didn’t like the peppercorn specs of season so I removed them. The grits were tasty for a change. Thanks Diane!

We eat at Winston's Grill regularly. This time we got a takeout to bring to our daughter, son-in-law, and 2 little grandsons. Winston's made it so easy with curbside pickup! It was hot and so good to all of us! What a treat! We will do it again!

This is an updated review. The inside decor catches my eye upon entering the establishment. My husband and I was warmly greeted by the hostesses. There are enormous drop down lights over the bar area as we were seated. The server was friendly and attentive to our request. I had the salmon entree which was so good
This entree came with rice and a veggie mix. My husband ordered the ribeye option which was cooked to his taste.Complementing our meal, the hubby and I shared a scrumptious dessert. Good atmosphere just added for a fantastic meal experience

HOLY DESSERT!
I usually stuff myself with the entree and pass on dessert, but they bring out a tray of delicious looking desserts and couldn't pass it up glad we didn't. The puff pastry was amazing and I can't wait to go back for more.
The ribs and salmon were very good. Very nice setting inside and the service was great. Will definitely be coming back for more. Great for a family dinner, date night, or just hungry. One of the best places I've had dinner at in Raleigh.

I stopped in here with a business associate/friend for a lunch meeting. And what can I say it was awesome. We came around 1 and there was no waiting and we were served quickly. The restaurant was super clean and the staff was very friendly. I ordered the New Orleans Gumbo Soup bowl and my friend ordered a quesadilla plate. The food was delicious and we were both very pleased. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area and you're looking for a nice restaurant to stop in and talk and chat while you eat a good meal. The ambient environment there is very friendly and relaxing, the service is great, and the food is delicious so you can't go wrong. 👍

Love Winston's Grille. I would suggest you make reservations to go! Went on Dec. 22. This is very popular! The seating was great. My husband's steak was cooked perfectly. My ribs were fantastic. Grilled to perfection. It was a great evening with superb service!

Shrimp and grits 10/10 delicious. Buffalo wings yummy. Crab dip was tasty.

I’m a vegetarian, and the main menu has almost no meat-free dishes—but Winston’s actually is vegetarian friendly as long as you say something to the waiter. They have a complete alternative menu available: the front lists vegetarian and vegan dishes, and the back has gluten-free dishes. I can’t speak to the gluten-free options, but the vegan and vegetarian choices are excellent!

Winston 's Grille is the place to have a cozy meal with friends, family, or with the one you love ❤. The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful. It's present an elegant atmosphere with various levels of managing guest, meaning small groups or large groups, inside or outside. It is spectacular. The associates greet you with a warm welcoming smile and the service tableside was excellent and speedy. Plenty of seating and the meals were off the hook. I would suggest making a reservation because it's just that busy. Seating is based on the number in your group, but if it's for two, and a very special occasion, then be sure to share that note when calling. Window seating is very popular, especially for those love birds. ❤🥰 In our group of five, we had a very good associate and the meal was off the chain. We had appetizers, salads, steak, ribs, French fries, and dessert...Wow that was Excellent! My dessert, Tuxedo Cake was soooooo good, that those in my party just had to taste it. Here's a secret, the sample display is a good representation. The portion was WoW off the chain!!!! More than I expected. Look, Istop by and see for yourself. But Let's not forget to do some important things first, share a hug, be kind, and call someone and tell them you love them. Pay it Forward while you can. Awesome experience! The food was excellent, very generous portions. Drink refills were perfectly timed, and servers were pleasant and checked often. Perfect business lunch place, private and quiet room well spaced tables with a nice view.

Arrived for lunch and loved this spot. Staff was so kind and the food was delicious. They offer a patio and with the weather becoming nicer I look forward to dining there on my next visit.

Friendly staff. Good food and great vibes. My new "go to." Check them out if you haven't visited just yet. Try the rotisserie chicken with grits and collards. Don't cheat yourself out of a dessert helping - the bananas foster is EPIC.
