Harris Teeter

Never had a bad experience at all at this Harris Teeter. Bathroom is to the left front corner as you walk in, though it’s not incredibly clean. The customer service desk was very friendly and super helpful. Checkout lines are generally short with self checkout as well.

I was stopping in today to grab some groceries and an employee noticed my limp (I suffered a stroke a little over a month ago). Whereas most people just graze over me clinking around with my cane, or even give me agitated looks, Pam took the time to talk with me for a few minutes and even pray with me regarding my illness. There couldn’t be a better representative of a company out there; she literally made my day. We need more people like Pam in this world.

Store was very clean and neat as usual.
Clerk was rude and needs further customer service training.

Still a wonderful time always. 11-1-21. This is an update. I found even more reasons to love Harris Teeter. Hassan at the Pizzeria. Pizzeriasta?????? Welp. I couldn't decide what i wanted for lunch and the beautiful bready aroma coming from a few feet away. I saw a couple standing at a window and waiting. I walked over and oh yeah pizza. But. pizza so many different varieties. So our Pizzeriasta suggested halfves. slices. Custom made and handed us a slip of paper with pencil. Wow. We got one slice of each 6 pizzas. Score!!!!!! Margherita, cheese, pepperoni, sausage greek and the works!!!! also. Thank You for my winter reading list Matt!!!

Edit: They must have read my review because they got new baskets. The last 2 times I went there was a stack of 20+ waiting for me at the door.

The store is well stocked and every employee I've interacted with is helpful and friendly, but management needs to invest in new carts and baskets. I've never seen more than 3 baskets available at the front and 90% of the time there are 0 available. Recently there have also been 0 carts.

There are employees constantly gathering the carts from the lot, but only ever in batches of 3 or 4 because there aren't enough carts to cycle through.

The lack of baskets also leads to problems at the self checkout, because it gets very crowded with everyone unloading a cart in the small space.

Please just buy more baskets and this would be a great location.

I drive to NC to be seen at Duke & always stop at HT on the way back to Virginia.
Why because it's to top drawer of grocery stores, clean, well stocked, huge variety & above all very reasonably priced. I just love shopping here.

Harris Teeter never fails to get it right. If they don’t just let them know and they get it right. My number one place to shop for groceries. Forget Food Lion. Don’t even bother.

I love this Harris Teeter. It's my go to neighborhood store and I just realized today, that I often take it for granted. The employees here are super friendly and are always willing to go out of their way for the customer. So grateful this is my Harris Teeter.

One of my favorites stores to shop at. They offer a wide range of hard to find items. Sale items are usually available no need for a rain check. Overall shopping experience very favorable

Customer service here is exemplary. Most Harris Teeters have "good" customer service, but this particular one is a step above. And as always, products are great quality. This Harris Teeter is by far my favorite "go to" grocery store.

Very Clean store. They have Great Special on ANGUS BEEF SHORT RIBS! STAFF , Cashiers are very friendly. I was over charged on my plums one day. Manger was very nice 😁and refund the total price.

I just have to give a shout out to the pharmacy staff at Harris Teeter. I am always trying to save money on scripts and they helped me utilize the good rx coupons and showed me how to save more money recently when I really needed to. They really went the extra mile and I can tell they really care about helping their customers. I felt like they really cared about me getting what I needed and did their best to alleviate the financial pinch! It was a great experience when I really needed it!

I’ve always heard how expensive Harris Teeter is. Some things are more expensive, but this is usually offset by the items on sale. Like the two pork TENDERloins I purchased. 2 for the price of one! My bill was $92.35 before using my Harris Teeter card. After, it was $60 even. I wasn’t even shopping for deals. Nice, clean well stocked store.

Folks, why are you paying 2.5x more for your subs when you can walk into ANY Harris Teeter store for the best subs around? You know the delicious subs that cost 11.00. However, my subs are more delicious to me because I only PAID 3.99 for a half sub made per my instructions on line. On Fridays the large sub is only 5.99! It's always ready and always on point. This is the HT in the 6000 block of Falls if Neuse. And, they have the best wheat bread around! Check it out for yourself. Put it together on line, then pick up...ooooh, so good!

Open 24 hours! Staff is friendly, the guys in the butcher department are always helpful and knowledgeable. The VIC specials help me save lots of money, and it's usually good stuff. Definitely better than Fresh Market or Food Lion on price and quality, respectively.

Edit: They have a pizza station! Get it by the slice or order a whole pie made fresh for you. Special prices on Monday. This place never lets me down

I'm a big fan of Harris Teeter, having prior grocery store business experience. This unit lives up to that expectation. It sits in a great location, the facility is up to date, and the store well merchandised. Had minor issues in finding some items for the first time, but they were there. Enjoyed some contact with the staff. Checkout is quick, for that lasting positive impression. I will return.

Vera in the bakery does amazing work. She was able to walk me through what they had avaliable and possible designs for the cakes we need for our company party.

Consistently exceeds expectations. The best grocery store that I have ever visited. Great customer service and involved management. This store is a model for how all businesses should be run. Adding a pharmacy is exciting. I will be switching my meds to them this month. Great job HT team!!!
