Lily's Snack Bar

Decided to try this place based on a recommendation, I was not disappointed! I ordered their fried pickles, because.....fried pickles! They were delicious! The breading held on great, and the sauce was awesome! I also ordered chicken tenders because they were on sale for "tendie Tuesday", they were cooked perfectly, juicy, and the breading was well seasoned! Highly recommend!

Great food, amazing people and service, live music on weekends, imaginative drinks, and warm, accepting vibes. Quirky decor adds to the charm.

Lily’s is the best bar in Boone hands down!! The environment here is extremely inclusive and safe, which is surprising for a bar. However, it is clear that the staff here deeply cares for its patrons and they ensure that everyone is having a good (and safe) time. The food here is absolutely amazing as well, which also is pretty shocking since bar food typically isn’t the best. There are even a variety of options that are vegan friendly! I always have fun at Lily’s, whether if I am just chatting with friends over a delicious liquor bucket or dancing on the dance floor during one of their event nights. The menu items may be on the pricier side, but the unique food items and specialty cocktails are 100% worth it. Lily’s keeps winning “Best Bar” in “Best of Boone” for a reason!

Extremely good food. Very accommodating bartender for those that drink and those that don't and want something different. The staff is attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is without a doubt all inclusive even though it may look like all "cool kids" or "alternatives" at first glance to someone that may not find it their scene. Very pro compassion vibes. The flavors were amazing and I loved seeing so many vegetarian options. Unfortunately, we didn't get tons of pics because we were so eager to try everything. The stickers on the door might be off putting to some but the general vibe was chill consideration for all. Great option for a late night snack when you want to feel like your eating junk food, but really sneaking some healthier options in. We also had the sweet potato fries not shown and they were the best flavor/consistency/temp/bake/flavor I have had yet.
EDIT IN RESPONSE TO REPLY: I personally did not find anything vulgar with any of the stickers. I was trying to convey that nowadays some people have very strong opinions about certain things and not every one will always agree for their own personal reasons. I was trying to convey that the establishment seems all inclusive as long as there is not any hate or ill will to each other. Any "issues" with certain stickers I believe would stem from the condition of one's own heart or experiences and should not be anything that reflects negatively on the establishment. =) Hope this helps to clarify.

Good hot toddy and tater wedges were excellent and live up to the hype. Five dollar cover for music was a bit too noisy to enjoy but the atmosphere was interesting

I absolutely loved Lily's!

I visited with a friend in the middle of the day so it was pretty quiet. The staff was attentive and the drinks were made quickly. The lavender lemonade drink is my absolute favorite! I could sit and drink those all day!

The food was just as good. Fried pickles were perfectly crispy. The ranch served with them was delicious! Then there are the tater edges wedges. Gifts from the gods. So freaking good! Perfectly crispy, loaded with cheese and bacon bits. I didn't know tater wedges could be that good but these definitely were!

If you're looking for a safe, friendly place to grab a drink then Lily's is the place!

VEGANS COME HERE!!! I’m currently in Bali but thinking of Lilys!! That’s how good it is. I don’t even live in Boone anymore but when I visit it is still just as magical. The drinks, the vegan food, the music, the familial staff, it’s just the best there is. I’ve loved playing music there, listening to music there, dancing there… bringing my pup there…eating brunch there… and even doing my remote work there! Probably a million more things too. Great vibes, gluten-free and vegan options, nonalcoholic options too! The people who work there seem to really take care of each other, and their patrons, and make sure that it’s the safe environment for everyone to the best of their ability.

you won’t find a space that makes you feel more wanted, welcomed, safe, and loved. Worth going back to my college town, 100%, every time. As a queer POC, I have never ever ever felt uncomfortable or out of place once. They have free Lily’s Cup covers available at request to protect your drink (& extra points for helping to avoid spills)! As far as I understand, all staff are trained for safety measures and if you ever feel in need of help or would like to share something discreetly, every person who works there will help you without question. Also! They have AWESOME theme parties, and host amazing events. It’s always “A Real Cool Time™” 😎💞

I love this place. Great staff. Professional and lowbrow at the same time. When I ordered a whiskey, the bartender said, "$7.50" and I heard "$17.50." (There was a great band playing.) So I gave him 22 bucks. And he was like "wha?" I was so used to Chicago prices! I appreciated him correcting what I heard. Great vives here!

The signs say it all. Lily's is "a real cool time" where they "abide no hatred" and serve really great "tater wedges" (though admittedly I personally prefer the sweet potato fries)

A great small spot to enjoy local music and drinks. Atmosphere was wonderful and definitely felt a sense of community by visiting here. Only “complaint” is that the parking lot is pretty tight but overall I had a great time.

A band I play in recently played a show here and I felt so welcome here; the food was absolutely amazing and it’s all really reasonably priced. They also had a very wide selections of drinks to choose from and their staff were so friendly and professional.

This is the kind of place where you stumble upon, go in and meet all sorts of lovely people, and leave wanting to come back in the near future. Thanks so much, I really enjoyed myself 😎

We came and ate there on our family vacation and was very pleased! All around great experience. Food was amazing, the waitress was very inviting and great, and was very clean.

Very friendly and hard-working waitstaff, solid food and beer specials, didn't get a slushie but might get one next time.

Great little bar and grill!! Played a show here and everyone in my band brought food back to the hotel. I had a BANGIN shrimp poboy with plenty of shrimp! Spicy, but not unpleasant. Our drummer, singer, and bassist got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich which our bassist said was the best Nashville hot chicken he'd ever eaten outside of Nashville. Bands got a free drink and meal and we were all treated very well. I highly recommend this to anyone in the Boone area!

Expectations low, head high, I (vegan) wander in hoping to have at least French fries to quench my hunger. I now consider this place my home. Everything from the seeds of oranges in the freshly squeezed orange juice, to the sweet sugar on the vegan corn dogs. Great food, better service. I want Lilly’s to cater my wedding and also attend my wedding as my maid of honor.

We have been twice within the last year (live in Charlotte.) All of the staff is friendly, they have a great drink selection and pricing plus best of all they have many vegan options! Check em out!!

Every time I come to Lily's (which is probably too often!) the food is fresh, delicious, and ready in about 10 minutes- it's a perfect lunch break spot. The staff is stellar, super friendly and accommodating. Don't even get me started on the tater wedges- they advertise them in the window for a reason!! Definitely give it a try if you're in the area!
