The Fresh Market

Very interesting and unique grocery store for the area. They have a lot of European and other import groceries that you can’t find anywhere else in addition to more standard American products that are very high quality.

The most impressive sections were easily the bakery and butcher. They have real Black Forest cake, which is an easy win for us, but all of their bread and pastries selection looked amazing. The butcher spans pretty much the entire back of the store and offers not only in-house cuts and a deli, but also what appears to be house-made sausages and other delicacies. The ready-made/take home kit section also blows local competition out of the water.

We’ll definitely be back once we make it through all this bread, cake, and pot pie.

At the last minute I had a few extra guests coming for x-mas dinner and I had gone into the store to add to my current order. I was told they didn't have any order for me in there system. One of the managers (he was an Indian man) saved the day!!! Not only did he put in a new order for me I was able to add to it. Coffee selection is amazing!!!

Love this store, clean with a wonderful selection of groceries, wines and beer, flowers, prepared food and deli - just feels right!

Wide variery of produce, meats, seafood, prepared entrées, sides, and appetizers. Excellent selections of cheese, bakery items, beer, wine, and so very much more. Friendly and helpful staff. Always a great experience.

I bought a Holliday dinner and the service was outstanding; the manager Jack Fleeger was very helpful so was Alyssa the Cashier

Such a clean and well-stocked store. Smells amazing too. My cashier today was a young woman who was so cheerful and genuine. It’s hard to find customer service like that anymore. 3 other people working the floor - 2 younger men and one older woman working in the floral area - also greeted me and were so kind. The store has amazing coffee to sample while you shop. I ended up buying a bag of their seasonal peppermint coffee, after sampling!

Excellent place for all your grocery needs. Quality in everything. Staff are always professional, friendly and helpful.

Tina at the falls of neuse location was an absolute angel. It was my first time in the store and she was kind enough to introduce me to the loyalty program and explain everything to me about how it worked and even let me pause my orders so that I can sign up to get the deals. She was such a warm and welcoming person. Also, the store was so immaculately clean and inviting. I wanted to buy absolutely everything. Wow! I will certainly be back!

Tina and Chris at the Sutton Square location in Raleigh, NC were such a tremendous help with a specific situation on a Mother's Day order placed and had to be paid for in advance. It will make my 96 year old Mother so happy that she gets her Quiche Lorraine!! The staff at this store are AMAZING and more that accomodating with my situation!! Each time I am in Raleigh....this is where I am sure to shop!! Bless them for their help!!

I was at The Fresh Market on Falls of Neuse Rd on Wednesday, December 21 2022. I had an incredible experience and want to encourage everyone to shop here! I went to the Butcher counter to buy some lamb lollipops. I was asked to step aside and wait while they were being prepared. I stepped a side and knocked over two large bottles of red wine. They crashed on the floor and broke and made a royal mess. Not only did a butcher come from behind the counter to immediate to clean it up, and someone came with her machine to wipe up the wine, The staff was so pleasant and calm. They made me feel better about my accident. They were beyond professional! I was mortified. But they were so pleasant and kind. This was the true spirit of Christmas. I did not get their names But nonetheless they are terrific

This store is the home of my favorite cupcake in Raleigh. And also the place for smiles, you can shop freely and browse without staff constantly following you (part of my daily life as a black woman) fake stocking around you. This place is beautiful inside and makes you feel welcome and it’s cozy. The sushi specials are amazing. The deli is dope. But the bakery staff does it for me. They always are so fast to help and with a very genuine smile. Peace.

Fantastic gourmet food store. Pricey, but there are great meal deals, and the store offers do many cannot-find-anywhere-else items. The turkey and swiss wrap I picked up for lunch was delicious. Staff are warm and welcoming.

When it came time to pick up a Christmas Turkey Dinner, it was pretty chaotic and slow. After waiting for nearly an hour, they brought out the dinner in an insulated box, apologized for having run out of gravy, and shocked me by comping the entire meal! Did not expect THAT and was very moved…..to write this review! THANK YOU FRESH MARKET!

Best grocery store sushi hands down and only $5 on Thursdays! Great meat/deli/bakery selections as well. I've been in love with the toasted French rounds since I was a kid. Yum!
