Irregardless

Haven't been to Irregardless in years, no particular reason why and I won't wait that long before going back next time. Irregardless takes particular care to offer interesting vegan, vegetarian and meat options so there is something for everyone. I had the market fish which was a superb piece of swordfish, the dish was delicious. The table also ordered the Eggplant Sichuan which was tasty but I think could have used more chili sauce. Our waiter was attentive and frankly entertaining throughout the evening making for a very enjoyable evening all around.

Food was delicious. Pot roast had a ‘curry’ flavor. But was very tasty and well prepared. However, the veges to meat ratio was not great. Just 9 cubed piece of meat. I thought there should have been bit more pieces then what we got, and lesser of the abundance of vegetables in it. The root veges were amazing.

Everything was delicious. I found this place online and it had very good reviews so decided to give it a try. We're so glad we did. The food and service was excellent. We were seated outside and it was nice to breathe in fresh air and enjoy good food. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. It is worth every penny.

It was a mild chilly after thanksgiving Friday early afternoon. We had a friend visiting from out of town and I wanted to go to a Raleigh staple.

In came Irregardless, a classic diner style restaurant with an eclectic menu.

We were in for a treat as they had their brunch items on the menu. Chicken and waffles are amazing, arguably the best friend chicken in Raleigh.

The menu is known for having plenty of good vegan options as well.

Service is great, they definitely make you feel at home.

We will continue to go back.

Food is excellent. Quantity is small but fresh and tasty. Price is on the high side. Atmosphere is good. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Usually there’s live music, but was barely audible with the crowd noise. Parking is available in the street and empty lot close by.

We have been coming to Irregardless since 2017 and over the years the food has never disappointed. We have mostly been here for the weekend brunches. And oh man, that can get really crowded. You always want to be there when it opens. Recently we tried their lunch for the first time and that was great too. The menu is inclusive and there is something for everyone. The interiors are casual and laid back and I have always remembered the staff to be nice and courteous. Special mention to their waffles which was delicious according to my 3 year old! I tried the open face sandwich from their lunch menu which was so good, that I tried to replicate it at home. Their garden frittata has been another favorite. We are yet to try their dinner menu, so that's surely on the list.

The service and food were great. My daughter is vegan, so this is a great option. It’s best to make a reservation if you want to eat inside. There was an hour wait if we wanted to eat inside, so we just grabbed an outside table. A bit cold, but that didn’t stop us. My burger was fantastic. The fries were excellent. If you have a vegan and a carnivore in your fam or cliche, this place is a great option.

Great service and atmosphere. I can’t complain about the food either. Very pleased by my experience. I Ordered the Pollo con Molo, the vegan calamari is also very good

Excellent fusion cafe with a number of vegetarian and vegan options. Food is great, service is great - great drinks menus.

Really loved this place. The food was spectacular. The service was fantastic. I loved the atmosphere the live music created.

The artwork in the place creates a fun vibe. The vegan scones that they just give you were incredible.

I loved the salmon hash. Very tasty. Just don't take friends here that don't realize they are getting gluten free waffles. Things won't go according to expectation for them.

First time dining at Irregardless for my husband’s bday brunch. It was bustling, so thankfully we had a reservation! The wait staff were super friendly and attentive. Mini scones were brought to the table while we waited for our meal. The food choices all looked amazing! It was hard to choose! They have something for everyone…vegans and non vegans alike! Everything we ordered and ate was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back!

Blocks off the main road, you’re not likely to accidentally walk into Irregardless unless you’re looking for it but it has managed to survive serving Raleigh food for almost 50 years. After tasting the food here it’s obvious how they did it, they make good food here. My wife and I started with cocktails. The Depeche Mode is a creamy rum drink with tiki vibes and they make a good old fashioned if you ask nicely. The grilled peach salad was everything I want from a salad: not over dressed but dressed well, balanced flavors and multiple textures. They obviously know how to make a salad and they split the salad and brought it on 2 plates without us asking them to when we told them we were going to share it which was a nice surprise. We got salmon and a quinoa salad on sweet potato for our dinner entrees and both were delicious. I’m judgmental of restaurants that don’t have salt and pepper on the table if the seasoning is not perfect and some bites, for me, wanted more salt but I still loved my meal. On my second visit I came in for brunch. My wife had the standard breakfast, and she liked it. I had the chicken and waffles. The seasoning on the chicken was okay but the chicken was overcooked and the waffle was just okay. I like my waffles a little crispy but these were not. The syrup was however was fantastic. They don’t give you a lot, but it’s magic. That said, I will try something else if I come back in for brunch.

There’s brunch and then there’s brunch!

We’re always on the hunt for a great brunch spot and we stumbled upon a gem! We loved the food, ambiance and service. The food was super yummy. I got the smoked salmon hash and it had big chunks of smoked salmon. I could eat this every week! My wife got the frittata and thought it was really good. Since it was our first time, we decided to also order drinks and a dessert.

So thankful that they take reservations! A huge plus is they have live music. It really set the mood.

Wait staff was on top of every aspect of our meal. Drinks were delicious and the food was fresh and delicious!

A fantastic brunch spot in Raleigh! It has a busy, vibrant vibe and welcoming atmosphere. Our waitress, Aurora, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be returning, and this is the perfect spot to bring friends/family when they visit. Highly recommend the huevos rancheros & Belgian waffles.

Really comfy but lively place with delicious food at a reasonable price. We stopped in for brunch with our 3 year old son. I had the asparagus omelette, my wife had the brisket hash, and our son had the pasta with marinara sauce. The side salad was exceptionally yummy, which was a very pleasant surprise. Our server was very friendly and understanding of our dietary restrictions. You should pay them a visit!

As someone who needs to eat DF and GF this restaurant is a Godsend. I ordered via Uber eats this evening and by calling directly was assisted by a very polite woman on the phone who so patiently worked with me to modify my order to meet my needs. Ordered 2 entrees and 1 dessert. Arrived at my house with generous portions. I will be able to have 2-3 more meals this week with leftovers. We have also dined in and enjoyed it as well. Very thankful for this restaurant and the kind staff!

I have a good experience, brunch menu was decent. I had trouble parking but will be back for sure!

My go-to spot in Raleigh. Food is remarkably unique. Atmosphere is cozy yet energetic, particularly if you visit on weekends when they have live music. On nice days, there's outdoor seating on the sidewalk facing Morgan Street.
